“This is my wife and I‘s new favorite Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins. Food is super fresh and authentic. High quality margs also made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the fish tacos and quad grapefruit Paloma. Will the bartender always provides great service and great drinks!“
“I have been there on several occasions ordering tacos recently. Specifically the carne asada tacos. They have a great flavor. The portions are plentiful and everything is fresh including the corn tortillas. The fresh salsabar is a good compliment to the experience. We have also tried their El pastor tacos and they are also very good. Many years ago they used to make their fajitas with a melted cheese and bacon on top my only regret is that they stop doing that. Service was a little slow but I think they are dealing with the same staffing issues as everybody else.. The most important thing is that the food itself is fresh, consistent and very competitively priced.“
“Reminds me of Mexican food back home in Tucson. Im super excited to find this gem in Vanilla Valley...I mean Fort Collins lol! When you are over all the bland American food and nothing but burger and pizza joints here, head here to grab some Tamales, or burritos, tacos, you name it! Mexican pastries as well! Food was delicioso y sabroso! Customer service muy bien! And the prices are SPOT ON!“
“Went and grabbed empanadas tonight for dinner on our way to furniture shopping. Had the chimole chicken and steak empanada- my ‘go-to’s’.Also snagged a caramel apple empanada for breakfast tomorrow. Topped it off with some house made horchata and I was so satisfied! Excellent, authentic quality food served up with great service. We love coming to see Morgan and Azael and their beautiful storefront. Delicious!“
“One of the best happy hours in town, including all day on Tuesdays with a half-priced Tequilla menu. Also one of the most gluten-sensitive restaurants in town. Not inexpensive, but the food, drinks, and service are all on point and I look forward to exploring more of what they offer!“
“My doordash order was never received, so I was a bit frustrated when I got there. The lady was very sweet and apologetic about what happened, but it didn't even matter because as soon as I took that first bite, I knew I'd be coming back here forever!! ?“
“Great dining experience this evening. Our server was especially good with our 2 grandsons that were with us. The food was wonderful, all workers friendly & everything was very clean. When we are back in that area we will definitely eat here again!“
“Delicious brunch on the patio! We loved the breakfast burrito and Cancun skillet along with the cocktails! The tortilla chips are served with a bowl of refried beans and salsa. Everything was so delicious! Plus it was our anniversary, so they treated us to a cheesecake. Exceptional service, food and atmosphere!“
“Nice first experience with Las Catrinas food truck. We grabbed lunch during the Juneteenth celebration at Foothills Mall. We each got a burrito, I ordered the Pastor. My burrito had great flavor with some kick. Generously sized and very filling. I'd love to try their street tacos another time. Service was super friendly and our order came out within 5 minutes! Totally met my expectations for a food truck experience - quality food, good value, friendly service and reasonable wait time. Check them out if you find the, about town!“
“First, a little background about food trucks. In the 1990's, food trucks were much different - you didn't have a vast selection of specialty foods available. A food truck was more like a mobile convenience store, carrying the expired stuff that 7-11 had unloaded for 1/2 price in the wee hours of the morning. You only went if you had forgot to pack a sangwich or you didn't have time to leave the construction site. Nowadays, you can find energy drinks (yah) but also fish n chips, good Mexican, burgers, all kinds of food. Maggie's is a good Mexican food truck, better than 80% of the Mexican brick-n-mortar places in Fort Collins. The day I encountered Maggie's ,they were parked in the lot at Jax (the one in town, not the ranch one up by LaPorte). I was disappointed that Jax didn't have what I needed, and what's better than drowning your sorrows in food? Which I enjoyed. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito and a couple of Al pastor street tacos. The menu seems fairly large, and they had even deployed a picnic table and some plants to give the place some atmosphere. By virtue of location, one of the best restaurants in north Fort Collins. They're presumably mobile, but if you see Maggie's at Jax, you should stop and feed.“
“Absolutely love everything about this place! The food, the people, the store and bakery. So much fun having access to amazing authentic products to make my own delicious Mexican food. The tamales are some of the best, as are the tortillas. Would highly recommend this establishment if you want delicious, fresh and authentic Mexican cuisine and great prices.“
“Settled inside/next to Equinox Brewing, Santa Elena’s might be Fort Collins’ most under-rated kitchen. Food never disappoints and is made from scratch! Shrimp Ceviche or Chicken Masa Quesadilla are both divine. Also, everything if Gluten Free.“
“What a great place! We stumbled in by chance when our original choice was closed and I am so glad we did. On a Tuesday night during winter break, the restaurant is not too busy. Easy to hear my husband across the table and have a conversation with some basketball playing in the background. I ordered a medium combination with a taco and an enchilada. It came with so much food that I only ate the enchilada and brought the rest home. My husband ordered the chicken molé, and was very happy! Before the meal arrived, we were served chips, salsa, and refried beans. Food took less than 10 minutes from ordering to the table. We will definitely be back! To have 2 full entrées and 2 NA drinks for under $50 is hard to find nowadays.“
“There are moments in life when your palate is transformed forever, and for me, that moment came in the form of loaded nachos from Antojitos del Sureste, unassumingly served at New Belgium Brewery. This wasn’t just a dish; it was a culinary journey. Each chip seemed to be a golden raft, laden with a perfect balance of flavors. The cheese was a molten treasure, rich and gooey, cascading over the crispy chips. The meat, tender and seasoned to perfection, offered a savory punch, while the fresh salsa and creamy guacamole added layers of vibrant, zesty flavors. The jalapeños, subtly introduced, were like little bursts of heat that cut through the richness, providing a fiery contrast that left you craving more. And let’s not forget the beans - they were far from mere fillers. Cooked to a tender perfection, they were the unsung heroes that brought everything together. As I sat there, savoring each bite amidst the lively buzz of the brewery, I realized that this was more than just nachos. This was a masterpiece, a symphony of flavors playing harmoniously together, creating an unforgettable experience.Sorry, Fat Tomato’s, your reign was commendable, but Antojitos del Sureste now owns the crown. These are, without a shadow of a doubt, the best loaded nachos I’ve ever had. They’re not just food; they’re a reminder of how simple ingredients, when combined with passion and skill, can transcend into something truly extraordinary.“
“This place is amazingggg. I came here on my lunch break, really wanted some Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. I got a fajita burrito with asada, a side of sour cream (which they asked if I'd like in the burrito, yes please!) And some salsa verde which has a nice amount of heat to it ? all for under $11 including tax and tip. This is my new favorite spot in Foco ❤️Parking: In the auto zone parking lot but plenty of space around it!Kid-friendliness: Had a whole kid menu which is awesome, will bring my family with me next time“
“The Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group met here for a New Year’s Day luncheon get together. We found the atmosphere to be warm and inviting. The décor was colorful, and the staff was very fun and friendly. The food was delicious. We found Hacienda Real to be a great place to meet for a casual lunch.“
“My daughter got the street tacos. She got the fish, pork belly, and carne asada. The best one was the pork belly. They were all good but the pork belly melted in your mouth. It was awesome.I got the uno burrito. It was good. But I would recommend that they add the salas on the side to smother the burrito in. They have three salas which are all very good. The green one is mild and a hint of avocado. The is red one is a chunky southwest style with medium heat. The yellow one is sweet and very spicy.Side note, the chips and salsa are 6 bucks. It would a great if it was unlimited but sadly it isn't.I recommend coming during happy hour if you are a Drinker. The margarita on the rocks was a perfect mix but slightly heavy on the ice.“
“We have searched for years for good authentic Mexican food in Fort Collins and finally found it at the very top of College Ave.! Hands down, this is the best. The real deal. Brings back memories of many delicious meals we've enjoyed in Baja. We are going to eat our way through their extensive menu. This is a restaurant as well as a store. Staff is patient and friendly. Store is immaculate with a wide variety of items, including bakery and meats. Restaurant items are take-out, but there are a number of nice tables outdoors where you can eat your meal. Prices are very reasonable.“
“I realized I've probably had a couple hundred La Luz burritos if you go back to my college days but I had never reviewed. Do it right and take advantage of the roasted medium salsa poured poured liberally into a potato burrito. Well, that's my fave. Other options are also fantastic. This is a place that understands that heat imparts flavor. The meat has just the right char and I already mentioned the roasted salsa which is way too hard to find in restaurants.Only tip for improvement feedback is that on occasion in the past I'd get a tortilla that is a bit dried and flaky on the outside, but it's still fine and they may have fixed that based on recent visits.I don't live nearby anymore but I still make it up once in a while and it is still a happy place for my belly each time. It's an absolute shame the other locations have closed.“
“I've driven past this place a few times and always wanted to try it out. I'm so happy I decided to today. I got two birria tacos. They smelled delicious and were so tasty I ate the first one before I remembered to take a photo. Will definitely be eating here again.“
“Best Mexican food in Fort Collins. I got the chihuahua burger and it was the best burger I've ever had in my life. The portions are big and price is reasonable for the quality of the food. La mejor calidad de comida en Fort Collins hands down 10/10“
“We had an amazing meal at El Diablo. The margaritas are excellent. The complimentary chips and salsa (2 kinds of salsa) and fresh and delicious. We had carne asada, Birria tacos and Birria torta. Everything was so delicious. Our server (Luis) was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!“
“The food at Agave Underground was wonderful! However, unfortunately the wait time for drinks and food was so slow on a Monday night with only 4 tables of patrons. The bartender spent 75% of the time we were in the restaurant chatting it up with the server and other staff. We are people who will go back again and again when the food and service are deserving. It's sad this place doesn't have the management control to require hard working to be done by their staff. Hopefully it gets resolved, because we would love to recommend it to others.“
“Very delicious. Our meals were prepared in a timely manner. Atmosphere was excellent. We will definitely return. We also enjoyed the outside dinning.Parking: We were lucky to find a space right out front so it's just about timing honestly.“
“Los Tarascos is always wonderful. Service and food are great. They have several signature dishes in my opinion but I would recommend the quail with mole.Parking: Parking is a little tricky as I don't believe they have a designated lot. I could only find street parking about a block away but it was free.“
“If you're looking for a California / Texas style taco joint in Fo Co, this is the jam! Everything was delicious, and I'm picky as hell because I'm from the land of great Mexican food. Salsa was a stand out, along with the classic carne asada taco. Bomb!“
