“Growing up in the area my parents and I were curious to see The Hub Studio Cafe as we remember going to Laacks when the grocery store was still there. This is a small space designed for small gatherings - I wouldn't recommend bringing your party of twelve for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You order at the counter - I'd love to see this switch to table service but understand that staffing may prevent that. The food was delicious. My mom and I both had the Moo Melt - great blend of flavors, lots of cheese. Possibly a bit too much cheese as it overwhelms the beef. My dad had the Chris' Lunch Sammie and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had a cup of soup and a salad and enjoyed both. We finished our meal with the salted caramel white chocolate chip cookies - don't skip these! Overall this was a delicious meal and we would stop again. I do think the prices are a bit high for the location; lunch (three sandwiches and a cup of soup/salad) for four people without anything to drink besides water was over $60. This is Johnsonville and that seems high for the area. It won't stop us from going back but it is something to be aware of before you go.“

“My husband and I went here for the first time October 2023. The menu had good variety but wasn't overwhelming. The prices were very good! $5.50-7.All employees we kind, helpful and friendly. Bobas were amongst the best I have had and I've had a LOT of bobas at a lot of different places. This store is not close to us and we will be coming back!!“

“We love coming here to have a great home cooked meal! The food is ALWAYS a hit and reasonably priced for how much you get. If you leave here hungry, that's on you. Yes, sometimes the service can be a little slow, but not slow enough for us to stop coming here. Make sure to come early as it fills up FAST!!!“

“Stopped in after a long walk with my Husky. Very accommodating as I was allowed to bring my dog in to order, but of course we ventured out back to sit along the harbor. Perfect way to start the morning… oat milk latte w/vanilla and a freshly salted hard boiled egg. Wonderfully warm morning fire on the back porch!“

Beautiful view from the window and riverfront, overall, despite the cozy feel of the shop the atmosphere cannot be beat by any coffee shop in town. The service was a little slow but truthfully, they just seemed a little understaffed and it seems like every place is that way these days. I would go here again. I thought it was a great place. I like that they had unique menu items and it wasn't your typical eggs and bacon place for breakfast. They had a lot of good juices for breakfast as well.“

“Was my first time here. The people are nice. I ordered a Bahn Mi spicy pork belly and strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was really good. I didn't know what to expect with the Bahn Mi. I took two bites. It was spicy, it was delicious. I never had pork belly. It's really flavorful. The bun was crispy and fresh, as well as the veggies. I also loved the atmosphere - bunches of little tables with friendly chatter and happy servers. “We had some Iced Coffee’s, a hot chocolate, and a couple blueberry muffins. Loved that they play Christian music and are connected to the Sonlight Christian Bookstore next door. Views are awesome and the atmosphere was great. Very friendly staff.Parking: Good sized parking spaces, good access to other stores on this road.“

“This is honestly such a cool place. Everything is evenly priced. There is so much variety to choose from and so much protein/health stuff to add to your drinks. They have an area where kids can play even, which I thought was cool! Definitely gonna be stopping here more often.“
