“Idk his name, but the old guy who always wears the light grey shirt and who’s been here forever, sucks. We’ve had him multiple times and he always messes things up with our order only comes around to get order and place check. First watch itself is great, good food, lovely place, highly recommend. It’s just that one guy that’s terrible.Parking: There’s a lot free on the weekends.”

“Honestly, I rarely do reviews but this dinner was the best so far on our road trip across Kentucky and now West Virginia. We had met Nick who works in the kitchen the day before who gave us the recommendation and he was spot on. Really great food with the correct portions. Cocktails were awesome from Derek who was attentive and super knowledgeable.We would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Charleston area to dine at.I’m not surprised that the chef/restaurant is nominated for a major award.Keep up the great work.”

“Very cute hidden gem! Parking is dicey because it's on a main street. park in the back. They were quite busy but friendly.my mocha Latte was delicious and expertly executed. It was a tad long wait to receive though over 25 minutes but only 3 people working on a busy Saturday they were doing the best they could.lots of food being made also.”

“This place is an amazing treasure with friendly workers. We arrived at the hotel across the street on a rainy night and didn't want to go far. The restaurant next to the hotel got mediocre reviews so we decided to try Barone Brothers which got excellent reviews. Wow. The Great reviews couldn't have prepared us for the amazing toasted Italian sub my husband ordered. The meats were hearty deli slices. The sandwich was cooked to perfection. I ordered a Greek salad. The salad was nice and cold. The mix of veggies was perfection. The dressing was good. Maybe more Italian inspired but it was a perfect compliment to the salad. We would stop off the interstate again specifically to go to this charming little place. It's not fancy. They appear to do mostly a takeout business, but they do have seating. We arrived close to closing time, and were not rushed or made to feel like an imposition at all. They treated us like we were right on time. So friendly..”

“I’m giving this all five stars because from all I can tell this is the best Pizza in Charleston, WV. Not the best I ever - but compared to other cities it’s a 4/5. The service there is great. I got the steak pizza and my friend got one but I forgot which. The horseradish was a bit hinted which was nice because I’m not super into horseradish but I can appreciate what they did with the pizza. They also gave a great selection of beers! If I go back to town I’d come here again.”

I love, owner, Mario’s style of espresso and the gelato is out of this world. I have tried and loved many of their flavors, but recently discovered Cafe Romeo’s toasted marshmallow. “I would give 6 stars if I could. The hot dogs are all unique and have something that everyone can enjoy! Atmosphere is great, with a new section just recently added on that offers better convenience options like chips, pop, gum, etc. and very friendly staff. I can’t recommend this place enough if you work in downtown Charleston and need a quick bite to eat.”

“We had a fantastic time at Barkadas celebrating my mother, father, and mother-in-laws birthdays!Barkadas was great when it came to booking the reservation, giving us their fantastic party table. This was a bit more nestled in on the right, giving it a much more private atmosphere for our celebration which was much appreciated.All of the staff was incredibly sweet and courteous, especially when it came to me not realizing a dish I had ordered had cheese, and having it remade for me without! They really went the extra mile for our service.Prices are incredibly reasonable for the portion sizes, and the menu is much more unique than many in the Charleston area. The Bahn Mi, and Spam Burritos were some of the tables favorites!Cannot recommend you check them out enough! Fantastic experience all around.”
