“It is worth your time to check this place out! We stopped in on a Sunday night around 6:45PM. It is impressive to find a place like this open that late on a Sunday. We had pizza, a burger and the chicken BLT. All were excellent. They make their own bread and pizza crust. The pizza was fantastic. The burger patties were made from fresh meat vs food service frozen patties. You must try the house made chips. They are so good that they may ruin store bought chips for you. The owner was very nice. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion size. The ambiance is roadhouse/bar so it may not always be family friendly. We had the place to ourselves though.“

“Passed by The Social Tap several times on my way back from a chiropractic appointment in Jane Lew to my apartment in Bridgeport. Looked it up online and saw that it had good reviews. Last evening, my partner and I were trying to decide where we wanted to eat, but we didn't want to go to the typical places. I happened to think of The Social Tap as a possibility, but I wasn't sure about the type of food they served. My partner is accustomed to eating food high in carbs, but I am gluten and dairy free. ? I figured worst-case, I could get a salad. Looking over the menu after we found a table, I decided on the Rothesburger, which is typically served on a bun with cheddar cheese and served with fries. I ordered mine sans bun, cheese, ketchup and fries. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've had when dining out for a long time! My partner ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and ate the whole thing, so I assume it was good. ? All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening, and we plan to make The Social Tap a regular spot.Dietary restrictions: Gluten & Dairy FreeParking: Limited parking in the lot next to it but there is a larger lot across the road.“

“The staff was friendly. We did have to notify the bar tender that we had arrived because it's seat yourself. The booths needed wiped down and she was happy to do it.The large salad was absolutely a large!! It was a simple salad with fresh crisp lettuce and red ripe tomato. The house dressing is fantastic! The ribeye sandwich with cheese on garlic bread was also extremely tasty! The meat was juicy and it had good flavor I think I would have enjoyed it even more with a slice of tomato on it!Overall, the meal was delicious. I will be back on our next visit to Clarksburg. I would definitely recommend eating here!!“

“I moved to the area a few years ago, and had wanted to stop many times. I finally did, and loved the atmosphere so much, it has become my go to. Its basically an everyone knows everyone kind of place, friendly staff, good usuals, and the food is well above the normal for a bar and grille. We honestly have cravings for their steak sandwiches at least once a week and have to pop in. You won't regret stopping in for some food,a drink,and conversation. We've never had any sort of issue at Franklin's as we have at a few other places. Love love love it!“
