“We celebrated our dad’s 80th birthday here, the second big milestone our family has celebrated at Parkside 23. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Aaron, did a phenomenal job! The private room was perfect for us with just over twenty guests. It was a great space and beautiful ambiance. Our event coordinator, Brittany, was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend it!“

“Our service today was less than great! Over 2 hours for lunch for 2 people. She barely checked on us. She didn't fill our waters unless we asked. Asked for a wine list to pick a wine to go with dessert, and she more less just handed it over and walked away. Then it took her 20min to bring dessert.“

“"the" Kitchen in Sussex, is a hidden gem. I am hesitant to review it publicly because it may lose its small town diner feel.I have been here 2x, both times for breakfast. Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.“

“Trippy to be in this building as my first apt at age 18 (1991) was around the corner & this was the functioning firehouse for MF.Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is nice but loud, sound definitely carries in this venue. Staff however is great, very attentive, kind & on their game. I would try this place again.Parking: Noon on a Friday and almost impossible to find near by parking. In the heart of downtown area and next to middle school so parking is truly at a premium.“

“We had Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Barbecue Chicken pizza and loved them both! The eating area is a basic multifunction room that they rearrange for baseball darts also. There is a big game room in back and also a bar area in front. Friendly people and Excellent service!“

“We ordered the battered cod and half the fish was pollack and the other was cod. The pollack was so fishy tasting the dog wouldn't even eat it. It went down the garbage disposal. Fries were overcooked, almost burnt. Salad was all leaves, no tomato except for 2 tiny pieces.The bun was the best of the whole meal.Tally's has always been our go to for fish fries. Always excellent. Hopefully our next visit will be better or we'll be on the hunt for a new place.“

“We had a cocktail at this establishment quite some time ago and it was OK. We came back to town and decided to have cocktails and dinner. Maddy our bartender was amazing. Great personality, and knowledgeable in her craft. Then on to dinner the food was awesome and Chris our server was spot on. Im in the food service industry and my expectations are pretty high. You definitely surpassed my standards. Thank you Christopher(server) and Maddy ( best lemon drop martini ever) for taking care of us. “This is a nice neighborhood bar. I go there to watch sports as they have a good setup with multiple screens showing just about any game you want to see. The food is good and reasonably priced. They have a good selection of beers on tap. Friendly and attentive bartenders. The only thing I can say negative is that it can get pretty loud, so if you're looking for a quiet place for conversation this isn't it.“

“I've lost count as to how many times I've visited Bar Louie. It's probably the number one happy hour spot for my friends and I. They have a large menu with lots of drink and food options. Although I've been coming for years, I've never written a review. I'm writing one now because I'm petitioning for them to never get rid of the new grilled cheese and subsequent chicken parmesan sandwiches. They are like siblings both made with a creamy spread, sliced cheese and a parmesan crust - both incredibly delicious and I will be absolutely devastated if you ever get rid of them. The flatbreads and garlic parmesan wings are a staple as well that I will definitely come back for but I will be dreaming about those sandwiches until I get to eat them again. So. Freaking. Good. And the new beach ball martini was fantastic, I want seven of them on vacation right now :)“
