“A small town bar and grill that feels like home to me. I had not been there for a few years and unfortunately the owner had past away since. His family is giving it a go. Burger was as good as I remembered. Apparently the same recipe that has been used for 40 years.“

“They were the best people we ran into after our stay at the Holiday inn towers associated with the UW Wisconsin because of three employees none of the others and we have stayed there on multiple occasions I was refused to even get the free breakfast and that isn't even the least of it so I want to thank the people at McDonald's They were very kind Our food was hot and I live 0.3 miles away from McDonald's where we're from and we constantly get messed up orders including to the point of no burger on the bun and it's ice cold when it's 90° outside It is cold by the time we get home It's awful so this restaurant and the employees in it deserve recognition from their employer Thank you all You were all wonderful It was the only thing that made me not hate people anymore that day Thank you“
“Just got the beef phily steak in wings buffalo wings and let me tell you it was good and I’m from Chicago in the beef man savory flavor. The guy know what he’s doing in his restaurant and he’s so nice. He gave us some Italian ice to try because it’s St. Patrick’s Day and I give his food 10 out of 10.“
“This place has wonderful food and great drinks. Service was reasonably prompt and pleasant, food was delicious, drinks equally great. My only downside is expectations. When your times state 10:30 close, I expect 10:30 close. Instead, at 9:50 our table was told “We’re closing, but no rush, are you ready for the check?” This indeed insinuates that we should head out now. 40 min earlier than the advertised close. While finishing our drinks, all table’s chairs were being placed on the tables, a clear indication of closing. All tables chairs were on the tables except ours by 10pm. I totally understand a slow night, but as a manger, one should set expectations for customers regardless of current customer level. Instead they should set time for 10pm if this indeed is their existing typical closing time. Set a time, and stick to it. Again, food was delicious, from burger to cheese curds, it was all great. Please reevaluate your timings to align with your expectations. Nonetheless, thank you for the evening.“
“Went for lunch with a friend. It was Badger home game Saturday so it was busy. We only waited a few minutes for a table. Ordered cheese burger & beer. Burger was cooked perfectly. It was on a soft bun and was juicy and seasoned well. Atmosphere was friendly and place was very clean. Will definitely return.Parking: There is street parking and area is safe.“
“I've been here before for dinner, but we met friends for beers & appetizers on a Thursday about 430pm.Great selection of beers on tap & we ordered deep frued cheese curds & mushrooms & melted goat cheese with slivers of red peppers, garlic cloves & onions served with toasted bread slices. All three appetizers were great, most especially the goat cheese, except it would have been nice to have more bread served with it.Our server was pleasant, prompt, & humorous. The atmosphere is a bit loud for conversation but it's a smaller place & generally busy.*recommend*“
“Stopped in for lunch with family and was warmly greeted. Beautiful resturant with a full bar with slot machines and darts. Several different rooms available. It appeared they were setting up for a wedding in a separate party room. It looked lovely. We sat in a room with a view of the water. Look forward to coming back in the summer so we can sit outside. The family ordered bloody Marys which they said were good. We had steak sandwiches which were tasty. Our waiter was friendly and efficient!“
