“I am an amateur burger, critic, and Nancy’s burger. The black and blue was fantastic wonderful seasoning of melted blue cheese and fresh, chopped mushrooms and oil garlic. . And the french fries were wonderful and the tea is plentiful and tasty . Food and service was definitely a five star super friendly wonderful place.Vegetarian options: They do have their top three hamburgers have a vegetarian option to them. There may be other things on the menu, but I know the top three are available.“

“This place is a date night staple for us. We have taken the kids, but with the music nights we love to enjoy it as our getaway night out. I personally love the zucchini fries (well done) and pretty much order the Tuscan chicken every time. My husband gets simmering differently each time and has loved everything he’s had. The happy hour is great and the beer selection is pretty good. All in all we’re always coming back so that’s says something. Service has been iffy at times, but never horrible.“

“Just had my boys rehearsal dinner at this wonderful location. The banquet room was perfect for the 23 people that were at the dinner. Jennifer, the owner, was very easy to deal with and was very attentive to my family and guest. Erica, the server was super and made the evening flow perfectly. “We really like this restaurant. While Auburn has many good places to eat, Max's is one of the few places that feels a bit "nicer". So while the food is good (if not spectacular) the service is always pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere fairly quiet, and it feels "civilized". Note: However, the bar, situated in the middle of the restaurant, can become a bit loud, in which case all bets are off. All it takes is for one lonely patron on a bar stool to be having a conversation with the bartender, and everyone in the restaurant can hear it.“

“I tried this restaurant at your Auburn location over the weekend. The food was great. But I especially wanted to do a shout out to your employee Alexis. She’s amazing. She was running the restaurant all by herself. Taking calls, in person orders, preparing food, doing dishes , etc. And smiled the entire time. She apologized for the wait, but in my opinion, having to do everything she did, by herself, there was absolutely no reason to apologize! You have a GREAT employee. I will be back for sure!“
