“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“
“Went to Reunion after a church service with a large group (12ish) to celebrate my friend’s kid’s dedication. We all had the Sunday buffet and there were so many options. There was something for everyone, even the picky kids with us and we all left very full. We also each got game play cards for the arcade upstairs. So fun! “We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Caribbean. In fact, we are three states away from being in all fifty. This hotel is one of the best planned and run that we have ever stayed in! The check in agent was busy on a work related call but managed to check us in so we didn’t have to wait. The room was spotless and smelled very clean. The bed was oriented facing the window which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. Rather enjoyed that. Very comfortable pillows, two seemed to be feather. An honest to goodness nightlight was provided in the bathroom instead of nothing or a green glowing panel. The floor to ceiling sliding glass door in the shower insured no fighting with a curtain to keep water off the floor. Nicely arranged bathmat to look like a butterfly. Speaking of the shower, how nice the have the water control on the opposite wall from the shower head so you don’t get sprayed with cold water. A nice big shower also. PLENTY of outlets and USB fast charging ports in the room also, much appreciated! Well appointed gym. The breakfast room in the morning was well designed with tvs on several walls so no matter which way you faced, made for easy viewing. The breakfast among other things consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns and nice crisp bacon. Muffins, waffles, breads etc made for a breakfast to please anyone. All well serviced and maintained by staff. USA Today was provided both downstairs and by the elevator on the floors. Ample parking and walking distance from a Walgreens and restaurants. Right across the the State Fairgrounds also. All in all, congratulations to the management and a place we will definitely stay at again should we find ourselves in Milwaukee!“

For my main course I had the butternut squash risotto. And, for afters, the pear and sunflower. My father went straight for the filet mignon. So, the result was a big thumbs up, 5 stars. Our server was very good and recommended wines that matched with our dishes well, but the service was a bit slow probably because the restaurant was quite full. The menu is large, and there are quite a few choices other than steaks despite its reputation as a steak house. I ordered Hudson Canyon Seared Scallops as my main course; the dish was quite flavorful, although the scallops were not as tender as those that I had at other restaurants in town. I also ordered the Seafood Gumbo soup and found the soup to be better than most outside those I had in New Orleans. The restaurant has a fine dining setup, and the price certainly reflects that. The quality of food is good but nothing amazing. As a hotel restaurant, it needs to have the capacity to serve a large number of customers when holding events, likely requiring standardization and limiting room for innovation. So, for the same price or a little less, one can find better-quality food elsewhere in Milwaukee based on my view.“

“We ordered Ardent's Lent special Friday only fish fry and at $30 a pop for either perch or blue gill we were understandably curious about whether it would prove worth the cost but because the restaurant always delivers the best in culinary quality we felt pretty confident. Let me just say once we got home and opened up our 'pizza sized delivery boxes' we were stunned ! Each contained mounds of perfectly crisped French fries delicately sprinkled with parsley & dill , 2 containers of creamy flavorful tartar sauce , 2 slices of yummy marble rye slathered in sweet butter, a generous serving of piquant coleslaw and ample serving of PURR-FECTLY breaded & fried fish fillets + 3 fresh lemon wedges to add a bit of zest. Seriously in a post COVID world where restaurant prices continue to rise and in many cases quality & quantity slips an utterly delicious dining experience like this deserves all the accolades we can muster! Everyone had a hand in the experience, from the bartender to the servers to the chef. They were unobtrusive, funny, helpful, and generous. We were in the upstairs room and there was plenty of space to mingle and move around. What I love, as a self professed window shopper, is how much stuff there is to look at. I am seriously jealous of Chef David’s eclectic collection of goods. I can get lost in all his secret rooms passageways and antiques. I could easily spend hours looking at everything in his office alone just like I would at Target or Hobby Lobby lol. I would give 6/5 if I could for experience.Food was amazing, curated and discussed beforehand, per our friend who hosted this party. He planned everything out with the chef, having some choice in it, but not all. Regardless, all courses were amazing and plentiful. You do not leave hungry. The crème brûlée was my FAVORITE PART. “This was a random Google find, and I'll definitely be back. The Chicken sandwich was delicious, the breading light and crispy (and completely attached!); one of the best I've had in a while. The breakfast Burrito was a good size, bigger than expected as it was about standard burrito size (you know how some places offer smaller breakfast sized burritos) The corndogs were pretty good, although they were about half the size the picture online made them appear. Fries did not disappoint and my son said his burger sliders were good. Overall it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Employees seemed in good spirits too.“
