“Had a great dinner here! Friendly staff, food came fast and was delicious! We had the kids chicken nachos, tamales, and pork carnitas burrito - all hot and generous portions. Also appreciated the use of reusable kids cups instead of yet another plastic or styrofoam throwaway. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!“
“We had plans to visit another Mexican restaurant down the road but they were closed for a private event so we found ourselves here, may have been a blessing in disguise. We were seated right away and our waiter greeted us quickly. We ordered chips and salsa and the green chile queso, the chips were homemade and delicious, as well as the salsa and queso. I ordered the combo with a shredded beef burrito and tamale. It came with a side of rice and beans and smothered in green chile. The shredded beef was well seasoned and they didn't skimp on the amount they put in. My sister got Edward's combo (I think that was the name of it) and it came with a shredded beef taco, chicken Laura and a Laura. It was so much food, but she said it was all very good. This combo was also smothered and came with the rice and beans. My other sister ordered something that had chicken, bacon, and cheese melted on top. Tortillas came in the side along with rice and beans. She asked for a side of green chile as she found it to be a little bland without some sort of sauce. We had a house margarita and a mango margarita, both in the rocks and very tasty. The food was great, the seating was comfortable for what seems like a small place from the front, but we did notice them taking people down a hallway so there must have been more room back there. We ended up taking home leftovers, including chips from our salsa and queso. Our food came out fast and all of the staff we encountered were very friendly.“
“Wow, this place has more flavor than you would expect. I eat a lot of Mexican food across many states. This is ranked up there with the Mole restaurant everyone raves about in SLT. The chili Colorado sauce was so delicious and flavorful. The salsa you get with the chips flavors blended so well together. Neither spicy hott but amazing flavor.“
“Visited this gem a couple of times while in Estes. I am so happy we tried it, they have amazing food and the quality of the food, service and cleanliness is top notch. We tried many items on the menu both days, and not once were we disappointed. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, answering questions and accommodating changes to ingredients on several items ordered. This place is a MUST try. I love how authentic all their flavors are. Thank you!!!“
“Our server was bar none the best! The scenery here is beautiful! I enjoyed my eggs. Leo’s steak seemed frozen, but we couldn’t complain bc it was just beautiful & she was so kind. Maybe just a bad day for the cook? I would still try them again.“
“Not sure why this place has 3 stars but my experience was more than I expected it to be. Being from SoCal, I refused to try any Mexican cuisine claiming to be "authentic" in CO. However, I gave this place a try on a whim. Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter, Alberto, was quick to service us and was very attentive the entire time we were there. The food was delicious and I recommend the queso fundido con chorizo! Super flavorful with a bit of spice but it's just right. For dessert we ended up getting the fried ice cream and it was amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a homey Hispanic feel as the decor reminded me of my grandparents house. This was authentic in my eyes! Gracias a la gerencia y a Alberto por el excelente servicio y comida! I'll be back again! Plus, it's right along the river“
“We visited yesterday. They were short staffed, only one person at the front taking orders (dine in and take out), serving and checking out! We sat for 10 minutes without water while waiting to place orders. She was very nice and apologized for the delay. Food was average for me (eggs Benedict, eggs were overcooked, not enough hollandaise), but spiced Chai was good! My friends' meals were good- ranging from burger to sandwiches, skillet, and chicken noodle soup. I am impressed that they made the fries from scratch!“
