“The food was tasty. I had the fish tacos with the spicy sauce and my wife had the burrito bowl. Nice portions. Only issue was with the wait time for ordering and receiving the meal. Many folks in the restaurant on this night were waiting 30-40 minutes for their meals. I asked the waitress if they had an issue in the kitchen, maybe ran short of product or short handed? She just indicated that all was okay and no issues?! Again the food was good but the wait time was excessive. Up to you.“

“Some of the best mole hands down. Casual atmosphere, good home cooked mole. The hear varies from time to time, which I'm sure depends on the fresh ingredients.Dietary restrictions: You can have gluten free without flour tortillas and dairy free without sour cream or cheese.“

“Took my toddler and husband here for the first time. My son LOVED the rice and beans and even ate chips WITH salsa! It was so delicious and the service was great. It's family owned and operated so definitely worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: Since it's family owned children are more than welcome which is great because dining out with little kids can be challenging.“

“We found Pablo's Basecamp at the end of Murphy's Main St. on a cold winters eve and it seemed like just the right time to share a burrito with my husband. Yes share, bc it was huge and for the amazing price of $10, and that was the supreme (with avacado & sour cream). The burrito was delicious, the staff super friendly and what a quaint atmosphere with the lights and Holiday feel.“

“Born and raised in Sacramento but never ventured out to Sonora or Jamestown. My son and I needed to grab a quick meal before meeting others for a script reading for an upcoming documentary so that's what landed here. I found this little nugget off the hwy roadside using the trusty Yelp app and I was actually a little hesitant when we arrived but found the staff very friendly and with good food. I'm sure it's not "real" Mexican just Americanized but I always evaluate a Mexican joint by how their refried beans taste and C C's was on the top of my list. I ordered a pork tamale while the kid got a three soft taco combo and he really liked them. My tamale was so so. I liked how they served two different taco chips for appetizers; a fried white tortilla and regular corn chips. The salsa was very very mild and needed a little more kick for me but was very good as well. So if you're in the area and want to get out of the crowd in old town Sonora, take the little drive down to Jamestown.“

“Open on Sundays! ⭐(Beautiful) Family business ⭐Amazing food & LOTS to choose from. I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!Love the flour tortilla chips mixed in w/the corn & the salsa was my favorite homemade kind (a little more cilantro, less tomato saucy) I had the chile rellano omelet that was excellent!“

“First time here and the staff is amazingly friendly. Place is much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. They quickly served me chips and salsa and WOW!! Chips were warm and fresh and the salsa has AMAZING flavor. Ordered the Chile Verde!! Wow!! I love chili verde and order it at many places and make it myself too. You will NOT be disappointed. Large portion... came hot ... pork is so tender and flavor right on!! Great spot!! So happy I stopped here.“

“We had to travel to San Andres from Sacramento for court, since we had a wait time we decided to grab some lunch and saw La Esperanza's taco truck. To be honest, being such a small town, I didn't have much hope for it being good but I was pleasantly surprised. First thing I noticed were the prices! This place is so much cheaper than the taco trucks I'm used to. On average a super burrito would set you back $13 but not here, it was only $9! And they even had huaraches, I now wish I got one to go. It was 11:30 am and the lunch crowd was starting to show up, they had several call ahead orders they were handing out quickly on top of on the spot orders. We ordered 4 tacos and a super burrito and it came out within 10 minutes, so not a bad wait time at all. They had 2 picnic tables set out if you chose to enjoy your food there, which we did. My super burrito was average size but it wasn't all beans and rice like most places do, it was minimal beans if any (which I don't mind since I'm not a huge fan) decent portion of rice and a generous amount of meat. I had pastor and it was all good meat, not once did I have to spit out a fatty piece. The red sauce had a nice kick and over was a really good burrito. My husbands tacos were also piled up with meat. Overall for the price and quality, this is a great food truck. Seeing as we have to come back in 3 months, we'll for sure hit up this food truck again.“

“Just ate here for lunch. It's really surprising to have such good Mexican food in this area. We ordered the super burrito, super nachos, and mocajete with 2 mango margaritas and michalada mix with modello. Service was good, and they have outdoor seating that I wish we could've taken advantage of, especially on the sunny day. Indoor seating is plenty and clean. The molcajete is a MUST! It reminded us of our Cabo vacation, but better... Their al pastor meat is seasoned just as good as Mexico that we remember.“

“Literally the best Taco truck food I've ever had. I eat at a lot of taco trucks and this one easily takes the cake, that includes anything I've found down in the valley. I usually get the super quesadilla here and I'm never disappointed. Delicious, fresh made with high quality food. Always make it a point to stop here if I'm passing through angels camp!“
