“This deli is great! I was recommended by a friend to try it out and I am so glad we did. One of my children has a mammal protein allergy and this place has wonderful alternatives. My mother and I had the lox and bagel and I will be back as soon as possible. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice, not just simply polite. The chef was personable as well as professional. He knew all the makings of his ingredients, and with food allergies that is very helpful. The dining area is clean, classic, and cozy. Thank you to everyone who made this a wonderful brunch.“

“I can't say enough good things about Joan + Joe. From the quality of the food and drinks to the friendliness of the staff to the curated interior design: it surpasses all the competition. I just wish there was more seating so I could linger longer!“

“service was amazing, run by sweet young adults. a very quaint adorable place with not much seating but a lot of love in the ambiance. the food was pretty good and we got a lemon loaf too. the pastries seem to be a little more appealing than the oatmeal as it was on the sweeter end but overall, highly recommend. i am a barista and could tell the espresso was perfectly dialed in.“

“Glad we stumbled upon this charming spot! The welcoming staff, good food, and delightful coffee drinks made our visit enjoyable. Nestled in a neighborhood, the coffee house features mismatched seating, cute art on the walls, and even tables with games--plus, it's dog-friendly.“

“We love Black Dog Coffee Company! Not only is their iced (and hot) coffee the best, but their roasted beans are fabulous in our soaps! Great staff and wonderful owners! We are so appreciative of being a part of the Black Dog Coffee Company community!!!“

“Where to begin? We just ADORE Sibling Coffee Roasters! As local farmers, staying caffinated is a must, and we wouldn't trust our morning cup of joe to anyone else! Freshly roasted, reasonably priced, aromatic and exciting blends to delight any coffee connoisseur. Warm and inviting space inside, feels like you're visiting family for the holidays all year round.“

“I stumbled upon their truck in Martinsburg at the Weis on Queen Street and I was so happy I did. The ice cream was phenomenal (try the dulce de leche) and they were so nice as well. Their daughter is adorable and we will definitely be visiting the shop in the near future.“

“Plentiful tea goodies and attentive service, nice selection of interesting teas. The scones were just a bit over baked and the tea sandwiches would have benefitted from a few veggies or fruit slices or something more inventive along with the cream cheese and herbs. The decor is playful and nostalgic. Nice reuse of an old church building that we are told had gone into severe decline. I'd go back for lunch.Parking: We drove around trying to figure out if the restaurant had its own parking lot but it doesn't. Street parking is cheap compared to DC (50 cents an hour) but the parking kiosk ate two of my quarters!“

“Cutest little coffee shop with a large selection of looseleaf teas inside. Loved the chaotic menu posted outside, many flavors and many drinks available for all types. Barista was super nice and made a perfect double cortado. The chai latte was nice and spiced, the fresh ground nutmeg was an expert touch that brought it all together. They have great little baked goods, I highly recommend trying one.“
“This nifty shop is the only place we *always* come to when we're visiting family in nearby Charles Town. It has a wonderful variety of quality items: candles, soaps, dish towels, snacks, coffee, and wine, among many others. Prices are reasonable, and it's perfect when you're looking for gifts.“

“I'm fairly new the area, and have been looking for new places to visit. I found this little gem of a bakery/coffee shop in the beautiful town of Harper's Ferry. The staff was very pleasant and coffee was great! I'll definitely be heading back there soon!“
