“The manager (owner?) has a passion for his work, he checked my pickup order personally to make sure it was up to his standard. The menu is large and interesting and the great preparation, presentation and service shows they take pride in being excellent. Plus everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and peaceful. “I've been getting Burritos de Pollo Asado from Almanzas for years. Nothing compares in my opinion. No rice. No beans. No fillers at all!!! Just pollo asado and some guacamole sauce. The salsa bar is great - like nine different sauces to choose from. I can't speak to the other menu items. The Pollo Asado Burrito is superior I visit Santa Rosa California often, and haven't found anything close there.“
“We arrived around 4:30 pm on a Friday. The place was almost completely empty. The manager greeted us and said they'd be with us in a minute as he finished putting together a to-go order. The next staff member came over and apologized for the wait and he began to help my family of four get our individual meals.When we paid another staff member helped us. She was friendly like the manager and first employee. We sat down to eat. Everyone liked their entrees. We had two burritos, one quesadilla, and three cheese nachos. Portions were plentiful. Everything was hot and delicious.However the one downside was that every booth in the restaurant had crumbs on the tables. It just would have been a five star experience if even one of the booths had had a clean table.We'll be back for sure, it was an overall good experience with one tiny complaint.“
“Clean and friendly. The chorizo queso was absolutely delicious. The horchata was very good but needed chilled. They were roasting whole tomatoes in the kitchen! Yum! But slow. I ordered over the phone for some tortillas and chips and queso to be picked up in 30 minutes. It wasn't ready when I got there and I had to wait another 15 minutes. It wasn't even a real dish that should have taken time.“
