“A real treat happens to be the WV Corner Kitchen. It is like entering the kitchen of your grandma, where every dish is a hug. The vibe is comfortable and inviting, causing you to feel right at home. The food? It really is utterly delicious, man! Ideal homestyle food preparation each time. How about the staff? She is super friendly and always available with a smile. It is the ideal setting for a cozy dinner. It is a must-see if you are ever in the area!“
“So I've always heard the term "greasy spoon" applied to small, (usually) family-run, restaurants that serve good, comfort food to local clientele. I don't know if The Grill is "family-run", but it IS small, it DOES serve good, comfort food, and it seemed most of the customers were locals. This place is a leteral hole-in-the-wall, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, eatery. It could be neater or fancier, but that's not what's important at The Grill. Instead, food and friendliness is the name of the game. (They even use paper plates for some orders, but who cares what the plates are made of - I'm not gonna eat those!) I had the fried balogna sandwich with an order of fries. The server said I would be getting a plate of fries... and she wasn't kidding! Everything tasted great. I say give The Grill a try!“
“Overall a very favorable experience. The Togo packaging and preparation was impeccable, although it did seem to take more time than I expected. Staff was friendly even though they were busy. I did however find the foyer area under staffed and in need of attention. (The front windows were not clean and RARELY was the hostess present when I and. Other guests entered creating some confusion.. an active bus person likely would solve this issue allowing the host to be more present.“
“I was visiting an ill relative in the hospital. I came in literally 20 minutes before closing not realizing it was that late. The waitress was so nice and seated me. They had my order out very quickly. The food was great, the service even better.“
