“This hole in the wall right on the highway was an excellent place to stop and eat. It looks very small from.the outside but there was plenty of seating. They have very good appetizers and burgers. It is surprising walking in as has a little bit of a beach theme on the inside. Great place to eat in the area.“
“My husband and I met at Shortys in 2020 and were devastated when they closed shortly after. We use to say we’d never get to go back to the place we met. But when Bucktails moved into the building we couldn’t be happier. My husband is a huge fan of American food, and I could eat Mexican food everyday, all day. Having both on their menu, we found our new favorite spot. When we got married, we knew we wanted to celebrate where we met, and Bucktails was more than happy to make that possible. We had a party of roughly 50 people who were ALL impressed by the food and service. Staff was amazing to work with and were so great the entire night. When food ran out, they were quick to throw more in the oven for us and bring it out. They had had pool, darts, and karaoke. Everyone had such an amazing time. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you Dee and everyone at Bucktails. We will never forget our incredible wedding celebration with you!!“
“We have always liked this restaurant. The booths, chairs and tables are decorated with Authentic Mexican craftsmanship. Mexican murals on the walls. Food is good to excellent. We like the Chili poblemo. Complimentary chips & salsa as you write for the main course. Genuine Mexican people at your service.This is a good family that experienced a tragedy some years back. “This taco Johns really be superior than all other ones. I drive an hour & 45 minutes for these scrumptious tacos. The cheese roll up comes out beautifully sizzling. The hard shell tacos are always warm & the cheese is melted perfectly every time.“
“Best liquor store in the Twin Ports for whisky and beer. I'm sure the wine selection is the best too, but I don't want nuthin' to do with that. I also can get my Laguinitas Hop Water and Liquid Death consistently here.If you want it, Keyport has it...or they can order it. I always reach out on Facebook messenger to the Keyport page and someone usually replies and tells me that they "ordered it, be here Tuesday." If you run into Nick there, he'll give you some great recommendations, too.Let's talk about the whisky and bourbon selection here. INSANE. They consistently get Buffalo Trace (it's still gone the same day they get it), including my prize 1.75 liter for a STEAL. And then there's Chris, who helped me get my hands on my first bottle of Eagle Rare. This review isn't about Eagle Rare, but let's say that it lives up to the hype for me...and is the best bourbon I've had to date. Thanks Chris...you are the man.
