“Ate here tonight for the first time with my son and daughter and it was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted immediately by a hostess, and as we were being seated one of the two owners walked over to greet us and shook our hands as well. Our server, Tom, was amazing. Very engaging, explained the specials in detail down to the ingredients used to make each plate and answered our questions about other dishes and made recommendations to us. He was beyond friendly, worked very efficiently around us and visited our table at least 5 times during our dinner experience. The food….5 Stars on each item we ordered and we shared two desserts that were equally amazing as the food. On our way out the second owner was at the front, thanked us for coming in, asked us about our service and the food and was super friendly as we discussed their background and when they first opened up the restaurant.I will certainly be back and I will bring and recommend this place to all my family and friends.Thank you Santinos Little Italy for a wonderful experience.“

“Love this place, best var for craft coctails on the west side of milwaukee/suburbs. Been here so many times, food wise they just have a few simple apps like a giant pretzel, or a cheese platter which are all fine, tgey dont have a full menu butnypu can vring food if you want. Drink wise they have a nice selection of craft beers and a changing list of craft cocktails based on the season. There are unique flavors, and something for everyone from sweet to dry and everything between, all well balanced. Its in on old fire station so there isnt much indoor seating but lots outside & a gas fire pit for warmth.Parking: Only street parking available“

“First-time visit while waiting for an appointment. I was the first one there for lunch, so service was quick and friendly. The beef consommé soup of the day was excellent, and left me wanting to add some more tasty veggies. The deep fried veggies were good, but the batter was a bit greasy and bland for my taste, so I look forward to trying the many healthier choices next time!“

“Overall just a perfect corner bar, every aspect nailed - I have to say the standout quality to me was the sound system. The music selection was wide and tasteful but the real star for me was the actual sound. I’m not sure if I’ve heard as high quality of sound at a bar in my life. Clear with sub-bump and doesn’t interfere with conversation even at higher volume. I saw heads nodding all night, so dope.“

“I never knew I liked empanadas until I stopped in here. They have a ton of different flavors and every one I've had is really good. My favorites are the chicken tinga, mushroom and tomato mozzarella. The mushroom one is incredible. The chimichurri sauce is also great. They have a nice little tap beer selection as well. Always a good stop in Milwaukee.“
“Awesome beer selection and super friendly bartender. The only downside is, I was also hungry, and aside from bagged chips or nuts, be aware there is no food or kitchen here. The few places within walking distance had also closed their kitchens, so if you're out late, be aware there are not dining options past 9 pm here. I'll be back for the great brews, but after I fill by belly next time.“

“The most incredible brunch food! Come support this women-owned, Latina-owned business.Everything on the menu is fabulous, but I can’t help but order the Carnita Hash Bowl every time. Such amazing flavors, veggies, and a generous portion of pork. The Serrano Pork Belly bowl is also incredible with crispy yet juicy and tender pork belly. You won’t leave hungry.P.S. their garlic bloody mary might be my favorite in the city. Amazing, fresh bloody mix with a Modelo chaser!P.P.S. Check their website for their weekly drink specials for a $6 drink of the day!“

“A dimly-lit, laid-back cocktail lounge, which is just what I was seeking. Chill crowd, with vintage music in the background. The drinks are a bit different than what I’m used to; but the bartenders put their own little spin on tradition. That’s fine with me — variety is the spice of life. I will definitely be back.“
“Can't say enough how much I love Edith. Friends and I have frequented a few times, since first visiting over the summer, and it's always enjoyable! Their menu is crafted perfectly, so each cocktail is its own unique experience. The ambiance is comfortable and moody (their playlists are a vibe), which makes it easy to stay a while. Best of all the service is always impeccable - from the owner herself to the mixologists! Highly recommend to anyone who loves a nice speakeasy!“

“The drinks and atmosphere here are above and beyond.Matt is one of the most personable bartenders I've had the pleasure to be served by. He will keep multiple conversations going with patrons while getting handcrafted drinks out remarkably fast. I don't think I waited longer than a minute after ordering to get anything.“
“tl;dr - a date night out with great staff and even better drinks Tin Widow is something special - the ambiance, the decor, the lightning - there's just something different about it and elevates things from your typical chic cocktail lounge. Always a cozy vibe with lit candles, but the staff really drives it for something different as they are caring, creative and are actually willing and seem like they want to chat with you when they have a breather. You would definitely want to come here for a romantic night out or just a great catchup night with friends. Again the decor is kind of fun, there's a lot of interesting little statues and art around that will be a conversation topic if you need one. This place also turns into a CRAZY hotspot during December where it's like a Miracle holiday pop up where it looks like Christmas has been (very lovingly) vomited all over the entire inside. A fun holiday drink menu and the crazy decorations make that a VERY hard place to get into when it's active. Basically, visit it at least once (it's fun to check out) and then become a normal Tin Widow regular and avoid that month like a plague. P.S. don't be weirded out, the bathroom is in a little bit of a strange area out the inside door and down a hallway, but it's all fine - you'll find it!“
“We came here for some pre-dinner drinks on a Wed night and it was so cozy and festive, and not too busy which was a plus! The bartender was so sweet and gave me lots of tasters before I decided on the Vienna Lager (so good!). The lounge area with chairs and a couch set a great mood to enjoy a couple beers after hitting the Christmas Market. They have the coolest mapping of beers on the wall, honestly so informative to understand what beers come from what family (with specific examples of each one) and what glasses to drink them in. Downtown Tosa was so cute and we look forward to going back!“

“We went for breakfast during the week. The place was clean. People were friendly and the service was excellent. We both ordered the country fried steak and eggs which were very good and plentiful . Eggs were cooked as ordered. We might have ordered differently if the specials were told to us. Only one downside. We went there for a reason that was important to me. In all the news articles the owner said he was going to have fresh Polish sausage on the menu, like the Landmark on K.K. I asked about the Polish sausage on the menu. And like every restaurant we go to that claims they have Kielbasa I have to ask what color is your Kielbasa. After getting stupid looks I ask is it reddish or grey like bratwurst. Well they did not have fresh polish , claiming that they can't get it. Told them they can't swing a dead cat without hitting a butcher shop in Milwaukee that makes Kielbasa. The word Kielbasa means sausage not "smoked" also suggested they call Usingers. All that being said we will go back and keep asking for Polish sausage“

“I feel compelled to leave a review, especially after reading Travis' negative review. Leaving a 1-star review because somewhere didn't hire you? You're just proving the point that you're immature and likely a poor employee. I would say At Random made the right decision.Anyway... This is possibly my favorite bar of all time. The cocktails, the ice cream, the ambience, the music. All of it is perfection. I'm not local, so when I am in the area, At Random is an absolute must. It's so dreamy and I can't wait to go back again.“

“We were just going to stop in here for a quick drink as we passed through town, but we had so much fun talking to Nick and the customers that came in, we stayed for a couple hours. Him and his wife created this bar from their own collection and it’s definitely worth the time to stop by if you were in to Tiki at all! We tried three different drinks off of their menu, and they were all delicious! You can’t go wrong.“

“Food and service were phenomenal. We had the brussel sprout appetizer which was deep fried with honey and pistachio which was slightly too oily. For the entrees; the steak was perfectly cooked and I couldn't get enough of the poule with herbs and house made Cesar dressing. My wife got the duck entree, which was cooked medium rare, kept its gamey flavor while capitalizing on the fat with a veggie puree backdrop. The suggested cocktails for each entree were excellent and paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered. We capped off the evening with the bread cheese dessert and split a tawny port. Awesome experience overall, and on Valentine's Day to boot! An absolute gem on the east side. Upscale protein at mid range prices. If you're in Milwaukee, make your way to The Original!“

“If you come here knowing what to expect, and are willing to embrace the quirks, you’ll love it. It’s an old bowling alley, the restrooms remind me of my old elementary school, and it can be kind of musty. But they take great care to make the perfect pour over, have bourbon barrel aged coffee beans and delicious cold brew, and my favorite - a Cold (Brew) Fashioned, which tastes remarkably like an old fashioned cocktail but is a coffee drink, so good.“
“This place is awesome! We were lucky enough to do a tour with the owner and ordered a round of drinks. The tour was super informative, and he was funny to boot! The drinks were to die for, and we went home with a bottle of their brandy, their rye, their chai liquor, and their bloody mary vodka. ? The atmosphere was such a cool vibe as well!“
“This is a fairly small space and things are cozy, but the ambiance is wonderful ?. Low key but very detailed, I found myself walking (carefully) around and looking at the details. We ordered small plates as appetizers, and they were fantastic and arrived quickly. The large plates took a fair bit longer to arrive, but all of us cleaned our plates. Seriously, my tiny sister actually scraped her plate clean with her fork and knife. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Prices for food were pretty high, though cocktail prices were a good deal.Vegetarian options: Butternut squash small plate was insanely delicious“

“Place is so nice for a date night or to hang with a group of friends, Drinks were amazing, we ordered the chicken lemon meatballs for appetizer, I loved them, my boyfriend found them mid but said the sauce was good, My Bf ordered the rigatoni a la vodka, the noodles were slightly over cooked but the sauce was amazing!!!! I ordered the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and it was so crispy and flavorful, the spaghetti was actually really good too! We topped it off with a pineapple cheesecake for dessert and it was honestly so creamy and good. Our server Gabrielle was amazing and very attentive. We will be back to try the pizza next!!“

“Matt is one of the best bartenders in the city.If you’re not stopping in here just because their cocktails are fire or their environment is cozy and kitschy, then you’ll likely want to stop for their great specials like Wednesday Mules. The $5 mezcal mule and the Kentucky mule are favorites of mine. Also, they have plenty games for you to play with friends. As well as a nice big patio for the summer. You can bring food to eat here. Belair is across the street.“

“I was introduced to this super cool coffee shop through a Yelp event and, for that, I am super grateful. It's a coffee bar with a large indoor space - lots of tables on the main floor and there's a second floor with additional seating as well. In addition to coffee and snacks, they have a bar with really good drinks, pizza, and sandwiches. We stopped by here after a date night at Glassnote next door for a bite to eat before we met up with a few friends for more drinks. We got a margherita pizza, which took about -25 minutes to get to us. You would think that for a coffee place, the food would be mediocre, but that is NOT at all the case! The pizza had a really nice thin crispy crust. The sauce was full of flavor and the olive oil on top was *chef's kiss*. The cheese was sparse (like a true Margherita), but the whole pie was easily one of the better pizzas I've had recently! They also had a live band when we stopped by, which added a very cool vibe and for a Saturday evening, it was super busy with all kinds of people - some socializing, some working. We didn't imbibe at this visit, but have had their espresso martinis before and they are truly top notch and I highly recommend!“

“It's my second time being here. We went in earlier than expected and they allowed us to adjust our reservations for 6. Service was good and so was our server. The drinks were decent (could be a tad better). Plenty of booze in them though! My custom pizza was excellent. Highly recommend. Clearly fresh ingredients. Definitely will go back.“

“Had been wanting to try Pufferfish at Hotel Metro for a while! It was clearly marked how to find it inside the hotel and loved the entrance as you go up another set of stairs to get to the bar (but does have a lift for accessibility). I enjoyed my drink, got the Tropic Bird, and all of the live plants and varied seating options. I would only love to see it a bit darker in there (especially the side room) as that is what I love about tiki bars but overall enjoyed my experience! Was a perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink and would like to return in summer for the rooftop.“

Amazing food, superb service and great atmosphere!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“

“This is a unique drinking establishment for Walker’s Point, or what some people call the Fifth Ward. The current trend calls for a craft brewery, an independent distillery, an ersatz gourmet restaurant, or a place left over from the clandestine 1980s or 1990s. Breaking that template, Wall Street is a black owned, sultry cocktail bar with the sounds of “sweet soul music” filling the handsome space. Milwaukee may be growing up, accepting its diversity and realizing it can be urbane without losing its roots. That beer and a shot town may be long gone.Looking like more like a model from Paris or New York City, the proprietor Sharisse, named the bar after her mother who taught her finance and how to use economic investment to further yourself in a competitive world. Sharisse’s presence adds class and panache to the Wall Street Stock Bar. Less of a South Side bar, and more NYC or Paris, the Wall Street offers an array of delicious mixed cocktails and tasty bites to eat. Helping to tend bar, Naomi greets you with her bubbly personality and a ready smile, making everyone feel welcomed. Prices are a little higher than the typical corner tavern, but Wall Street pays off with a sophistication lacking from most places in Milwaukee. It reminds me of when Elsa’s on the Park first opened, breaking the mold in the Cream City, bringing Karl Kopp’s vision of a cool and hip Milwaukee to fruition.Go to the Wall Street Stock Bar and support the “new Milwaukee.” It isn’t all bar dice and dem and dose anymore.“

“First timer , Nadia was great felt very inviting soon as we were seated. Great atmosphere, I had a delicious vegetarian dish portabella steak , mashed potatoes and spinach very well seasoned and a tasty cocktail. 10 out of 10 hands down , will be returning soon!!!Vegetarian options: There are a few dishes vegetarians will be satisfied with, the only thing I would change is better labeling the portabella steak entree, some might mistake it for a steak with mushrooms because when I ordered, I was asked did I know it was vegetarian dish?“

“Drinks were really unique and was a fun experience. You can add candy to your drink and choose what alcohol to add. Staff was knowledgeable about good combinations. Some of the drinks were not combined well, and were really sweet. The shortcake was good, though Graham cracker got stuck in the straw a lot.“

“The architecture on the first floor of this building is absolutely breathtaking, creating a very elegant and refined atmosphere. “enjoyed our meal here today. Faith was our server and she was fantastic. She made good recommendations on not only items to try but also how to eat them. We had the xiao long soup dumplings, potstickers, shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef, steamed Shao Mai, japchae, Miso Ramen.“
“This is a sweet little (and I mean little) spot! It’s quite literally a bar in a vault. I’m not sure you’ll find a smaller bar in Milwaukee. We were lucky enough to nab the table of a couple that didn’t show up for their reservation. The drink menu is very unique and fun - there are packed with more ingredients than normal. We especially enjoyed the Singapore Sling Type Beat. They do change up their menu. It can be loud due to the nature of it being a tiny room, so maybe don’t bring a first date here. Max occupancy is 11 so make a reservation beforehand.“
“Really great atmosphere, perfect Wisconsin bar. I especially love going on Sunday afternoons during happy hour where you do a pull tab for every drink to potentially get discounts! This bar is dog friendly (and cat friendly lol) - just make sure your pets are well socialized and calm before bringing them in. No food available but you can bring your own, just make sure to bring some to share!“
“Let me ask you this question.. where can you go to a bar that provides you cold fresh drinks and the opportunity to buy previously owned goods at an amazing deal. I left with a solid buz and a sweet star Jean flannel. Can you ask for more? Honestly no. I hear they have karaoke. I can't wait to come back and rock some Kelly Clarkson. Cheers!“

“I heard from a couple people about the fish fry here, so me and my friend stopped here a week ago to try it out. My friend got there before I did and was able to hold a seat for me and ordered a a double vodka lemonade right away. Our bartender Raphael was super laid back and overall a good egg. They hold your cards to if you're running a tab which is nothing out of the norm when it comes to a bar, but because I didn't have cash on me at the time I had to ask for my card back because I was informed that I would need it to place an order at the kitchen for food. This was a first for me to go a kitchen window to do an order but it was not a big deal for us. Now if you do pay with your card, there's like a $2 or $3 fee so just a heads up. I went with the 2 piece fried cod with french fries and my friend did the same but with the potato pancakes. We didn't wait long before we received our order and I was ready to dig in. The fries were nicely reasoned and received a nice amount with the order. The fish was flaky, crispy and with a squeeze of lemon and dash of salt it was pretty good. I did see there other specials they had for other food items and would love to try in the future. But overall not a bad place and wished I would've stopped here sooner.“

“My friends and family brought me to this bar on a very quiet night. The folks working were absolutely wonderful and friendly. They took care of us quickly and even changed the televisions to a game that I was interested in, while others were probably not. There was plenty of seating available that night, but I'd assume that most will gladly stand when the bar is packed. I always enjoy these comfortable, no pressure type of locations, you will not get a dirty look walking in as an outsider, you would be welcomed in and I would assume after a couple hours you will leave having had great conversations and meeting some very friendly Milwaukee residents. I'm sure I'll be back and to find these locations literally tucked in between homes in a quiet neighborhood is what makes Milwaukee special.Parking: You are in a neighborhood, so parking is shared with the residents“
