“EXCELLENT Dinner!Exquisite Chicken Tika Masala and very nice atmosphere as well. Best Garlic Naan I have ever had. I've been enjoying Indian food for the past 39 years.”
“This was my first axe throwing experience and I couldn't have been happier. The owner gets a special shout-out for being personable and just an all around cool guy. He went above and beyond to ensure we knew what we were doing (I was darn near a pro by the time our session was over). The location was clean and the vibe was perfect.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. We followed Courtney and Eric from the Carpe Vino days to this wonderful establishment. The location in the historic Odd Fellows Lodge building gives the feeling of an old tyme dinner house. The fresh and very creative dishes are mouth watering and the drinks are superb. You are welcomed by the wonderful staff and our favorite waiter of all time...Robert. He will take you on a tour of the menu with his amazing descriptions and true culinary appreciation. Save room for the out-of-this-world desserts. This restaurant just gets better and better.”
“Wish they had a couple more West Coast IPA’s to chose from but what they have always tastes good. Atmosphere is always great especially the covered outside patio with food trucks and bands.”

“Had the Coyote Supreme with a Caesar salad on the side. Sooooooooo, goood! Looking forward to going back again next week with the friends that weren't able to make it tonight. Service was great and the ambiance is on a more intimate scale than it's predecessor now is.”
“Typical brewery tucked in an industrial park. That said, they have a nice patio area set up next to their food truck vendor. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you. Recommend you get a flight to experience a few of their well crafted beers. Inside there is a shuffleboard table along with typical bar games. We tried four IPAs and a stout. All were outstanding. Cheers!”

“We had never been to Sakura before and were pleased to discover a really good sushi place in Auburn! It's a small place, just the chef and the waitress as far as we could tell. The waitress, Crystal, was very knowledgeable about all the food and friendly and helpful. We really loved everything we ate so check it out! It's all sushi although some of the fish is cooked. Lovely creative presentations. Everything was delicious. We got a wide variety of rolls, some gyowza appetizers, and some delicious salads. What a find!”
“I received this bottle of wine from Ryan and his father while they were visiting Portland Indiana.....I'm sure it's as wonderful as the other they shared on that visit. :)”

Super clean restaurant, and large bar area away from main dining room.large screen menu display for getting a good view of the prepared dishes. great facility for eating inside and out. Staff friendly. Absolutely love the Salsa and Chips bar. IPA on tap to wash it all down. Lovely Sunday evening , enjoying food . Several people enjoying margaritas on the patio. When in Auburn, grab a quality meal for a reasonable price.”
“My husband and I love the beers here, and the patio, and we can bring the little ones AND the dogs. The tattooed girl who always seems to help us gives off an air that she's too good to be there, or that we're bothering her, but I can get over that.”

“This is my favorite go to place twice a week for healthy nutrition especially during my busy schedule when I get in too late to grab food. I always choose this over fast food! I get the exact same 2 bowls. Power Acia for my son and a my go to is always a Tropical granola bowl with coconutor yogurt base along with a smoothie. On 12 / 19 I get there a few minutes pat 7 pm . i don't know how the miscommunication happened last night but I got into town after comutting 6 hrs put in my usual order, got home and to my disappointment ; my "Tropical granola bowl" was a Waffle bowl . I don't know if the young lady taking my order was just not listening because she seemed preoccupied but I did repeat my order twice because she didnt include my smoothie after saying ," so the two bowls will complete your order""???. I still do not get how she ended up entering and making a Waffle bowl that I clearly did ask for or order . A Tropical Granola bowl does not sound like "A Waffle bowl" and it was just terrible! I literally felt like I was eating not only waffles but a bowl of cut up sponges with a very small amount of anything else so I basically ate a bowl of bread for dinner and it had about a half a cup of straight whipped cream. who eats that ??? I will still continue going here because its clean the food is fresh and ive had great communication and customer service prior to this being my new location for thepast 6 weeks but I certainly hope to never have that kind of mistake happen. I even had to ask the person who took my order for my smoothie after she handed me my bag and just stood there staring at me because I didn't take my bag and leave. I had to ask for the smoothie sitting in front of her and I was the only customer in there being served. I completly understand working long days and sometimes they aren't always positive and mistakes happen. I'll definitely start making sure they get my order right before leaving to drive the 10 miles home with the wrong order.”

“The food is really good, fresh, and flavorful. Portions are ample. The restaurant is located in an old but renovated, Auburn house which is expansive and bright. It's across from the old town Auburn courthouse and a very short stroll from the cool old downtown. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices are in line in with prices charged by nice independent or non chain restaurants but the prices are reasonable. Our lunch for 4 without cocktails but with tax was about $95 so just over $20 a person. Tap and Vine has their own free parking off the street. This is a plus because parking in the old town area can be tough. We really liked this restaurant.”
“Such a cute tasting patio area with an exceptional view! Wine was amazing and service was so friendly! It makes you not want to leave (even on a cold and rainy day!). Definitely make this a stop on your wine tour!”
“Rebellion has always been a spot I've been aware of being so close but it was swell to stop by the tap-room and get and opportunity to see the full variety. First, there's an ice strip in the bar top to keep your beer chilled and the glasses are filled from the bottom?!? The most 'high-tech' bar top I've seen. The room is somewhat small but reasonably well decorated with plenty of natural light. Our server was crazy friendly and really made it a fun evening. Take the time and stop by when in the area!”
“This is review number Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, Three, Sahm, Tres of the Round Table on Elm in town Auburn! Reading on another area, it only averages two stars or TWO STARS! I gave on that area FIVE STARS! Okay, so come in, the person named Collin, short yellow hair or the person named Kollin, short yellow hair! He was very helpful! Okay, so Round Table Pizza not sells just by slice! He says they have personal size pizza! Okay, his recommendation, I get two toppings! Cheese and pepperoni already included! Get sausage and green onions for it! This is a very nice Round Table Pizza! I will definitely come back! Ah yes, I came in because this of Round Table Pizza does points, just leave the Telephone Number, the person gets points! Okay friend Fearless Freddy, I just gained you some points! Thank you to Collin or thank you to Kollin for all your great help! I loved all their veg.Vegetarian options: There are several choices for vegetarian options and it is labeled on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They have a specific gluten free menu upon request. There were a lot of choices, including appetizers, main courses and even dessert. We will have to go again on our way home to try the things we missed on our first visit.”

“We really like this restaurant. While Auburn has many good places to eat, Max's is one of the few places that feels a bit "nicer". So while the food is good (if not spectacular) the service is always pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere fairly quiet, and it feels "civilized". Note: However, the bar, situated in the middle of the restaurant, can become a bit loud, in which case all bets are off. All it takes is for one lonely patron on a bar stool to be having a conversation with the bartender, and everyone in the restaurant can hear it.”

“Great place good prices. To the person saying I wish door dash would let u order here. Are you dense, you've been here right you expect a driver to wait the 15 minutes in line, 5 minutes at the grill not to mention the drive time gas and messy hands and you'd tip what like 3 dollars like every other cheapskate in this town. 3 dollar tips comes out to about 12 dollars an hour btw so if you tipped the same amount on here you'd make about 7 dollars in an hour. It just wouldn't work unless you wanted to spend 40$”

“SO GOOD & crazy inexpensive ($10 incl tip)! Prompt seating & service. Tables turn fast here at lunchtime. Food came out quickly. A small salad comes automatically with lunch. I forgot to ask for fried tofu, but their soft tofu is really good. Almost every entree can be vegetarian. The salad dressing is peanut sauce based & kinda spicy.Vegetarian options: Every menu item, except for the Thai chicken (an entree) can be vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant & Thai food has no dairy!Parking: About 12 parking places.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a low curb to the sidewalk to get in. Otherwise it's a flat entrance.”

“Love this old town, loved the old spot but happy they have expanded and grown. Tribute to their success. If I may voice one complaint, it would be the Ranch ? 1st world problem, but myself and anyone I have ever gone there with mentions the taste of the ranch as being less than appealing. Maybe a new recipe in the works? Haha, other than that myself and my family love this place.”
“This is our first time to try this great ice cream and beer restaurant. A nice change from the yogurt across the street. It has a great atmosphere, with awesome murals. “This is the only indian restaurant i have been too that has buffet on dinner and/or weekends. I have been to many indian restaurants so i can be a little picky. Food is decent, not the best decent but solid, almost average decent. Food can taste a little bland (some people would love that!). But.... for the price, this is a great deal! It also has plenty of vegetarian options. their garlic naan is actually pretty good compared to some indian restaurant. Their (buffet) deserts are actually one of the better ones esp the rice pudding/kheer which is on the refreshing side.”

“SHORT VERSION:A little pricey, but excellent food, service, and atmosphere made it worthwhile.LONG VERSION:I love finding out-of-the-way diners and trying them out. Sunrise is one of those places. It's in a neighborhood strip mall tucked a mile off the main highway through this part of the world, stuck beside a hardware store and an empty grocery market (but sharing parking with the local library branch). There were indoor and outdoor seating areas, both clean, and both busy.I had no wait, despite the late-morning Saturday crowd. There seemed to be both indoor and outdoor tables available the whole hour I was there, but the customers kept coming constantly.Withing two minutes of being seated, there was water and a menu before me. The server watched closely enough to be there to take my order just after I set down the menu. I ordered a strawberry waffle combo, one of my favorite breakfast orders during a first visit to any diner.I figured I'd get some work done while I waited, but by the time I had my keyboard paired to my tablet (about 7 minutes) the food hit the table. The waffle was perfectly done and there were a good number of strawberries on it. Also, four towers of whip cream - not too much! Sadly, whip cream from a can, but getting "proper" cream is an oddity these days. This was just fine.My egg was scrambled and done right. The bacon I had requested crispy was crispy, but not burned. Breakfast was great! One funny thing. There was a parsley garnish, I think. I found it under the bacon. It was a sprig about half the size of a dime. Now, that's as much parsley as anyone needs, but it was humorous to see it hiding under there.Everything was excellent. My only less-than-perfect note was that meal and tax (I had no drink but the water) came to $22 which is high for me. It was good enough I didn't mind, but it is expensive enough it won't be a regular haunt.Good work, Sunrise Cafe!”
“Uh...is there food? There must be something to eat ?.This is a dive bar, honey, keep your expectations lowish. “First time trying this place out. Brought my dad here for dinner. This inside is cooler than the outside. I ordered the bread sticks, pitcher of Coors light, medium taco pizza and a single salad. Funny story about the taco pizza is my dad and I used to get them back in the 90s from Godfathers(RIP) and it was sooooooo good. So I was excited to get one again because it had been a long time. This one was pretty good. Not a lot of toppings but still pretty good. Salad bar was solid. Beer was fresh, cold and served with ice cold glasses. The real winner though was the bread twists. Buttery, garlicy and cheese in it too. Loved them! Service was very friendly. Will totally be back. Can't wait to eat my leftovers today. Lol”

“I'm surprised that their rating is only 3 1/2 stars! We love Jersey Mike's! To have everything sliced fresh right in front of you is amazing. You never have to worry about deli meats swimming in juices, sitting in a tub for hours. My husband and I drop in from time to time for lunch and are never disappointed. We also had them cater an event at our home, and they did a great job. We even had some vegetarian and gluten free guests, and it was no problem to accommodate them. People comment that they're too expensive; that's not the case. Go to Subway and get more bread than meat, that "might" be cheaper but usually not. We moved to Auburn from SoCal 4 years ago; we also travel frequently in our motor home. We've been to Jersey Mike's all over the country, and are never disappointed. The service and food are very consistent, reliable and delicious!”

“This is not the best coffee, but it's not bad for 99% of people. They sort of do what Starbucks does, but with slightly better roasting practices. If you're getting a drip, pour over, or a shot, go somewhere else ( not Starbucks but a smaller independent places). But if you need a quick latte or don't like the taste of coffee in general, Peet's is a good choice.”

“For nearly 30 years, Tio Pepe's Mexican Restaurant and Cantina has been dishing out Mexican favorites, to Auburn, CA locals, visitors to "Old Town" Auburn, and travelers on nearby Interstate 80. It's become a "go-to" restaurant for delicious Mexican cuisine, to locals, visitors and travelers on nearby Interstate 80. Tio Pepe's has been dishing out fresh, family recipe Mexican cuisine for nearly 30 years, and the restaurant has become a favorite of Auburn locals, visitors to historic "Old Town," and travelers on nearby busy I-80 freeway. The restaurant is just a short couple blocks off the freeway, and has become a favorite of travelers heading east to Reno and beyond. As you enter the restaurant, you'll see the bar, and you'll be seated by your server. The floor seems to be a tad on the irregular side, so as the sign advises, please watch your step as you enter. Did you miss the colorful, delightful Mexican patio, complete with fountain before you entered the restaurant? During warm weather, the patio offers an amazing outdoor dining experience. "Lunch" menu, which is offered weekdays, excluding holidays, from 11:00 to mid afternoon. Just for the record, the "portion size" is just about right for lunch. If you are adventurous, or if your appetite is "larger than lunch," you can order from the "Dinner" side of the menu, which offers a wide array of choices, and bigger portions. From the weekday "Lunch" menu, I went with "Chilie Relleno," along with rice and beans, which are included with every lunch. The "Lunch" menu is offered Monday through Friday, from 11:00 until three in the afternoon, excluding holidays. Like most selections on the "Lunch" menu, it was priced at a reasonable $9.95. The menu describes this delicious entree as, "Chilie filled with cheese, deep fried and covered in Ranchera sauce. Served with rice and choice of refried or black beans." Like the trooper I am, I went with refried beans as my choice of beans. My "Chilie Relleno" began as a medium size chili pepper, most likely a "Hatch," which was stuffed with Mexican cheese, and deep fried to absolute perfection. The "Ranchera" sauce reminded me of chili/tomato based sauce that I've enjoyed to trips in Mexico, as it was definitely tomato based, but enjoyed lots of chili, and seasoning... you guessed it... cumin and garlic. The sauce was on the thick side, which covered the relleno perfectly, with just a hint of "heat," but the flavor was simply delicious! A small side of shredded cabbage and carrot was on the side, which made for a nice touch to my lunch, and it mixed well with the "Ranchera" sauce. Cabbage is very popular in Mexico, as you'll rarely find lettuce as a side, unless you're in a border or tourist town. The Mexican rice was solid, delicious, and included a tidbit of peas and carrots, which is rarely found in northern Mexico. I was surprised... Did I accidentally make my way to Mexico City instead of Auburn? Tio Pepe's website advertises their refried beans are vegetarian, which means the beans are free of lard and other animal products. I'm used to enjoying refried beans cooked in lard, but one taste of Pepe's refried beans made a believer in the "healthier side" of me, as delicious refried beans CAN be made without using lard! The refried beans were creamy, flavorful, and garnished with just a bit of melted, shredded Mexican cheese to enhance the taste of this amazing side. OK... I'm a believer in the refried beans served at Tio Pepe's Mexican Restaurant! I hear the recipe is a long-time family favorite, and it's served at the restaurant. Now the secret is posted on the web! You can't beat the price of the lunch, as it was $9.95, which included a basket of freshly-fried tortilla chips, along with the bowl of salsa cruda. The $5.00 price of a bottle of imported Pacifico beer is in line with ”

“I tried this restaurant at your Auburn location over the weekend. The food was great. But I especially wanted to do a shout out to your employee Alexis. She’s amazing. She was running the restaurant all by herself. Taking calls, in person orders, preparing food, doing dishes , etc. And smiled the entire time. She apologized for the wait, but in my opinion, having to do everything she did, by herself, there was absolutely no reason to apologize! You have a GREAT employee. I will be back for sure!”

“Was there 7/9/2023 in the evening. As far as Taco Bells go, I was quite satisfied. The food prepared was pretty close to what is advertised, as opposed to the bare minimum standards I usually experience at this chain. It's not gourmet fare, but it was done right for what is is. I don't think it was very busy, but the food was delivered quickly. There was also a reasonably clean public restroom.”
