“I like everything about this establishment. That said, I have only eaten here once. The current owners are relatively new, but have made the business very attractive. They have a great variety on the menu, and the pricing of the menu is appropriate to more than appropriate for the portions, and the presentation of the menu items! The meal I ate was one of the better sandwiches that I have had in a long time while dining out. The staff is of the friendliest, as are the patrons they have. All around, I suggest getting your hands on a menu and trying it for yourself. But if you're looking for a place to relax, watch a game, play some darts or pool, gamble a little, meet new friends, or just try something new, the Silver Spur has not disappointed me yet.“
“I do recommend this restaurant. The hostesses greeted us. They were friendly. I didn't have food this time, but in the past, it has always been good. The bartender, Zack, was wonderful! “Food was great. Alex was our server was attentive, but not intrusive. Chopped pork plate, with slaw and baked beans was wonderful. Home made sauces "spicy, and sweet" both good, especially mixed. Our first time here, won't be our last.“
“This is a fun place to go. Usually on Saturday nights they play great music for dancing. It usually gets busy after 10:00, then very busy around midnight because it is open later than all the other bars in Morgantown. The bartender's here are great (except the one male bartender seems a little grumpy). I will definitely go back.“
“Myself and Andy were asked to perform before an evening WVU football game. A light audience at 1st but by game time, a nice enthusiatic and appreciative audience gathered. The game was fun to watch and WVU won!!!The staff were absolutely great. Sarah Beth made sure we had food and drink throughout the night.I ate the "Pulled Pork Sandwich" piled high, juicy and delicious w/ some great tasting fries. A great selection of brews make it an awesome place with an awesome atmosphere and great food!!“
“Decent place for wings. Haven't tried all their sauces yet. Cowboy ranch is pretty reliable. Fries are also great, can't go wrong with cheese fries. Inside dining comfortable and low key. Decent beer selection including local on tap. Service friendly and prompt. Recommend giving it a shot if looking for a sandwich/wing meal.“
“This is an incredible institution that I feel lucky to be privy to. I love this place and anyone who loves pool should come and check it out. They have great specials for Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, as well as beer and chips. They also have a club card. Loyalty is rewarded here. Everyone should check this out!“
“Back in 2012 this place was the beez knees. Magic was always in the air. 50 cent wings, cheap beer and lots of fun. Went back to visit a few weeks ago and my heart was happy the place was still there and it's still perfect, to this day. I recommend everyone try this place at least once, it's a no brainer. “Keglars is an iconic part of Morgantown, with great service and good food. Ranked as one of the top 101 Sports Bars in the nation, you really can't go wrong with this one. And if you're a fan of the Big Lebowski, this gem is definitely the one for you. Our bartender was charming and helpful, suggesting a blue cheese crumble golden wings that was nothing short than wings of the Gods. The snag in our wing feast was that we had order a basket of egg rolls that were good in taste but a little too crunchy in texture. Still, this sports bar and bowling alley ranks as a great place to catch a game or happy hour.... “This place is an absolute BANGER! The staff is always nice and pleasant, especially Mr. Merino, who by the way, serves amazing drinks. I couldn’t tell you a time I had to wait an extended amount of time for a drink because there wasn’t one. I think the environment is real fun. There are pool tables for you to play with, and you can play a trivia game on the tv there. The bathroom is super clean for the most part, unlike some bars in Morgantown that has urine all over the floors and sometimes dookie smeared about. The bar itself is the main attraction where you’ll have a nice selection of your favorite drinks to choose from. If you want a cosmo or an exotic fruit infused Michelob, you can get it all.“

When we arrived, it wasn’t really busy, but began to get that way quickly.Our server and runner were very friendly, but both were a little forgetful. 9 in our party, only 3 drinks were brought out. We had to let them know the rest didn’t get drinks yet. Crackers were asked for to go with soup and never received. Took awhile for drink refills and a few drinks were incorrect.Food wise…amazing as usual with Chilis.Atmosphere was on trend and clean. Very open restaurant design. “Our visit to Gene’s a few weeks ago was great fun. Our mission was to buy a hat after seeing John R Miller wearing their hat at a concert a few years ago. So we drove from Michigan in pursuit of a Gene’s hat. We also got this cool drawing. Staff and patrons were a blast … and the beer and hot dogs were great. Such a fun experience at this treasure in Morgantown!“
