“This evening my boyfriend and I were meandering in downtown Oconomowoc and decided to stop in Wine Maniacs for dinner. Let me tell you it was the best decision we had made all day! Our server was James who was informative and friendly! He started us off with a few sweeter wines that we showed interest in. He hit the nail on the head, we loved the Moscato he recommended. We skipped appetizers and went right to the main course. My boyfriend had the lamb lollypop and I had the House Pasta which included my favorite food pesto! The entree was delicious, my boyfriend left nothing behind. James also brought wine for our dinner to pair with our food. It was so nice the tester wine we were offered before committing to a whole glass. I appreciate how informative and friendly James was! James told us a little bit about himself like how he worked in the corporate work place before working full time at this restaurant. He truly has a passion for wine and is doing a great job! James deserves a raise! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious food and wine. I appreciated the informative servers and them being able to seat us right away without a reservation. 10/10”
“This Tropical smoothie was very clean and the staff was super nice and friendly. If I had any issues it would be the plastic that covers the straws. It is hard to get those open.”
“Excellent salads, pasta, and cocktails. The steak is great as well. My family has been here many times. Each experience was nice. This evening our server was Brie. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and she gave good recommendations. She was funny as well. It's refreshing when someone does their job well without taking themselves too seriously.”
“Great rail road theme and great staff that handled a group of 20 well. Great breakfast...even at lunch ?Kid-friendliness: Yes, if they like model trains, and who doesn't”
“I can absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Bar and Grill at Pabst Farm in Oconomowoc, WI! The food is awesome, and I would say that the burger is the best in town. The wings are fantastic, and on Mondays they are 40 cents a piece! The dry rubs and wet sauces are all specially prepared and are very good! The rest of the menu, along with the weekly specials, are all great value and prepared with fresh ingredients and care by the Garden Inn chefs, Tammy and Will.Service at the bar is great. Emily, Lisa, Heather and Dan are all accomplished bar tenders, very personable and provide great service. There is no better spot to land for a great meal and great service in Oconomowoc - please stop by and enjoy an evening at the Garden Inn Bar and Grill!”
“If you’re in Oconomowoc I highly recommend Whelan’s! If you’re like me and truly, truly enjoy high quality coffee then this is the go-to place! I’ve tried other coffee shops in the area and they all fell flat in comparison. From the friendly staff (Laurel and Julie), to the selection of baked goods and ice cream, to the “kick back and relax” hometown vibe, Whelan’s is truly a diamond in the rough!”
“I order from window. Take home because it is outside dining only and way too cold right now. During the summer they have several picnic tables with umbrellas! Favorite is steak tacos on corn tortillas.Parking: On Brown Street in Oconomowoc plenty of parking on level ground. No steps to get service or food.Kid-friendliness: In warm weather you can eat outside on picnic tables with umbrellas.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps! Roll from car up to window to order food and pick up food.”
“Full Spoon Grab & Go is amazing! They provide wellness workshops a few times a month for FREE! They provide speakers and an amazing atmosphere. They also keep the registers open the entire time, so you are able to purchase food and drinks while you learn about different healthy options for a healthy lifestyle. They also have such amazing food and drink options that give a variety of choices of healthy options! Cannot wait to go back for more in the future :)Kid-friendliness: I brought my kids into the shop and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They had great customer service and great options for my kids to have the freedom to choose what they wanted to eat and drink!”
“It's what everyone wishes they had in their own neighborhood, an old fashioned butcher shop. They have a monthly "meat bundle," which we order almost every month. Love this place!”
“Let me start by saying my ribs and wings are better than most legit bbq places in America. That's all. This place is good too. Hands down best bbq place in lake country. Sides are legit. Meats are mostly strong. Good drinks. Really like the overall vibe. Feels barbecuey in a good way. Friendly staff. Sauces are mid but good meat don't need sauce. Chicken is the under the radar hero here. Pulled chicken and wings are guaranteed crowd pleasers. Getting here feels a bit like you're going to Canada and there's about an 80% chance you'll have to swerve a deer en route, but it's worth the trek”
“This brewery is a bit out of the way, but they have a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They have an ever-changing beer list with only a few constants. Jorge is probably the best jalapeño beer I've tasted. We enjoyed all of our beers, with 80s Love Child being the all around favorite. They also have a small food menu and other snacks to purchase. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.”
“First time customers, the wait staff was very attentive and very friendly, the food was average. Came for breakfast. It was very not busy and we were served in less then 10 mins of arriving. Very fast service, very friendly, reasonably priced.”
“Very good climate control, fast and delicious food! Polite and hard working staff delivering consistent and quality every time! No complaints whatsoever :) there is a reason i’ve been coming here for 10 years+”
“Stopped for lunch this weekend with my father who's currently at Shorehaven for rehab. Quick, friendly service, good food and fair prices. Lady at the counter, Kelly, was super friendly and helpful. What a great part of the Shorehaven campus to have patients/residents/guests to have an option for a change of scenery and the opportunity to dine together.”
“Service was ok, friendly, but probably busy and end of the day tired. Food took a while but was freshly made.I liked the Pinsa crust a lot and the toppings were plenty. Overall it was too salty! Almost too oily but ok. I would come back to try different items. Prices are fair. The menu has plenty of options and drinks. Atmosphere is cozy.”
