“Dorothy Gale said it best "There's No Place Like Home"Not only is West Virginia home for me but the food served at Tudor's Biscuit World embodies the people of my home state. Everyone is kind and friendly - the food has a genuine home cooked meal feel and taste - and the atmosphere is welcoming.My only complaint is that Pepsi is served here - and I don't drink coffee - so it is hard for me in the beverage department. The Hot Cocoa is delicious - however drinking hot beverages in summer months doesn't appeal to me.“

“Went to Guadalajara Modern Mexican for the first time. We regret waiting this long to try it!! The staff was friendly, it was extremely clean. Food came out hot and fresh. The meat on the taco and the Classic Jumbo Burrito was full of flavor l! My husband who never gives out 5/5 said this place deserves a 5 out of 5. We will definitely be back, and it’s our new favorite Mexican restaurant!! Fabulous food & service!!“

“Cannot say enough amazing things about this resturant. Prices are more than reasonable. You can get a full large meal under $10 with a drink chips and salsa, which is rare nowadays. It is always, always delicious. The staff are friendly and work hard. Always so nice over the phone. Never forget anything out of my order and I go there a LOT. Love this place. “Today was probably the 5th or 6th visit that we have made to La Roca's within the past year (always for lunch) and we are always pleased with our experience. The food, the service, the menu, and the atmosphere have all consistently been excellent. I am a vegetarian and I can honestly say the Vegetable Fajitas are among the best I have eaten (the Corn and Zucchini Tacos are yummy as well). The portion was more than ample. In fact,I had enough remaining to take home for another meal. My husband is not a vegetarian and has loved everything that he has ordered (he has never had any leftover to take home!). The staff is always pleasant and attentive, which is much appreciated. I have no reason to doubt that our next trip to the Cross Lanes La Roca's (and there will definitely be a next time) will be as outstanding as our previous visits. ??⭐“

“Our group of four stopped in for lunch on our way home from Kentucky back to Virginia. It was an easy stop off the highway. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was great. The food was delicious and came quickly. Very reasonably priced with large portions. The dessert were great as well and they had a very large assortment. I loved how the menu discussed the fact that everything is homemade and made with real ingredients. We would definitely stop in again.“

“Nice Chinese and Sushi restaurant that's been around for many years. Great EZ parking lot, and got a friendly greeting, along with being seated right away. I was attended to by three different wait staff. They must team together and they were attentive and friendly.I tried a Seafood Delight and it came with all sorts of seafood with veggies: shrimp, scallops, lobster, and sealegs. It was served with brown rice. I prefer white rice and I believe it would have made a tasty dish even better. It was not offered, though.I also tried eel sushi and a spicy tuna and spicy salmon combo roll. Both were very good.The menu is so extensive that I'm going to have to keep coming here! I recommend that you try it if you haven't already. BTW: it's about a 1/2 mile north off of exit 47 (Cross Lanes) from Rt 64. “This is the best Chinese you will ever have. I moved to Beckley and I have family members drive it up to me on holidays and kept my doctor down there so I still have a reason to go down and get their hot and sour soup. And not just the soup…the crab ragoons are far above any I have tried in Beckley. It has been a tragedy going from this place to the wontons with plain cream cheese that fill Raleigh county. China chef makes me realize you shouldn’t take a good thing for granted…they will forever be the best cheap Chinese food that exist in North America. You’re welcome. ?“
