“I love this A&W! I've lived here for over 30 years and when I want a taste of nostalgia and some daily drafted root beer, A&W will always be my choice! They've got a lot to offer on their menu but I'm a sucker for the Papa Burger and a Coney dog with chili cheese fries and a root beer float! Now that's a meal! I've only had a problem a few times when they were super busy and understaffed. That's not their fault in my eyes. Besides, I know what I'm getting for food and I know it'll be good. So, I ignore the minor inconveniences. Any other time, it's business as usual. I never have to wait long to make my order or for the food. I was so glad that they didn't close there doors after Covid. This A&W is a staple in this town and one of the longest running independently owned A&W's that's left in existence! So, please go patronize this business and enjoy some good food and great root beer!“
“The only thing is that because this place is so affordable and the food is really great unfortunately this place gets insanely busy. Also the place is so very small that on its busiest times of the evening you are elbow to elbow with people. So don't be surprised if you have to wait 15 minutes up to 30 minutes to get your order taken for either food or a beverage which is a bummer.“

“My husband and I met at Shortys in 2020 and were devastated when they closed shortly after. We use to say we’d never get to go back to the place we met. But when Bucktails moved into the building we couldn’t be happier. My husband is a huge fan of American food, and I could eat Mexican food everyday, all day. Having both on their menu, we found our new favorite spot. When we got married, we knew we wanted to celebrate where we met, and Bucktails was more than happy to make that possible. We had a party of roughly 50 people who were ALL impressed by the food and service. Staff was amazing to work with and were so great the entire night. When food ran out, they were quick to throw more in the oven for us and bring it out. They had had pool, darts, and karaoke. Everyone had such an amazing time. I can’t recommend this place enough!! “My Wife and I have a house in the Twin Cities and a cabin in Bayfield, WI. It is basically a ritual of our to stop at this Culver's on our drive to the cabin. We always love stopping here, partly because the food is always great, but the service is also fenominal every time. We stopped in on 2-15-24 at 6:47, overall ordering was very good, but the younger gentleman who brought our food out really stole the show. He was just soo kind and just a really nice guy. Will certainly continue coming and recommend.“
“This is one of the best flavored burger I have ever had! They know how to make an amazing burger. Beer cheese and bacon burger definitely delivered. The baked potato was delicious too. Got to sneak a few bites off the wife’s plate and I was impressed with the taste. The service was excellent. Met us at the door and said sit down anywhere and they were right over to get our drink order. Food came out quick too. Plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend stopping here and if a burger isn’t your thing the different flavors of dogs might be your thing. I know next time I’m in town I’ll be stopping here and having a burger and trying one of the dogs!“
“What can I say, I love this place! Food is always top notch, servers and bartenders are really friendly and they have beer taps for miles! I've enjoyed many items off their menu and have never been disappointed! Here's what I've hade: Cheese curds, Loaded tots, jalapeño bacon poppers, sweet potato fries, Avocado chicken tacos, Blackened fish tacos, One eyed jack burger, West OMG burger and Taphouse burger. “Some of the best customer service in this area! Wish we could clone this staff and send them to all the other restaurants, too. I will say the menu prices are a bit spendy compared to other fast food establishments, but that's more of an issue at a corporate level. Stopped by tonight I was exhausted but I was met by the nicest staff with the best customer service I have gotten from a fast food establishment in awhile. “My daughter and I went through the drive through and ordered. Went to pay and my daughter's card only went partially through and I didn't have my purse with so we told them to just cancel the order and we would come back. The manager with the longer hair came up and paid for our meals. I was sooo embarrassed and he honestly didn't have to do that but we were sooo grateful. “I believe this is one of the better Applebee's around! I've been here many times and have really never had any real trouble. Sometimes, the service is a little off and serving staff isn't always attentive. However, it's a chain restaurant and it goes with the territory. I've never had bad food here. One time, my fries were cold but that's it. There specials and half price apps at 9pm, are a great deal. If you're in the mood for Applebee's, travel to this location. “This hole in the wall right on the highway was an excellent place to stop and eat. It looks very small from.the outside but there was plenty of seating. They have very good appetizers and burgers. It is surprising walking in as has a little bit of a beach theme on the inside. Great place to eat in the area.“
