“We have our Veterans (weekly) Cup of Coffee -VCC- here on Wednesday mornings. All branches of service, no rank, no dues. Denny's is very accommodating to our large group.The staff and their very friendly service they provide has everything to do with our now over ten years old group and growing membership.Denny's has a fine senior menu as well as a calorie count listed with the menu choices. Not only that but there's a rewards card for every 5 of any meal purchased, you get a free senior meal!There's a new menu just out. Ever more yummy. “I ordered salads to go and they were the best ones I've had in a long time. They were ready and waiting when I arrived. The salads were huge and we were given big containers of dressing. The salads tasted great! I'd highly recommend them.“

“When we come to visit WI we always got to have some Sam's pizza we haven't been back in a few years so glad it's still there ( I doubt it will ever go out which I'm so glad for.) pizza is still on point service was great we got there before the rush flow and we got mozzarella sticks and a medium pizza for the husband and I to split. It's still one of my favorite places to eat to this day. Will come back as long as they are open.“

“I think it would be good to have some blind to control the blinding sunlight that comes through the windows. It would make the atmosphere more comfortable for breakfast patrons. Menu was excellent. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was super great!“

“I love the Mint. Whenever I'm in Wasau I make sure to stop in because it is one of the last true, old school diners around. The place has history. Their breakfast used to bowl me over but this time the eggs seemed to be powdered. I could be wrong, but they just weren't the same. Came back the next day for dinner and the chicken and stuffing was just as delicious as I remembered. The place is always buzzing with the locals and it's write in the heart of downtown so you can do a little walking after your meal. Come enjoy a small slice of Americana.“

“We like to go here because we know they care about the food quality. I think they have turnover with wait staff and I get it, the hours are limited. But we have never had a rude or unhelpful server, just newer and maybe confused. It is delicious though so it is worth it.“

“Best place in town for real authentic tacos and other Mexican cuisine... Love love love their tacos and tamales, but what really did it for me was the Esquites! If only it wasn't made with sweet corn, then it would be really like you get in Mexico (I know that they don't have access to that, and it's ok). Other than that .. It is as authentic as you're gonna get, right down to the postre... Pastel de Tres Leches!! Riquísimo! Bravo!!? ??*Edit* Nothing has changed as far as my opinion goes. “A surprising find. Great Asian food. This is not your typical Asian buffet place. Large menu with lots to explore. Exceptionally fresh ingredients presented beautifully. We live 2 hours away so we can't make it a regular go to, but we will be back.“

“This is a classic Wisconsin Dive Bar. The atmosphere is historic with the big wooden bar and freezer doors. All cash bar, no credit is accepted. The register is an old school punch button antique. The burgers are AMAZING!!! The beef is brought in fresh every morning from Townline Meat Market. And the buns are made fresh from Krueger bakery. All locally sourced. The Bloody Mary's are also made from scratch. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Wisconsin Dive Bar experience.“

“Great place if you have celiacs disease. Staff was well informed of precautions and even helped with menu items that would be safe. They even thoroughly cleaned the grill before firing the order to prevent cross contamination. Above and beyond what I would have expected!Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly.“

“Great wine making shop!! With very good wines as well. They helped me set my wife up with a wine making kit for Christmas. Very helpful and informative. They even sent me a personal text when a wine they had was done being bottled. Will go again!“

“Amelia made our visit wonderful. She knew everything about the menu and answered our questions. Also checked in often. And oh yeah, the food is awesome too. Had the soup and shared a pizza. Finished dinner with "huge" piece of carrot cake. As a person who rarely does reviews and only when the restaurant really deserves it, Red Eye Brewing really knocks it out of the park.“

“I ordered a “Bet You Can’t Burger” (2) half pound burger patties. Folks, this is a serious burger for serious burger eaters but i did it. Whoa. Pretty damn awesome. The waitress was so sweet and the atmosphere and ambience was very nice. I highly recommend the Wausau Mine Company. Music was A1…..NO COUNTRY, Yay!!“

“Wow this place knocked it out of the park. First of all this place is super clean. Second of all are server Dan helped make the experience way better. He gave us the run down on everything and gave us some good laughs here. Great food too. Definitely would go back if you haven't gone already what are you waiting for.“

“Went here for an early mother's day dinner, first time ever dining in here and it was very good. Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations. The restaraunt has a unique environment and is very elegant and cool.we shared the spicy sprouts appetizers then I had the elk burger, my partner had the beer cheese bacon burger and my mother had the Jamaican jerk chicken wings for our entrees, we were all very happy with our meals! Everything was delicious and interesting!Kid-friendliness: The kids liked having so much interesting things to look at inside and they also really liked their chicken tenders yogurt and fries and fruit.“

“The historic building is gorgeous and the interior design/renovation was perfectly executed! The huge windows, concrete floors, beautiful wooden tables, open layout, and lighting choices make for such a comfortable experience. We enjoyed a Forward Beverage mocktail and then a Wissota Raspberry Hefeweizen fruit beer while listening to a great band. The Hefeweizen was delicious! Great variety of brews to choose from and a nice selection of n/a options. The bartender was also very kind. Excited to return!“

“Everything about this experience was spectacular! The atmosphere was fun, the food was beyond excellent and came out quickly, and our server Jessica was top-notch! I have never been here before, but I would recommend it to anyone that might be passing through Wausau. I did the make your own burger with the chipotle ranch, and the boyfriend and I shared the cheese curds sampler (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) Even our guests said the same thing when I mentioned to them that a lot of things had so much pepper on it. The meatballs especially had so much pepper, chicken was great.Will try again though.“

“This is our second visit. It's about 45 minutes from home. Nice atmosphere with casual, to upscale dining. The dining area looks out on the golf course, and the ski runs at Granite Peak in Wausau. The food was fabulous, and the value for our dollar was very good. Wait staff was very polite and fun! We will be back more often! Excellent Italian food.“

“Personally, I don't mind that food and place there and it's not my top favorite for Chinese restaurants but it's not terrible either. Yes, you most likely will be waiting for a while for pickup but that gives you time to do some other things in the mean time. The food on the other hand is alright, but it's harder for me to pick out a lot of different things every time so I normally stick with the same dish when ordering. Other than those, dining is fairly comfortable because of how nice the place looks and how well it fits all togetherParking: If the place is busy then parking can be harder, and if for some reason a family is diving in more then one vehicle then parking can come off more harder then normal“

“2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“Great place for families! For what we have in wausau it's pretty good. It's next to the water for a pretty scenery, has a kids playground, and also briks during summer hours. There is a restaurant but from my past experience, you'll be waiting a long time to be served.“

“Soooo I ordered fish fry.. Great Dane doesn’t disappoint. A bad review here isn’t necessary because they always are top notch. Visiting from Alaska I’m super bummed beer cheese soup is no longer on the menu as it has been like a major fav of mine forever buttttt the fried plantain is definitely a great addition. They are super cool to let me me substitute for those. Love the vibes and the food is what I tell my Alaskan friends about everytime I go home ?? thanks guys for all you do ?“
