“We have been to several locations and the food is always excellent. When we saw there was one in Charleston we stoped looking for a breakfast place. We ate there both mornings we were there. Quick service even when they are busy and they have a wide variety of options including several very health choices.“
“A real treat happens to be the WV Corner Kitchen. It is like entering the kitchen of your grandma, where every dish is a hug. The vibe is comfortable and inviting, causing you to feel right at home. The food? It really is utterly delicious, man! Ideal homestyle food preparation each time. How about the staff? She is super friendly and always available with a smile. It is the ideal setting for a cozy dinner. It is a must-see if you are ever in the area!“
“I grew up in South Hills many years ago and we didn't have anything close to the quality of 1010 Bridge St back then. An amazing dining experience, every dish was expertly crafted down to the tiniest detail with the end result being a gastronomic bonanza!! Took my mother and my grandchildren for dinner - it was wonderful. Wish I could get back sooner!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“
“My family & I Absolutely Love this place the food is always excellent and if you know me I’m not the one to just give rating from just a couple of visits My family and I have patronized this restaurant for years and the last is always as amazing as the first and on top of that it’s spotless which is definitely a plus You will not be disappointed“
“What a delightfully delicious dining experience! Our food was terrific, especially the Angel Hair Crabcakes, and our cocktails were out of this world! Our server, Crystal, was the epitome of the best of the best! She made excellent food suggestions and never made us feel rushed. Kudos to Crystal! On our next visit to Charleston you can be sure we will once again dine at Hale House!“
“The lamb, prepared with impeccable skill and seasoned to perfection, is a true testament to the chef's culinary prowess. Each succulent bite is bursting with flavor, tender and juicy, leaving diners craving more with every mouthful. Accompanied by expertly paired sides and sauces, the lamb dinner at Noah's is a symphony of taste that delights the senses.Equally impressive is the flounder dinner, a seafood lover's dream come true. Fresh, delicate flounder fillets are expertly cooked to tender perfection, their natural sweetness shining through with every forkful. Complemented by a harmonious blend of complementary flavors and textures, this dish is a testament to Noah's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and treating them with the utmost respect.Of course, no visit to Noah's would be complete without a mention of the impeccable service. Behind the bar, Hutch reigns supreme, effortlessly crafting cocktails with precision and flair. His warm demeanor and expert knowledge elevate the dining experience, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.“
“Nice, clean, comfortable downtown Charleston eatery serving breakfast and lunch. We stopped in for a nice eggs and bacon dish for her and sausage for me. It came with potatoes seasoned just right and a cup of the most delicious, fresh fruit. It was all well made and tasty. There was bold and regular coffee, and quite frankly, it was the best tasting coffee we've had in a long time! Parking was right out front....bring quarters or use your credit card. Ou order your dush and then sit down. They bring it out to you. Prices are city prices as is the case in most downtown establishments.Try it out.....I think you'll like it.“
“The only thing I could critique is our entrées took a long time to the table but the service made up for it. I forgot his name but his daught plays basketball. Amazing and nice guy. The food was on point. They cooked my steak right. They were out of fried pickles a d potatoe skins which could have been fixed by buying pickles and prepping. Potato skins depends on how corporate wants them. Who knows may have been the same with the pickles. So just bump up your ordering a bit.Overall, it was a really wonderful visit.“
“I've been wanting to eat here for quite some time, they didn't disappoint. Exceptional service, exceptional food. Presentation, food/cocktail quality, is all worth it. The space is small and intimate. I wouldn't want it to be anymore spacious. If you have to wait, it's worth it. Well “
“You should give this place a try for lunch or dinner. The food and service is super consistent. The sandwiches are big and the fries are fresh cut. I haven’t had any issues finding parking on Capitol street. Ray’s buffalo chicken sandwich is excellent.“
“Love this place! My grandma lives in Charleston and we always come here when we visit:) When I was in elementary school I yelled "This is the best hotdog I've ever had" leaving the busy restaurant and now as an adult I've learned the rest of the menu is just as good! Worth the visit!!!“
“Great food, both upscale or downhome items to choose from on the menu but all made with the Chef's own flare! Get in now while he is just getting started here on the East End of Charleston because there is no doubt that when the word gets out, this place will have a line out the door!!“
“First time visiting this place! I have no clue how I hadn’t heard of it, but it’s a hidden gem! The food was incredible, the service was even better! The view blew my mind! It has a view of Charleston that is unlike any other! The atmosphere and service was just incredible. I will be back again! This may be my new favorite spot! Thank you all for the incredible experience!“
“Don’t miss this café if you’re in Charleston! Their breakfast is awesome, prices are great, and it’s in a cute area downtown. Special shout out to Arielle, she was super helpful to make recommendations and tell us about her city, she takes much pride in representing Charleston. Five stars all around!“
“We enjoyed our lunch at Eagles Nest today. We had the buffet that offered country fried steak and a spicy chicken dish (they change daily), alongside roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, dinner rolls, fresh salads, and various dessert items. The fried steak was very tasty, the beans tasted like grandma used to make, and the salads were extremely fresh. The star of the meal was the exceptional service. Each of the wait staff stopped by our table, at one point during our meal, to ask if anything was needed.“
“So my wife and I went here for our 22nd wedding anniversary, first time here, on a recommendation, and let me tell you that this was an experience. First off, I made a reservation, so they knew going in it was our anniversary. They had us set at a special table, decorated for the occasion, everyone here was absolutely amazing. Sandra came to our table and talked to us personally and made us feel very welcome, also Mark came to our table several times and took our orders and made sure it was all special. First off, we got the stuffed banana peppers as a starter, and these things were so packed full of flavor and were so large, I was super happy with these. I got the Cajun Chicken Pasta. again, the flavor on this plate was great, it was an amazing blend of spices, granted, the plate was not as it should have been as they were out of some of the items that went in the dish, but they substituted the items at no charge. my wife got the braised beef I think, it was great, I only tried a taste but it was really good, had carrots and some sort of sauce it was setting in, not sure what all it was. but it was very tasty. All in all, this was an amazing experience, Sandra and Mark were outstanding, and we will hands down go back again. Live entertainment made the night so much more special for us. Also ended with a Blueberry cheese cake cobbler. Recommended by Mark, and it was so good.“
“We stopped in for dinner Saturday evening and sat at the bar. Bartenders were awesome! I tried the new koala punch. It was fantastic... very yummy ?. We tried the new 3 course meal deal. Both of us got the sirloin, and they were perfectly cooked and huge! Only issue was the carrots were way under cooked.“
“It was cold... atmosphere. My waitress was so great. Super sweet. I'm not sure of her name but she called me baby and was the sweetest! Food was awesome. We only ordered one meal because we were traveling and still had leftovers. 11.49 pus tax and tip! I will definitely come back! (To another because we are from Ohio).“
“Really enjoyed our meal here. Smoked chicken wings were really smokey, but I loved the lemon-pepper dry rub! Fries were excellent; batter dip was crisp! Sandwich was also pretty darn good, but the start of the show was the deep fried pepperoni roll!! You should go there just to try this. Our server Darryl was top-notch. Can't wait to go back.“
“You are always welcome NO matter if they know or not. If your to drunk to drive home they will cut you off take your keys and make you eat sandwiches or call a taxi. You’ll never get this kind of hospitality ANYWHERE ELSE! Everyone is treated like familyPlus you never have to wait on a drink or food they make it a priority to not let anyone wait NO longer then 2 min. Tops!! Great crowd and most of the bands oare damn good too.“
“Absolutely awesome place and food....the decor alone grabbed my attention...then the server topped it off she was just the cutest sweetest lady ever.... food could of sucked and between her and the atmosphere I was in love but the food was amazing...literally walked out floating!!!!“
“So I've always heard the term "greasy spoon" applied to small, (usually) family-run, restaurants that serve good, comfort food to local clientele. I don't know if The Grill is "family-run", but it IS small, it DOES serve good, comfort food, and it seemed most of the customers were locals. This place is a leteral hole-in-the-wall, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, eatery. It could be neater or fancier, but that's not what's important at The Grill. Instead, food and friendliness is the name of the game. (They even use paper plates for some orders, but who cares what the plates are made of - I'm not gonna eat those!) I had the fried balogna sandwich with an order of fries. The server said I would be getting a plate of fries... and she wasn't kidding! Everything tasted great. I say give The Grill a try!“
“I was visiting an ill relative in the hospital. I came in literally 20 minutes before closing not realizing it was that late. The waitress was so nice and seated me. They had my order out very quickly. The food was great, the service even better.“
