“I stopped in because of the reviews. I was camping in the area and stopped for a pizza. The food and service was great. I went to pay and didn't realize they didn't take credit cards but had a time machine. I usually carry a debit card also but was left at home. I had som cash but was still short around $8. The bartender/waitresses that was pretty much working alone was so polite said I could just send them the money. Then a man that stopped in to pick up some food paid the rest of my bill and said don't worry about it just pay it forward. It was so nice to see the kindness of strangers. I offen do this so to be on the receiving end was so heartfelt.”
“Visited on a Sunday afternoon. I loved the bar astetic. It had the warm log cabin feel with a little humor in there.Bartender was very fast, funny, and sociable. You could tell she likes her job.My siblings, and I, all got pizzas. A different one each so we could all share. We agreed the BLT one was the best hands down. It was incredible. I even enjoyed it cold the next day. The rueben wasn't far behind. It had great flavor and plenty of topping. The last one we tried/in our ranking was ring of fire. But that's really no fault of the establishment. My family loves spice. The pizza had good flavor but wasn't nearly as spicy as we thought it would be.All in all I am not a pizza person. But I loved these. It's nice to have pizzas without the tradition red sauce plus toppings option. I will absolutely be returning.Parking: Pretty small parking lot. We got lucky and found a spot on the street.Kid-friendliness: They had am arcade looking area.”
“Stuffed ribeye was excellent. Seasoned perfectly and served quite promptly too. Salad bar is pretty small but you'll get what you expect, two soups were apart of it also. Smaller place I can imagine fills up fast but we went on a Sunday at open and were the first in. Worth checking out definitely!”
“Went there after a recommendation and had a wonderful experience. It’s evident the homemade soups, sauces, salad dressings were made with a great deal of thought and care. The appetizers and entrees were all amazing, the specialty muddled cocktails were super yummy! Love the cherries! The staff was super friendly and inviting. The only critique would be the booth lights are a bit bright. We will be back for sure!”
“The perch was delicious and piping hot when delivered to our table. My hubby loved his 12 ounce tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms and onions! Salad bar was amazing, too! We highly recommend!!?”
“Ok. My backstory first.Drive past this place every week, and have noticed it prior to driving past every day for work. Been on the buckelist for some time.We go in today, packed in a great way. All the patrons were very orderly and courteous with new faces coming in. Invited us to the bar to get an old fashioned, and helped us out with the process: You order a drink and say you want to order, and they will find you. We were skeptical, but sure schnitzel, they found us to order. Drinks were great with an amazing offering, and pretty great beer selection as well.Food: Amazing staff handling thr seating, and offering suggestions. Love the sweet tooth integration with orders (have to visit to see what I mean). Spot on Fritters to start?!?!?! Strawberry soup?? Think the cold slurry that is the best part of a strawberry Sunday. Unexpected, but great! Steak was a great cut and prepared exactly how I ordered- chef recommendation. My wife got the perch, which was light and amazing as well. To finish, we got the pistachio cheesecake. What. The. Heck. Amazing. VERY well done- kudos to the female chef that was on the edge thinking it was too sweet, from what we heard...Been on the buckelist for some time, glad we stopped and will be back.Thank you folks, and CHEERS!”
“First time eating at Paula's pub and grill. The food was amazing, I had their prime rib. I asked for medium rare. It was more towards the medium to medium well, however it was very tender, very juicy and packed full of great flavor , by far one of the best prime ribs i've ever had . Customer service was almost too good if makes sense. Someone was checking on us every few minutes which could be a nuisance to some. However, they were very polite. Just wanted to make sure we have everything we want at all times or drinks being refilled at all times. After we were done eating but gentlemen who I would assume runs the bar ask my daughter if she would like a treat, he took her Joe basket of candy and allowed her to pick out whatever she wanted. I thought that was amazing and very kind. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because although it's winter it was a little colder inside then we liked. But overall Paula's pub and grill was amazingKid-friendliness: Before arriving I did call to make sure I could have my child with me who is under the age of 10 The lady that answered the phone told me I could once arrived. We sat down and that gentleman who again I assume runs. The bar came up to me and had a nice little chat about how they're welcoming to children even though it's set up more towards a bar then a pub and grill. They do have seating in the back for dining.”
“The sandwich and coffee where amazing. Won't go too often as the prices were a tich high for a breakfast sandwich. But taste is so good. Friendly staff. Very clean and cozy place.”
“Clean, beautiful space inside a community church. There is a cafe, plenty of seating, you can bring your own food, and the kids can easily play within eyesight. There is also an outdoor playground. We love coming here.”
“We are not from a Hilbert, so we asked a local where they’d suggest for a late lunch. This was 6 to 9 months ago, and the local suggestion did not disappoint. We came back again recently and the sandwiches we had were better than regular bar food and the people who were working there (or owned the place?) were super welcoming & friendly both times. Keep in mind it’s better than average sandwiches, but not a fancy steak place. We’ll be back”
“Hilde always takes care of me and my annoying gluten free needs. Usually something available in the hot food section but if not she'll create a tasty lettuce wrap for me. Bbq ribs are my favorite.”
“Our first time here. Very nice bar. Looks to be all remodeled with lots of room. Drinks? were good and waitress was very nice. Food was delicious and hot. We'll be back again for another Friday night fish dinner ?”
“The food was great! I had an Italian Beef and it was actual real beef not the thin stuff, it was the best Italian Beef I have ever had!! The service was great as well! Will definitely go back.”
“Great food and service. If you have a need for a party, this is your go to place. They'll try to honor every request. Great place to watch sporting events top.”
“Have eaten here 3 times and each time was fantastic. The last time I brought my husband and he said it was amazing too and the best Mac and Cheese he's ever had.”
“Good food, nice place, bathrooms needs a update. Owner should greet his customers even if he is busy, say hi and I will be right with you, it will keep us coming back. He is a nice guy.”
“Good and creative food, especially the tater tot nachos! However, upon walking in, it was a noticeable weird, unwelcoming atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Wished to see more vegetarian friendly options besides a few sided and asking for no meat (without remarks from servers) :)”
“Wow!!! Great service and delicious food (bring your appetite). The servings are more than satisfying. Breakfast today was the veggie omelet and hubby had French toast. Omelet was prepared to perfection with no skimping on the cheese. French toast saturated with egg, moist inside, slight crunch on the outside. A must stop!”
“This was our first time at The Outpost. We had just completed a visit to the local state park and wanted lunch. The 3 of us shared a Reuben Flatbread, a CBR Flatbread and sweet potato fries. Food was delicious. So was the dark beer. The service and atmosphere were great. We will be back the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!!!”
“Didn't try any food but they only have a small fryer and grill so that's not what you come here for anyway. But the drinks are strong the staff is awesome, great meeting you Morgan!! And the atmosphere is that perfect up north old school dive bar type. The kind of place all of us 50 year old plus people grew up with in the midwest. Excellent place to get a drink, play some cards or dice and bark at the moon a bit.”
“Ate this pizza as a kid, worked there in high school, and have helped my family run it over the past few years! I eat a ton of pizza, not just my own families, and I can honestly say this is the best take-and-bake pizza around! Ignore the 1 star reviews (*cough cough* @Tons of Fun reviewer), this place is 6-star! You walk in, and immediately will be greeted by the owner herself, or a local Menasha High Schooler!”
“Excellent place. Best crullers I have ever had, wonderful crunchy texture which is half the experience. They did something kind of weird though to the chocolate crullers now by putting a frosting on the top???? Oh well I'm glad I don't do the chocolate. Very friendly efficient staff......GREAT cake donuts.”
“Tess & her breads are Fabulous! I've been ordering from In With the Good for 2+ years now, since we moved here, and went looking for healthy local eats. Her sourdough is the best!!”
“If you like a relaxed atmosphere, this bar is for you. It truly is a diamond in the rough for menasha. They have darts, a pool table upstairs that is separate from the bar (my favorite part), pull tabs, giant jenga and a very nice outdoor patio. The bartender is great as well.”
“Classic Wisconsin Supper Club. Stiff drinks, great salad bar and outstanding entrees. If you didn't know it was there you'd drive right by it, the only indication of the deliciousness inside is the consistently full parking lot. Sure, there are a lot of supper club options in the area, do yourself a favor and make Roepke's your regular stop.”
“Just like family. Great staff. The owner makes it worth the trip. Unlike any bar I've ever set foot in (age 50). Weekly leagues, raffles, charity events. Don't miss out.”
“I have always wanted to stop here while driving back and forth to Lake Winnebago for fishing. This is a quintessential WI bar. Comfortable vibe, friendly people, and very clean for an older place. My hubby and I split the chili. It definitely tasted homemade and had elbow noodles, which I like in chili. The burgers were really good! They don't have all the fancy toppings but seasoned well and juicy, yum. We each had a pint of Miller Lite and the bill was only $22! I'll definitely be back!”
“I stopped at Bobbers after going to Wieting funeral home. A co worker of mine passed away, and that was his hangout. I've never been there before but I can see why he stopped there. All of his friends that I met were so nice! The owner and bartenders were awesome as well! IAlso got a chance to see people I had worked with years ago. If I ever get in that neck of the woods again,I will definitely stop in again! Thanks for your great hospitality!Pam Leopold”
“The bartender LINDSEY is THEE BEST bartender EVER! She was absolutely awesome, friendly, funny, beautiful, and makes the best drinks. She absolutely deserves to be paid top dollar and work more. She made our experience a memory we will never forget. And enjoyed every minute being there with her as our bartender. We will be there every Sunday just to see more of Lindsey. We definitely need more bartenders like Lindsey in this world. She was absolutely amazing. Hands down LINDSEY... she's the best!!!!”
“Found this place on sunday drive. We are from Neenah and will definitely be back. Delicious made from scratch menus. Lots of GF options. Delicious matcha latte!! When a place is busy you know its good!Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options too.Kid-friendliness: Private booths.Wheelchair accessibility: One level.”
