“Normally, this is not a bad place, but this day it was awful. Maybe not enough staff or ? I ordered online and they told me 20-30 minutes. I got there at the 30 minute mark and they said it would be another 30-40 minutes. I told them I would wait. That’s where things went crazy. The next two people that came in went nuts canceling their orders and then this woman came in calling them the f word at least 5 times. Not sure why everything was so late but it was not good. Received my order 70 minutes after ordering, this was summer 2023. Today is 11-14-23 have been back here 10 times since the bad review in summer. Always good now.“
“Shea is a great face for this establishment. The employees make this place. The pizza, which is thin crust, beats every other businesses and the pizza fries are amazing also. Only open for dinner time, but worth the wait. The 1919 root beer is a perfect addition to the meal and unique to Sam’s Pizza served there or to go.“

Excellent prices.I'll admit having never been to this restaurant before that it's not clear where to go to find out where to go for seating. However, in defense of the staff it was very busy with multiple parties and lots of carry-out orders were going out when we came in. They more than made up with the cleanliness, friendly service, and quality of the food.We went here because of all the fantastic reviews and it was all true for sure. By all means stop here if you can.“
“It is a family owned restaurant just off highway I-39 in Mosinee Wisconsin.The food is awesome and nice variety on their menu.Service there is outstanding and friendly.They were very busy as usual yet there was no waiting.Made for a very enjoyable dinner for us.May I also add I have been there for breakfast and lunch a few times also and have never been disappointed in the food or the service.“

“The food and service here are both good. The waitress was attentive and food tastes wonderfully homemade but be aware of their policies for credit card fees and charging for every refill on soda. I wish places would tell you that before they serve you. We could’ve been ok with one soda, and saved $2.50 plus extra money in a credit card fee! We are far less likely to make this part of our regular restaurant rotation now.“
“My wife and I went there for an early dinner on a Saturday they were not busy which we we prefer. We both had the BB burger with homemade fries it was all very delicious I love that the burger also has a sausage patty it's very unique. Our waitress was friendly and on top of everything. We will definitely be visiting again. We skipped the appetizer this time but can't wait to try the cheese curds next time. Absolutely would recommend to eat here“

“This place was very clean and open so you don't feel like you're right next to others. They have an event room toward the back for party's. Large selection of tap beer. The pizza and garlic bread were so good. The sauce had no spiciness to it which I like because I'm sensitive to that. The staff were all really friendly. Some of the tables had cute designs made under glass with nickels. I haven't found a pizza joint that I can say I'd revisit in a really long time except for this place. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. They have delivery and small menus you can take home for ordering out.“

“Pizza was of course delicious, but I want to shout out the server who was there when we stopped in mid-afternoon. He was so kind to my 10 year old. She was overwhelmed by the choices, and he patiently named each one and the ingredients to her. She was not thrilled with the idea of pizza before our visit, but as we left she said she'd definitely eat there again. A fan was created today.“
“I was staying in a hotel near Stewart Ave in Wausau and was traveling alone. I really didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant and wanted to go to a place where I could socialize with the locals. Man THIS WAS THE PLACE!! On top of it all I got the Ribeye which they hand-cut in house and I could order as many ounces as I wanted. I went for 18oz. ;). And ate every last bite. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time and I travel all over the world for work and eat at some really nice places…this honestly ranks as one of the top steaks I’ve had. And the clientele was really friendly too! Now I wish I lived in Wausau and not 900 miles away…because this would be my new place to go!!!“

The ingredients are always fresh, the garlic bread is so darn good and the customer service is fantastic! Plus they send awesome coupons to your email. We just ordered a large family pizza with 6 different toppings, garlic bread and cookie dough with a 50% off coupon we got it all for $14.“
“This review has had a long time coming. 3 years ago I used to work just down the street and would stop in at Rocky for lunch 2 or 3 times a week. The manager at the time quickly got to know me, my order, and the way I like it.That same person now runs the whole joint! And although I no longer work down the road, and come in much less often. She still knows me, and my order, and the way I like it!The store is clean, the food is great, the service is great. You'd be hard pressed to find another person as dedicated to her store and her customers as Tia. It's worth making the trip!“
“I stopped in on Christmas Eve morning about 10:30 to get a couple pizzas. The manager was preparing pizzas for the online orders. In the short time I was there he took care of people coming for pick ups, took phone orders, and made pizzas for the walk-in customers. In the half hour I was there he made about 25 pizzas. I was very impressed by his politeness, ambition and a great attitude. Oh and the pizzas were great.“
“First time I've been in the Eagle's Club in years. My brother and I had the beer battered fish fry for lunch. It was delicious, and the fish was battered perfectly and crispy. One of the best fish fries I've eaten in a while. Reasonable drink and food prices, and the bartender was courteous and friendly.“
