I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!Love the flour tortilla chips mixed in w/the corn & the salsa was my favorite homemade kind (a little more cilantro, less tomato saucy) I had the chile rellano omelet that was excellent!“

“Genuinely, some of the best tacos I've ever had in my life -- and I'm Mexican! The sauce is perfect and the cheese on the tortilla was grilled to perfection. Great service too, I've had Eduardo twice now and he is so attentive, sweet, and very handsome! Great hours and pretty affordable!“

“Literally the best Taco truck food I've ever had. I eat at a lot of taco trucks and this one easily takes the cake, that includes anything I've found down in the valley. I usually get the super quesadilla here and I'm never disappointed. Delicious, fresh made with high quality food. Always make it a point to stop here if I'm passing through angels camp!“

“Randomly stopped here while in downtown Sonora. I had their 3 plate combo - Crispy Taco, Sope, & enchilada. Great taste all around. I especially liked their green sauce. You get free chips and salsa - a major plus. They have a large collection of what seems like every possible hot sauce on the market.“

“I got there and there were 2 people in front of me. When I sat down to wait for my order there were 7 people behind me. I sat and waited for less than 3 minutes, so their service is yay great! I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with onions and cilantro. They have some great salsas so fix your own. The burrito was spectacular! Lots of cilantro (I love it!), the salsa was really spicy and super flavorful. I ate the burrito for 2 days it was huge! I really liked the creaminess of the beans and the cheese was very nice. I would definitely go there again and I know my daughter, who is local, will be a regular!“

“This place is one of my date night staples. The service is always on point, and the food... THE FOOD. It's always delicious. Seriously, I've never had even a mediocre meal here. It can get pretty busy during dinner time, especially on the weekends, but the restaurant itself is pretty spacious and even has a back room you can section off for larger groups. Overall, this is my staple Mexican restaurant in town!“

“Been coming here for ten years. We moved to Oklahoma a few years ago and we still have to stop here when we are in town visiting family. The owner is awesome and the food is great. Can’t ask for more. Btw get the 3 meat burrito if you like breakfast burritos. It’s amazing. Add chorizo to it if you like it :)“

“The atmosphere of this place leaves a lot to be desired, but don't let that deter you from eating the food! You can order by phone and carry out or you can eat in. Either way, the food is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful and always polite. This is my family's go-to Mexican restaurant. Reasonably priced, fresh, delicious food. They offer catering, too!Wheelchair accessibility: Maneuvering within the restaurant itself might be a bit tricky, but accessing the entry and the front counter to place an order is completely doable in a wheelchair.“

“The staff are always nice, the food is good quality and comes out quick, they have a nice wide selection and this is some of the best Mexican I've had on the hill, their rice can be a bit dry, but aside from that the food is good. it reminds me of some of the stuff you can get in San Diego. I would highly recommend at least checking it out if not becoming a regular. 9/10Wheelchair accessibility: It's right on the sidewalk, there is a little bit of a lip but nothing too crazy. Should be plenty accessable to the differently able“

“My recent visit to El Jardin left me with a wonderful dining experience. The flavor of the soup I ordered was absolutely on point, and it made for a delightful start to my meal. The Cadillac margarita was a standout, boasting an amazing taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. The chips and salsa provided the perfect accompaniment to my drinks and meaI appreciated the fact that the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, giving patrons the choice of their preferred dining atmosphere. Although there was a minor hiccup with a new hostess who was unsure about a few things, we all start somewhere, and his effort to accommodate was clear. However, the only aspect that didn't align with my preferences was that the sour cream came already in my soup. I would have preferred to add it myself to avoid curdling. Nevertheless, the flavor was still incredible, and the soup tasted great. Overall, El Jardin offers a fantastic dining experience with excellent food, an inviting atmosphere, and a standout margarita. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.“

“The food was tasty. I had the fish tacos with the spicy sauce and my wife had the burrito bowl. Nice portions. Only issue was with the wait time for ordering and receiving the meal. Many folks in the restaurant on this night were waiting 30-40 minutes for their meals. I asked the waitress if they had an issue in the kitchen, maybe ran short of product or short handed? She just indicated that all was okay and no issues?! Again the food was good but the wait time was excessive. Up to you.“

“Born and raised in Sacramento but never ventured out to Sonora or Jamestown. My son and I needed to grab a quick meal before meeting others for a script reading for an upcoming documentary so that's what landed here. I found this little nugget off the hwy roadside using the trusty Yelp app and I was actually a little hesitant when we arrived but found the staff very friendly and with good food. I'm sure it's not "real" Mexican just Americanized but I always evaluate a Mexican joint by how their refried beans taste and C C's was on the top of my list. I ordered a pork tamale while the kid got a three soft taco combo and he really liked them. My tamale was so so. I liked how they served two different taco chips for appetizers; a fried white tortilla and regular corn chips. The salsa was very very mild and needed a little more kick for me but was very good as well. So if you're in the area and want to get out of the crowd in old town Sonora, take the little drive down to Jamestown.“
