“I can't stop raving about Playa Azul restaurant! Their impeccable servings left me truly satisfied, and the shrimp and octopus dishes were simply amazing. Both my kids loved the tostadas of shrimp & octopus. But what truly impressed me were their spot-on micheladas – a perfect blend of flavors. A definite five-star experience!Kid-friendliness: The owners were very friendly and welcoming us. The atmosphere was perfect for the whole family.“
“Classy, calm country setting, friendly & relaxing atmosphere reminds me of years ago when traditional American values were normal. Excellent menu & food, Best bar drinks anywhere?Great place for family dinning or entertaining a client over business talks.Parking: Always a place to park“
“First visit to House of Embers was Saturday evening. We made a reservation via Google that afternoon. The service was excellent as was the food (group had ribeye steak or chicken and ribs). For a vegetable lover, the medley would be worth the trip on its own.“
“I’m just blown away by this restaurant! The service is better than some 5 stars I have been to. The the food is phenomenal down to the balsamic vinaigrette dressing for my salad, the breadsticks amazing, everything was so fresh and delicious, short rib parppadelle to die for! will be back and bringing my whole family for generations to come hopefully. I highly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic experience.“
“Very nice place to eat, me and my wife went on our anniversary and it was kind of dead which worried me because the food was actually good and the sushi was the best I've had in a long time. I had the eel roll and like I told sunny myself I haven't found anywhere that made a decent eel roll but here it hit it out of the park. Thank you sunny! Great service!“
“What you would expect from a casual dining place in a tourist town. Food was okay. Some good, some not so much. We ordered a trio appetizer. Bruscheta was just basically garlic bread with cheese. Three were 3 coconut shrimp. Those were as expected. Maybe a bit small in size. Crab dip (cold, on purpose) was okay but was not served with enough bread. The first 3 beers my husband asked for were "not available" but on the menu. I ordered a pear martini. Not great. Then I ordered Moscato, very average. I was hesitant to order Jamaican cuisine as we travel there yearly and I had serious doubts about authenticity. I ordered Jamaican beef patties my husband the jerk chicken and pork. Both were actually quite acceptable considering we were at a tourist town in Wisconsin. We ordered Kraft man n cheese for granddaughter. It was literally what it says. Boxed Mac n cheese for $8. But you're aware of that when you order so .... it is what it is. Bill came to $94 for an appetizer, ywonadult entrees, a child's Mac n cheese, two beers, a wine and a martini (without tip). We dined outside as the weather for unseasonably warm. (We are NOT tourists. We live nearby).Kid-friendliness: VERY kid friendly. Sand area with sand toys. Cornhole game for all ages.“
“Great experience! I took my daughter and grandkids there for dinner. We loved the antmos and attention to detail. The waiter was super attentive and helpful. I had the triple seafood dinner. So good. No need to worry about getting Luke warm food when you cook it at your table. We will definitely go back.“
“This is my second meal at Ishnala and it was superb! I had the scallops with vegetables as a side. The cheese spread was excellent although the cracker assortment left a little to be desired. There was a storm the night I went, so was unable to stroll the grounds, but watching the storm made up for it. Get a table by the window if possible. And don’t pass up the (bourbon) Old Fashioned cocktail—it’s the best I’ve ever had. I also purchased a bottle of the Old Fashioned mix to go. Can’t wait to give it to my husband!“
“Food was delicious, service was excellent, and has a great ambience. My friend drinks a lot of water and they never let her glass get below half full. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were amazing! Would recommend to anyone visiting the dells!“
