“The 3 of us had a very short time for lunch while our dog was with the Vet. We were directed upstairs and into the terrace view. The young man was so helpful and really exemplified the friendliness of Port Washington. We had been in an auto for. 5 hrs and under some stress of the specialized vet visit for our very distressed pet. He directed us to the terrace, turned the music down and the atmosphere was just what we all needed . The view of the bay, the sunshine , quiet and such friendliness of our waiter really was perfect the food was also perfect We had 2 the fish sandwiches with onion rings and fries and a plain burger. It arrived very fresh, fast and hot. We would definitely come back and I have recommended it to friends visiting the area. I hope to meet our waiter in our north woods one day. May I suggest that the chamber or whomever does the website review said typical bar food. That almost made us not come here thinking just pizza or prepkgd food deep fried. I am really glad it was a Monday because some others were not opened. They failed to mention the spectacular view, the whole staff welcomed us in and also wished us well. The menu is not typical at all.and the food well prepared and delicious with great welcoming service.“
“I am Definitely Biased in my Review as I am Friends with the owner. however that being said, The Atmosphere is amazing The selection of Beers is top notch and constantly changing. Staff is knowledgable, friendly, and Welcoming. Jason Keep up the fantastic work and I will see you again in 2023.“
“First time coming here, we had reservations and got sat right away. Loved our waitress. The only thing I would complain about is the garlic bread was drained in oil. I am not one to write a review let alone a complaint. But when we would take the bread out of the basket it was sitting in a puddle of oil. We ordered one as an appetizer and with the meal and it was the same. Otherwise everything else was good! Service was super nice“
“We have been to Messina several times in the past few years, and always are greeted pleasantly, and enjoy the charming hand-painted murals on the walls. It is the wonderful food and service bringing us back every time. There's quaint Italian music, or a mix of Jazz and Sinatra piped into the lounge. A small but nice wine offering is a plus.Whether we have steak, pasta or seafood, we are always impressed. A favorite is their marsala. Salads are crisp, fresh pepper is applied tableside. Entrees are beautifully presented, and breads are wonderful, served warm with butter. My favorite is the desserts - I never leave without having tiramisu, and Messina's is wonderful... Even on Saturday nights, without a reservation in a snowstorm, or in July at the height of the dinner hour on a weekend this place shines - in every way. Food, Service, and Atmosphere. There is an exceptional wine list which we occasionally enjoy, too. I love this place and have always hesitated putting out such a wonderful review, because I don't want to find the place so busy as to not be able to give me the great service that we have always enjoyed! (Did I mention the coffee? Also rich and wonderful.) Enjoy it. Messina is fantastic!“
“This is by far the best pizza! You must order the deep dish. Even people that typically do not like deep dish love this one! The crust tastes like my grandma's beer bread she used to make. The ingredients are fresh and they are not stingy with their toppings. I even had my friend's mom (from Italy) dine with me there and she said it was exceptionally good. She said the sausage is excellent. It's a small, cozy place. A great place to dine with friends. The bartenders are always friendly. (You order at the bar and they tell you when your order is up.) My latest visit was recently. We drove from the airport, all the way to Tomaso's in the snow to enjoy their pizza, (we even ordered a par bake to take home) then drive an hour back home.“
“Visiting Cedarburg Wisconsin for the first time today our group really lucked out in finding Sal's pizzeria. After being turned down at a few local spots for not having reservations we continued down main steet in hopes of finding someplace good for breakfast. After a few minutes walking downtown we crossed the street where the familiar smell of fresh baked pizza permeated the air. After a short discussion the group decided I should go inside first to check if they had enough room for the six of us and see if they made gluten free pizza. The answer was yes to both so we decided to give it a try and man are we glad we did! The six of us, all pizza snobs from Chicago had to agree Sal's makes an exceptionally good pie, literally among the best pizza any of us ever tasted. What makes admitting this so hard is the fact Sal's pizza is New York style, a hard pill to swallow for anyone from the Windy City. But hey, anything as good as Sal's needs to be celebrated so that's why we've decided to surrender this battle in the Pizza wars and share this amazing gem with the world.Mangiare“
“I can't speak highly enough about this place. I recently moved to the area via military transfer and, after passing it a number of times, I finally stopped in. So glad I did! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and gave me a 10% military discount on my order. After paying for my pizzas and walking out the door with my pizzas, I realized I had goofed up, ordering two cheese pizzas when I intended to order a cheese and a veggie. The staff immediately transformed the cheese pie into the veggie as I intended, thanked me for coming back and wouldn't let me pay the difference in price. What business provides this level of customer service? When I got it home and took it out of the oven, my whole family extremely pleased with the result. It was fresh and delicious. I grew up back East and I know good pizza. This is a place that clearly takes pride in what they do and the products they offer. I will patronize this local business frequently for as long as I am in the area.“
“Highly recommend! The delivery on March 3rd around 6 pm, was on time and the delivery driver was incredibly courteous and professional. I wish we had gotten his name so we could let his manager know we both really appreciated such great service.'The Worx' pizza was absolutely delicious. The hand tossed crust was perfect and all the toppings were even better than anticipated. The whole experience was great, thank you, and we'll be ordering from your restaurant again!“
“Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.“
“Was visiting family but since it was raining we decided not to go out to eat but instead got pizzas. Can’t go wrong with Papa John Pizza since you can either go with what’s on their menu of just build your own. You may have to bake it yourself, but you’ll know it’s hot and fresh out of the oven. We had the Papa’s Favorite and Papa’s Perfect (never understood the need for pineapple on a pizza.)“
“I have never NOT had an amazing experience with this Bada Bing. I've had delivery, picked up, and dined in. Always happy and funny employees. Management is awesome (a few times I've come in to them training and they are always great). And I'm so glad that while it's one of the few restaurants in the area, especially that delivers to us, I could not ask for better. I invite family from Milwaukee, Greenfield, New Berlin, and even all over the country, over a lot, and can always count on an easy and fast dinner/delivery that knocks the socks off of EVERYONE!Kid-friendliness: While the lobby is small for dine-in with a brood, the employees are amazing with kids! Even the "younger" crowd were all so sweet to my little girl. It's always nice to go to a place where everyone is just chill with kids and don't mind the possible ruckus!“
“This was our first time there after multiple years of people saying we should go. We got cheesy garlic bread and their monthly special pizza, a French onion, and both were great. We were able to speak with the owner, and it was fun learning the history from such a kind woman. We will be back!“
“After having a very disappointing experience with my usual pizza place (Domino's, 2 hours, cold pizza) I decided to pick up a pizza from a place that I drive past all the time but had never been. So I called and ordered a pizza to be picked up. When I got there to the small store Mike the owner (? Not sure about that) and I started talking about delivery since I'm a Doordasher and Mike gave me a tour of the place, (spotlessly clean and uncluttered) and his $5k heating system for his deliveries. He is the only one in the area that has special pizza bags that contain a disk which is heated up in the kitchen ( in 1.5 minutes so hot I couldn't even touch it) and the pizza placed inside the bag. Never get a cold pizza delivered again! And how was the pizza? Hot and fresh with big chunks of vegetables lots of cheese and a great sauce. Even after 10 minutes to get it home the crust was great and crunchy. Impressive pizza. Price wise a Large 16" pizza with tomato, olive, sausage, pepperoni, onion, green pepper was $26. Worth every penny! Take out and delivery only are available. I will absolutely be back.“
“I ordered several pizzas and salads for a team dinner. John’s Pizzaria was so easy to work with and the pizza was delicious! All of the coaches appreciated having a delicious pizza option versus ordering from a chain pizza restaurant and commented about how good the food was. Would definitely recommend!“
