Then the brunch food was amazing. We got him a single pancake and it was probably the best pancake I have ever had. So much food the wife and I had to bring it home. If you don’t go here you are missing out. Thank you to the entire staff, especially the one sweet lady back/kitchen that was so sweet to our boy!!”

“Large, roomy space with a very good assortment of TV viewing. The bartender was incredibly sweet and attentive. My hubby ordered the rueben..said it was the best he has ever had, very tender. I had the Totchoes (nachos with tots instead of chips) and it was delicious! Beware though..you can feed 4 people with one order of them! Oh! And the bathroom had a bidet option in the stall I used..only all the buttons to operate it are in chinese. It was fun to try and figure it out! Theres some video games and such too to help keep the kids entertained if you bring them for lunch or an early dinner. Don't forget you can get liquior and bait there too.”

“We have always loved the beer at lionstail. They now have in-house pizza, which is yummy. The staff has definitely gone down hill. We have been going since they opened and never had unfriendly service. Tonight was different. We had a giftcard we just got this past January. It was slightly bent. The bartender couldn’t get it to work and told us to go to Wauwatosa to use it instead. In the plus side the owners are still great and have said they will replace the giftcard for us.”

“Check in at 5.10 am .. right way give the door and loading Is fast with in hour .. load secure with airbags and forklift driver putt loadlocks on load .. when loading is done he come with paperwork in truck and pull forward to install the seal on trailer… inside weight scale .. my gross is 80040 lb .. Be safe drivers !”

“We were visiting out of town as my daughter had a Halloween Party there. It doesn't look very big from the outside but don't let looks deceive you. It's two sided so there is plenty of room. It's like what you would call a corner bar in Milwaukee. We were lucky we arrived a little early because by 8:00 it was packed and there wasn't a seat in the house. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. We did not feel out of place from being out of towners.”

“Messed up my pizza two times. First said no pinions, put on red onions. I again Stated no onions, they remade it with green, I noticed right away. They asked if I would like to keep it and give it to someone I knew knowing we wouldn’t eat it. Gave it to the in-laws. They remade it for the third time correctly. The team was doing a great job working together under pressure as it was very busy and most likely embarrassed for the mistake. Took my name and next pizza was free. They did a great job and made it right. Stand up service!”

“I've stayed at this hotel twice but never visited the restaurant on-site. A late flight in and a busy day ahead left me with limited choices, and I decided to check it out.The waitress/bartender was super helpful in answering questions I had concerning items on the menu.I decided on the pretzel bites and teriyaki chicken wings. She brought the pretzel bites out first, and although the beer cheese was not the best I've had, it was good.At the moment, my wings were brought out. I was so excited I told my husband who was on the phone with me that I would call him back because my favorite dish had arrived.I pushed my pretzel bites to the side and immediately dug into my wings to be immediately disappointed. They were cold! I reached down to the lower portion of the basket and tried another one, but it was also cold.The taste of the wings were amazing, but I could not eat them cold, so I asked them to be sent back. By the time my waitress got back to me for me to send them back, her explanation was that I had let them sit too long before eating. Hold up! What did you just say? I cook wings at home, and my family has to wait at least 5 mins before eating to prevent burning their mouths! I literally tried to eat these as soon as they were set before me!She was kind and removed the charge from my ticket but politely let me know that they were hot when she brought them out because they were personally cooked by their manager. I declined to comment that managers make mistakes, too.All good things start from leadership. Perhaps they need to implement corrective actions based on their customer complaints. Here's your sign.”

“What a treat it was to eat and drink at the Chophouse this past week! The friendly staff catered to our meeds and wants with ease and professionalism. I found the restaurant to be clean and neatly appointed with a wonderful painting of Randall, the Cow, who really added a sense of home for me. The spicy strawberry margaritas were expertly crafted and so tasty, as was the huge pretzel and deep dried olives. If you are visiting the Appleton, WI area, I highly recommend eating at Wissota Chophouse located in the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites near the Appleton airport!”

We live in WISCONSIN we’re known for old fashioned’s!!!! That along with slow service- even for drinks won’t make this our first stop or even our second.”

“Been coming to cranky pat's for 30 years. Was in there today with my wife around 3pm. We were the only customers there. One waitress was on the phone with a customer and 2 others were in the area. We sat there for 20 minutes and not one ounce of service. A couple of walk bys but no service. Doesn't the help work together or just ignore customers? Got tired of no service for 20 minutes so we got up and went elsewhere. Nice way to lose lifelong customers........we won't be back.”

“Hands down the best margaritas! We had the tuna app and pork nachos and they were beyond amazing. The balance of citrus, and savory on the tuna was 5stars. The pork nachos were smoked just enough, not to much to be over powered. The host/ bartender were so attentive, then our server was knowledgeable and showed us pics of food which I loved! “Biked the kids to get 99c cones and the lobby was closed due to low staffing… I thought we’d try to walk thru the drive-thru so I didn’t let the kids down with no ice cream and as we walked towards the drive thru line, an employee came and told us she’d help us on their front patio!… she took our cone order, delivered them out to us, didn’t charge us and gave us coupons to return for more cones another day! 🍦 She was so sweet when she had reason enough to be stressed with a full drive thru line at the lunch hour, low staff and people trying to dine in for the brief moment she came out to help us.
