“Outstanding.  Some of the most outstanding hospitality we've experienced in the Northwoods.  Black Forest Pub & Grille was a real treat tonight.  From the engaging conversation with Collin and Mike at the historic Bar to the vivacious charm of our server Kat - our food and dining experience far surpassed our expectations.  My seared Salmon was perfect and the handmade fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was buttery and creamy.  Make the drive as soon as you can, you'll be glad you did.  Ask for Mike & Kat to enjoy their enthusiasm and Northwoods hospitality.“

“Refreshing to see a very well organized restaurant - friendly staff, super clean, everything had it's place. We sat at the counter with a view into the kitchen area, so we got to see how well they worked together! Food was good - my only complaint is that my Denver omelette had raw, red onion...not sure if they forgot to cook them until it was finished or if that's how they typically serve it - but completely edible, just wouldn't have been my choice. Coffee what hot and my cup was always full. Even with it being the busy Labor Day weekend, we were taken care of and once we were finished, didn't feel like they wanted to push us out. Great place!“

“My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat with my uncle. We ordered a pizza and some cheese curds to come out first. The curds were delicious and the pizza that followed was excellent ??. Every one of the staff was friendly and made for a pleasant dinning experience. The owner greeted us when we entered and took time to visit with us before we left. Highly recommend this place. Look forward to eating here again.“

“Everything off their menu is fantastic ! And for you old fashioned lovers out there , this is a must stop for you !! And bring a boater myself , I have to add this ; they have the best docks to tie your boat up at on the chain ( both sides of the boat lift )“

“The wife and I each had burgers last night. She had the whiskey BBQ and I had a cheese burger. Upgraded to fries, rings and even got curds to taste test. Enjoyed all of it! if we would nitpick...add a pickle spear with your burgers. They just go so well together! We love the ice cream and malts too!“

“Simply the best breakfasts I have ever had. I'm a big, well maybe big fat guy who loves diner breakfasts. Lucy's was a serendipitous finding while visiting Land O Lakes, WI. Hands down the best fried pork steak an gravy I have ever tried. Their biscuits are homemade, eggs fresh, sausage good, and potatoes whether hash or American are all wonderfull. You've got to eat here if you are ever close to Eagle River, WI.“
