“Service was outstanding employees very helpful & polite. Tried the vegetable burger & it was very delicious, it is very soft too. Sooo enjoyed it. Also had the roast beef sandwich Have to let them know if you need ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise because they have behind the counter. My sister had the quarter pounder with bacon & cheese curds so delicious. They opened at 10'30am we had to wait a few minutes before opening but well worth it. They have handicap parking & entrance plus drive thru. Bathrooms were very nice & clean“

“Excellent upscale modern restaurant that focuses on American cuisine. We ordered their tower of onion rings a couple of burgers and their chicken wings. Everything was fresh, hot and seasoned well. The grandkids enjoyed that they had a jukebox where you could play music of your own selection . Lots of TVs if you have a sports fanatic. The prices were great, and customer service was outstanding. I was in town for a Boy Scouts event, and the restaurant also has an ice cream shop across the street and the grandkids had dessert there it was amazing!“

“Newly owned. Service was great (MUCH better than the last owners). They are a dessert-only DQ (no kitchen).The soft serve cones are good...they even have chocolate so you can get a twist cone!Like most DQs, they need to learn how to mix the blizzards.....my son and I both got one and all the stuff was at the top, only partially mixed in.Glad to have one back in town! “I miss this little shop so much, I used to walk here every weekend with my mom when I was a little girl 15 years ago. Now living a few hours away I want to take the trip just for this shop. The staff were always very generous from what I remember. If Ranison’s stays in business id love to take my future kids here The gummies, chocolates and especially the Blue Moon ice cream are my favorites. Maybe one day I’ll be able to visit again ✨“

Make sure you balance your consumption with a brisk walk/ bike around La Crosse - there are plenty of walking/ biking options!“

“Amazing!!!!! My boyfriend and I ended up there today after riding our bikes towards Devil's Lake, taking the most perfect wrong turn onto HWY 16 in the Dells and just decided to keep going. (180mi+ from where we live). Spotted Corky's and I'd been craving a good pizza, we were both hungry. Great atmosphere, EXCELLENT, friendly service (as a former waitress, I'm probably more tuned into this than most, and the service was EXCELLENT-perfectly timed, attentive, not overly intrusive, friendly). I ordered a 10" pizza, BF ordered a BLT. His BLT wasn't anything you couldn't make at home, toast with a lot of lettuce, slivers of tomato, bacon and mayo. I took a small bite of his, meh. I could see him drooling at my pizza, he helped me eat the 10" pizza and it was AMAZING!!!! The pizza was made from a real, freshly formed dough and had amazingly good, super crispy texture AND flavor (NOT a frozen crust, they were rolling it out in front of us). The wait was only like 15 minutes. The sauce was delicious (lava hot!) did not taste like any canned variety, the cheese was ample and chewy/squeaky. We devoured it and are sad there aren't any places like this near us. My boyfriend and have already put this place on our "map" as a place we will DEFINITELY make the very scenic ride back to the beautiful town, amazing pizza whenever we can!!!! That's over places we have pegged within 50 miles of where we live that serve delicious food (no place has pizza like this!!!!) It's sincerely that good. (Plus the town is super cute, nestled in the bluffs along the Mississippi River. If we didn't have a time crunch to get back home before dusk, we would've loved to spend the day there).“
