“We spend our summers in the St. Germain area and have tried many restaurants and pubs in the surrounding towns. We have not found an eatery in the area that has better food than Marli's bar. And I mean consistently good food. We have been going there for about 8 yrs. and yet to be disappointed with our meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The owners, Mark & Lisa, and all the employees are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and efficient. Can't say enough about them. I highly recommend trying Marli's Bar.“

“Went with a small group of people for dinner. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived shortly afterwards to take our drink orders. The menu has a variety of food that would please all eating types. Specifically I was there for the pizza. The pizza exceeded my expectations and is now my new favorite place for pizza in the Northwoods! Everyone raved over their food and it was an enjoyable experience overall with fantastic service and “classic up north” atmosphere!“

“First time going to Sayner Pub so we have nothing to compare it to with the former owners' food. The pizza was outstanding. It is thin crust and cut into squares which just so happens to be my preference. If you like thicker or doughy crust, this isn't for you. Topping were generous and the whole thing cooked perfectly. The blue cheese salad had an unusual mix of toppings, including cranberries and a snack mix, but it totally worked and was delicious. The others in our party really enjoyed the steak sandwich and taco special. Although I did not try their food, I'm knocking a star for using store bought premade taco shells. That's just blasphemous! Service was efficient and pleasant without hovering.“

“I don’t usually care to review one time visits but I will be back to this place. The hostess and rest of the staff were extremely pleasant this place was suggested by a local for their Wednesday night specials and we were not disappointed. I’m not sure if they make their own sauces but it sure tasted like they did and they were delicious!! Beer on tap and great wings say less right?“

“I've been coming here for years. Amazing fish fry and the German potato salad is a must have. The owners are so great always remember me when I come in sometimes it can be months before a get back up north. “Typical up north bar and restaurant BUT with vegan options!!! They have a veggie black bean burger and vegan chicken strips. When I asked for a dairy free dressing option it was clear the server actually read all the ingredient options instead of just picking one. Massively appreciate them catering to dietary restrictions- not common to find vegan options up here!“
