“Quality distilled spirits and cocktails. Live music some nights. Some light snacks on offer as food. A great place to start your evening on Lake Ave or just chill for a little bit. I always strive to come here when visiting family in the state.“

“I stopped at DCC on my way to work today and had to share my experience. A song had just started on the radio when I pulled up out front. By the time I had turned off my car, gone in, ordered, paid, waited and got back into my car…the same song was STILL playing! And it’s not even that long of a song. I don’t go to DCC that often but they have always been consistently good and efficient. Something you don’t often find in a local coffee shop. Thank you!“

“UPDATE (April 2024): Prices for new menu items have crept up slightly, like everything else. Weekend specials (Drops) are worth trying: Korean Fried Chicken sammy, chopped cheese, and a corned beef Irish burger so good I came back here to update my review. Food quality and service remains high, as with all Duluth Grill restaurants. And Paradox is starting to get busy, standing room only on weekends even in Duluth's off season. This place is going to be strong in Lincoln Park for a very long time.Fun, laid-back vibe appealing to the Lincoln Park community and tourists alike. Clean, well-lit street art aesthetic and a full bar. Condensed menu offering mouthwatering smash burgers at a good price.Pictured: Shifty $9.99 M-Th 9-11 p.m. special burger, fry, and tap beer (Bent laget or Hamms) available by request only. Vikre Gin Gin Mule.“
“Our favorite place to visit in Duluth! Old jail holding cells converted into a speakeasy and supposedly haunted. Enter through the back alley, head down the stairway underground to walls of stone and dim candle-lit tables. The vibe is awesome and the drinks ridiculously good! Visit close to Halloween and order the Fall Finish.“
“We came in on a recommendation from a friend. Bethany was fantastic! So friendly and personable. She went above and beyond in suggesting great places in Duluth. Absolutely a gem! The atmosphere was phenomenal and the drinks were beyond delicious!“
“They’ve always had out of this world cocktails, but have you had their WINGS?! I’m not even a wing person and I cant wait for more. 3/23/24- they have wings Weds through Sat.Anything on the special board is worth trying. The daiquiri is perfection.“

“Love this place! The food was wonderful. We started off with the Tempura Fried Cauliflower. I loved the aioli sauce, and the whole dish was very tasty. We both ordered the Coconut Curry Rice Bowl with Chicken and it was sublime. I practically licked the bowl it was so good! We ordered a bottle of cabernet, which was decent but not great. Of course, after the first glass, it tasted just fine. :) For dessert we shared a very dense and very delicious piece of chocolate cake with whipped cream. So good! Definitely a place to come back to!Vegetarian options: Probably 75% of the menu appeared to be vegetarian or vegan. But everything we tried was delicious.Dietary restrictions: There were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, also dishes that were gluten free.Parking: It's in downtown Duluth so parking can be iffy depending on when you go.“

“Got corktown deli delivered to my hotel room when the pizza shop kept canceling, and they delivered fast. The pickle fries are tasty and not overly greasy. The sauce could use a little kick or something, it was bland, but the pickles make up for it.The angry Ruben with house made pastrami is fantastic. Just enough kick and deliciously messy. The chips are great too.Definitely a good choice for an easy lunch. I’m doing the roast beef later because I’m stuck working from my room. It looks awesome.“

“Enjoyed a great lunch here today. I tried the rendang (beef stew), and the meat was so tender. Out of this world flavors. Others in our group tried the sate and Mama Mus curry and also really enjoyed their meals. We had a great and attentive server as well. I can't wait to go again.“

“Cute restaurant. We stopped by here for breakfast. Everything was fine overall. We even got an iced latte. Quite pricey for their portions on certain dishes unfortunately. Their eggs benedict come with a small cup of fruits for $16-17. Not filling. Didn’t think it was worth that much, but rather $10-12 since the benedicts were kinda basic. We have had eggs benedict many other places and they were better and less pricey. We’d probably come back to try other items though.“

“I had the shrimp ? basket with fries, Cole straw, Texas toast ? and a tall blue moon ? beer ? with my dinner ? it was perfect and reasonable prices, too. I went there for a get tonight with coworkers. we travel to different restaurants around the twin ports area ? I will definitely go back there someday again in the future ?“

“The cheese tray was lovely, but over priced for the amount that is on it. I would buy one more often if the price was more reasonable, but it was wonderful for a special occasion. The outdoors seating is beautiful and there is heaters and even blankets to sit on. Nice touch.“
