“Super top notch service as always from the bar keep. Ownership should really be inspired by the (saint? Angel) let's say Mary Poppins of bar keeps. A shot full of sugar help the medicine go down. Its a shame really that the ownership is always off blowing profits on fine wines and linens.“
“Visited at 6pm on Friday night and it was the first time we had ever been there. Food was good. We aren't into the bar scene so we were hoping there would be booths or tables, and there were tables. But everyone there was belly up to the bar, so we felt a little out of place as the only people at a table, but that's no fault of the establishment. Atmosphere was nice, and it's a good looking place. But if you're bringing the whole family there, you might be the only ones sitting at a table. Maybe other reviewers can set the record straight on that. Food was good as was the price.“
“Took a 2hr drive to see my son at college and decided to go here for burgers with him. Pleasantly surprised with our food & prices! I ordered a Rick M burger and he ordered the jalapeño cream cheese burger. Absolutely delicious!! I will be stopping here again!“
“This is a hidden gem in the vast pool of Superior's dive bars. The people are a rougher crowd but if you get to know them you'll find out why this bar is so special. Only complaints are that the employees regularly play the machines, pool, etc. during their shift which not only makes them less focused on their actual jobs causing customers to commonly be ignored; but also makes it so patrons can't play the machines, pool, and other bar games.“
“The Shack was a new stop for us as we come to Superior a few times a year. Of the beaten path, as some would say, The Shack has plenty of room for big groups as well as couples to enjoy a decent meal. The bar setting looked nice as well. The service as timely and accommodation. There were decent selections on the menu and all items were fairly well priced. The smoked wings were very tasty. The nachos were aplenty and flavorful. The Firecracker Wrap was very tasty. And the fries were excellent, especially with the add-on option of Parmesan cheese. Plenty of parking. A nice place to visit if you are in the area.“
“2 words, Pickle Beer! That's right, order yourself a 42 ounce beer of choice and ask for a pickle spear. They'll drop one in, no extra charge! I haven't eaten food here before but have been here many, many times for drinks and good times with friends. They got pool and darts and music. The usual but also a rockin collection of Green Bay Packer stuff all over! Great place to watch the Packers play too but that goes without saying. Of course, being at a bar, you'll have to deal with a few rowdies now and then, the occasional way too drunk guy who wants to strike up a barely coherent conversation with you but it's all good! You're half in the sack anyway and have another fresh pint in your hand! Let loose and have a good time with the locals.“
“I believe this is one of the better Applebee's around! I've been here many times and have really never had any real trouble. Sometimes, the service is a little off and serving staff isn't always attentive. However, it's a chain restaurant and it goes with the territory. I've never had bad food here. One time, my fries were cold but that's it. There specials and half price apps at 9pm, are a great deal. If you're in the mood for Applebee's, travel to this location. “Typical Minnesota bar, pool tables, locals, and a real experience. Looks a lot nicer inside than the exterior gives off. The absolute nicest dive bar bathrooms I’ve ever been in. Drinks were reasonably priced around $5 a drink. This is a place where you could easily become a regular.“

I come into town every few months and these two are very consistent, as a fellow bartender, even when they’re busy, they both give great service and do their job well! “We were there on Saturday 12/16. We had a young gentleman waiting on us (should’ve gotten his name) but we were sitting in a booth near the door (I just want him recognized). It was a Viking’s game day and he was running around and obviously busy.we came in shortly after half time. He maintained a positive and professional attitude! He even chatted with us a bit about the game, and overall the service was phenomenal. He was working so hard! In a time where customer service often lacks due to being short staffed, this young man did amazing!The sweet chili wings were so good I ordered a second to go!“

“Nice little bar, on a quiet side street, friendly barkeeps, great prices for tap beer, the pizza is EXCELLENT, roomy place that has a good sized area of large tables with bar height chairs and a large bar with seating all around. The atmosphere - it's a bar; no frills, typical bar decor, clean restrooms & entire place. Parking lot is a bit limited however there is parking on the street.*recommend!*“
