Several of our guests were asking what fabulous bakery created this wonderful cake. In fact, there were only 3 pieces left at the end of the event. “Any day is a good day to visit Guanajuato Mix, they have so many yummy options. But, if you’re looking for the best birria (I’ve tried a lot), check them out Fridays or Saturdays. Their special comes with consome and a drink (i love their horchata and they have other agua freaca) They don’t judge if you have to one of the quesabirria tacos before you drive away…I do 😂 see y’all as soon as I’m in town!”

The owner was incredible, anticipated my needs before I even was conscious of them myself. Espresso was perfection, turkey pesto sandwich was everything you want it to be and nothing you don't. The aesthetic and ambience is top notch, prices are reasonable, what more could you want?

Ordered medium done for meat but pretty much raw. Maybe that was my fault and should of ordered med well? Liked the fries a lot as not too salty. Service was GREAT! Somehow my wallet came out of my pants pocket and must've fell on chair seat. When we'd left, server tried tracking us down but we were already on our way. I realized it wasn't on me when I got home so called. They had retrieved it and put it in a safe place until my son picked it up the next am. Honesty and integrity those workers have there. God bless them! ❤”

“I am so grateful for Dr Fiore and his staff today. My registered nurse was Christine I was put right at ease by her and her exceptional care . I couldn't sleep well last night thinking about the procedure today . I was so happy with Christine . You couldn't ask for a better registered nurse. She was able to put my fears at ease because of her compassion. I have never been really good with needles .I was done before I realized it was over. She has a great bed side manner. I got in the surgery room and was met by another exceptional RN named Janet. Janet and Christine are professionals who work very hard at putting patients at ease Dr Fiore! an excellent Pain Management Specialist who specializes in managing people's pain. If I ever I need help in that area again I will see Dr Fiore and his staff. .”

“What a cute little place to stop for a bite for lunch. Traditional deli set-up and atmosphere; order at the counter, find a table, pick-up at the window when your number is called. When finished, take your dish to the waste station and dump and stack.

The young man at the counter was friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable about the offerings of the day. When I went back to the counter after eating to purchase some bakery to take home, the young lady who was now there was also very friendly.

The food is delicious. I had the Reuben with Potato Salad, which also came with a pickle spear. Everything was wonderful. The Reuben was very well balanced without any one ingredient overpowering the others. The corned beef is brisket but sliced thin and stacked, making it easier to eat than those who use a single, thick wedge. The bakery I took home was good, but actually too sweet for me. The flavors were good, but the overload of sugar was too much for me. If you're a fan of sweet sweets, then definitely give it go!”

“Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!”

She took time to talk with me with out an appointment.(I had been to 3 other bakeries and no one would even answer any questions I had with out a appointment) We like red velvet and Melissa made little trials of each red velet option for us to try. She was always prompt to respond to any messages we sent. The day of She delivered to the venue right on time. She truly cares about her customers. We would highly recommend her and mama ducky!”

“Amazing hidden gem. The building has to be one of the oldest in the area. Food is soup, salads, and sandwiches, but all unique and very tasty. Only difficulty is the hours, they are only open until 2pm. Highly recommend checking out this quaint little local restaurant.”

“This is a taco truck that my hubby and I saw and decided to stop and try it out, first we tried the tacos de asada, pastor, lengua y cabeza which it only took one bite to know that this are some of the best tacos we’ve had in a very long time, then we ordered a quesadilla and a torta, the quesadilla de asada was super big with a home made corn tortilla also super delicious and the torta de asada was fantastic, and the people that work in the taco truck are super nice and friendly... over all a fantastic experience. “Been to Rochester Deli many times over the years, mostly for their fish fries. This visit was specifically for bakery items, and that is when I learned that I have apparently been enjoying Periwinkle desserts all along. Their production facility is next door, but the baked goods are sold through Rochester Deli. I also learned that the deli owner’s daughter runs the bakery.

I came in hoping to pick up a few cupcakes and possibly a small round cake. There was only one cupcake option available, a Boston Cream, which did look good. Unfortunately, there were no cakes available, so I struck out there. I did grab a couple of the peanut butter cookies half dipped in chocolate, which are always a hit at my house.

The staff member who helped me apologized for the limited selection, but there was not much they could do.

Overall, I really enjoy their cookies, bars, and cake slices, and I will definitely be back for some of their regular items.”

“I always order ahead to get the deals on the app The one in Pewaukee inside Walmart is the best always the say guy working and he makes the best subs my granddaughter and I say this is the best subway in the area. The one in Delafield is not good they put a ton of lettuce on to hide the fact that they don't use enough meat and not very friendly. The one in Sussex across from Meijer is also horrible the subs never taste as good and restaurant is always a mess all tables dirty and so is the floor do not like this one at all. I highly recommend the Pewaukee one inside Walmart always delicious”

“I was at the Culver’s in Waukesha on Grandview this last Friday evening, it was very busy. I was immediately impressed by the amount of staff that was there ready to serve. This was a young staff, and they were attentive, professional, and proactive in reaching out to customers to see if they had been helped or needed anything. A woman returned with an error in her order, and she was taken care of right away in such a kind and courtesy manner. I believe the associate who helped her was named Jade? Kudos to this Culver’s for providing so many employment opportunities, what appears to be a positive work environment, and to this wonderful staff for providing such great customer service!”

The guy on drivethru, AJ had the headset on taking orders for drivethru, and manning the front counter! From what I could tell there was one guy back on fryers and cooking. There was nice lady named Jeanine (sp?) that made sure all the orders were going out correctly. I had ordered onion rings and they were so busy they forgot to put them down. She was honest with me and told me she would bring them out to me, and she did it herself. They got through all the customers and I didn't here any complaints from any of them. Thanks guys.
