I also enjoyed the Fried Green tomatoes. My husband had the Crab and it was good as well. We tip off the meal with Butter Pecan Cheese Cake.”

“Today was our family's second time meeting/celebrating a birthday at this location.We traveled from 3 different states which happens to be about the half way point for everyone. I called ahead to advise them of a group of 12 plus one highchair arriving at 1. They don't take reservations, however, they had a table set and ready for our group in the back room. Jennifer was our server and she did an outstanding job!!! One of our family members is gluten intolerant and they went above and beyond with making/serving his order. The food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly and professional!! I highly recommend!!! They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake and they were kind enough to provide plates, forks and napkins. In other words, they went above and beyond!!!”

We have stopped in every Friday since for Pizza night! I love that they have curbside because I typically pick up with my toddler and do not have to get her out of the car to pick it up. “We absolutely love Ladder House Bar & Grill! It’s one of our favorite local places to grab a pick up order or stop in for a quick bite to eat, and everything we’ve tried has always been delicious. We also love being able to support a great local restaurant!

Their Cobb salad is hands down my favorite, it’s always fresh, loaded with toppings, and their blue cheese is AMAZING! Seriously, if you love blue cheese, you have to try it. I also love their Reuben.

This is very good and if you like it hot ask for a bowl of their homemade hot sauce. The service was great. Lupe was my server. She was friendly and never kept me waiting on anything.”

The Manager offered to drive out the sub to my house in Inwood and threw in free cookies for our party as well. I can’t thank you enough. We absolutely love your subs and you went above and beyond. “Having lived in Westchester County, New York, for several years, I like to think I’ve developed a pretty good sense of what authentic New York pizza should look and taste like. And let me tell you, Giovanni’s NY Pizza did not disappoint!

What an unexpected gem to discover in the middle of West Virginia! The restaurant is run by a former Marine, and we were personally greeted by the owner, who prepared a fresh pizza right in front of us, complete with a delicious assortment of toppings.

Oh my, was it good! So good, in fact, that we ended up ordering two more pies to take home!

Everything about this pizza reminded me of what I loved about New York pizza. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside while remaining soft and airy on the inside, with a wonderful hint of olive oil. The tomato sauce was rich, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor, complemented by delicious mozzarella melted to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of how good a properly made New York pizza can be.

And here’s what impressed me even more. When we got home, we reheated the extra pizzas slowly in the oven, taking our time to bring them back to temperature. They hadn’t lost a thing! The crust was still wonderful, the flavors just as vibrant, and the cheese just as delicious. They tasted almost every bit as good as they had fresh out of Giovanni’s oven. Now that’s the sign of a pizza made right!

And the value? Almost unbelievable! Less than ten dollars for two generously sized slices, made fresh to order, and a drink. These days, finding that combination of quality, authenticity, and affordability is a rarity.

Giovanni’s is proof that you don’t have to be in New York to enjoy a fantastic New York-style pizza. Great food, genuine hospitality, and exceptional value. We came in expecting a quick bite and left with two extra pizzas and a new favorite spot.

I got the chicken lo mein rice and egg roll, my husband got a sweet and sour chicken rice and egg roll. Both cooked well and came out in great time. I will say the inside was a bit off putting, its quite unclean and had a pretty off putting smell, we almost left but we were very hungry.
