“Food was great. Service was good. Food came in a decent amount of time. I left satisfied and not to overly full! I had a burger and shared a malt milkshake with husband. In my opinion a bit over priced… is worth the money…. Would I go out of my way for it … no.“

“I am an amateur burger, critic, and Nancy’s burger. The black and blue was fantastic wonderful seasoning of melted blue cheese and fresh, chopped mushrooms and oil garlic. . And the french fries were wonderful and the tea is plentiful and tasty . Food and service was definitely a five star super friendly wonderful place.Vegetarian options: They do have their top three hamburgers have a vegetarian option to them. There may be other things on the menu, but I know the top three are available.“

“Used to go to Awful Annie's in Lincoln. Haven't been to the Auburn location so we decided to go for breakfast. The food was the same (other than my toast coming out a little over toasted) but the service was not as good as we expected. My wife asked for extra olives in her Bloody Mary and didn't get them. I know but we've been spoiled by the great service in the Lincoln branch. We'll be back...UPDATE Went back, and had great service and great food! Yeah!“

“Visited 4/27/24. Asked the very nice waitress about the corned beef. She said it was good, but canned. No problem I appreciate the honesty and I liked canned at times if cooked well. It was!!! Great flavor and large portion along with perfectly cooked hash browns, also a large portion. Also had two eggs over medium. This is a basic as it gets for breakfast but not easy to make perfectly. The cook nailed it !!Loved the food, the vibe and service. We’re from Lincoln and this is now our new breakfast spot ! Thanks !“

“This was an amazing meal! I ordered the Chipotle burger it was really packed with flavor. If you're local you know, but it is so worth the stop if you are traveling through and want a good vegan/vegetarian burger. The pretzel roll was so soft and yummy and I'm not normally a fan, I am now.“

“SHORT VERSION:A little pricey, but excellent food, service, and atmosphere made it worthwhile.LONG VERSION:I love finding out-of-the-way diners and trying them out. Sunrise is one of those places. It's in a neighborhood strip mall tucked a mile off the main highway through this part of the world, stuck beside a hardware store and an empty grocery market (but sharing parking with the local library branch). There were indoor and outdoor seating areas, both clean, and both busy.I had no wait, despite the late-morning Saturday crowd. There seemed to be both indoor and outdoor tables available the whole hour I was there, but the customers kept coming constantly.Withing two minutes of being seated, there was water and a menu before me. The server watched closely enough to be there to take my order just after I set down the menu. I ordered a strawberry waffle combo, one of my favorite breakfast orders during a first visit to any diner.I figured I'd get some work done while I waited, but by the time I had my keyboard paired to my tablet (about 7 minutes) the food hit the table. The waffle was perfectly done and there were a good number of strawberries on it. Also, four towers of whip cream - not too much! Sadly, whip cream from a can, but getting "proper" cream is an oddity these days. This was just fine.My egg was scrambled and done right. The bacon I had requested crispy was crispy, but not burned. Breakfast was great! One funny thing. There was a parsley garnish, I think. I found it under the bacon. It was a sprig about half the size of a dime. Now, that's as much parsley as anyone needs, but it was humorous to see it hiding under there.Everything was excellent. My only less-than-perfect note was that meal and tax (I had no drink but the water) came to $22 which is high for me. It was good enough I didn't mind, but it is expensive enough it won't be a regular haunt.Good work, Sunrise Cafe!“

“We were in a hungry, on our way to a memorial service. We stopped in let the ladies know our time constraints. Ordered eggs, bacon;&toast. They rushed our order. My over medium eggs were perfect. We really appreciate all the staff who were a part of getting us on our way! We'll have to plan to stop in again & take our time to enjoy other menue choices.“

“5/13, Waitstaff are awesome. My meal cooked excellent. I was disappointed that Mgr came on board while waitstaff was in process to fix stawberry cheese cake to go. I have order this dessert several times. Mgr shooed wait staff away so he could complete dessert request. He placed my uncovered cheese cake in a card board box pouring strawberry sauce over the cheese cake. Why would you do this??Repeat local customer.“

“First time visiting and it was awesome! Great customer service and overall quality of food and drinks. Alexis G, our server, provided exceptional service. My husband wasn’t sure which beer to choose and she enthusiastically brought us 4 different samples. The food was delicious. We’d highly recommend the Brewer’s Board (sausage, smoked Gouda, pickled red onion, apples and more), and the Western Deluxe Trip Tip sandwich. So yummy! On Alexis’s recommendation, we tried the Nitro McFords Irish Red Ale. We loved it so much that we bought a 4-pack to go. We will definitely be back!“

“This is the best breakfast i’ve had in a while! The chipotle omelet was super good, the creamcheese is something i havent had before in an omelet but it tasted great. The biscuits and gravy were really good too. They werent the most savory, slightly sweet, but that way they didnt seem too heavy. We also got a burger which was also on point.Last i got some marmalade and raspberry jam for my toast. I was expecting smuckers packages but instead they brought out jam in glass jars which im suspecting is made from scratch. They were both delciious. The staff is also super friendly, they were really busy but there was more room than i thought inside and out. Def plan to go back some day!“

“This place is a date night staple for us. We have taken the kids, but with the music nights we love to enjoy it as our getaway night out. I personally love the zucchini fries (well done) and pretty much order the Tuscan chicken every time. My husband gets simmering differently each time and has loved everything he’s had. The happy hour is great and the beer selection is pretty good. All in all we’re always coming back so that’s says something. Service has been iffy at times, but never horrible.“

“We love this spot. We frequent Wings when we are visiting friends that live in the Roseville/Rocklin area. It's definitely worth the drive. The food is consistently good and it's fun to sit outside watching the planes come and go - particularly if you have a little one. The one negative is that they are busy. I wish ownership would forgo working with Grubhub and other food delivery services. We've been there where the service and kitchen staff are clearly overwhelmed and it seems the backlog is often due to the to go orders. On our most recent visit we had to wait 30 minutes after being seated for our server to be able to help us - she was literally running to service way too many tables for one person so clearly a staffing issue.“

“My kiddos wanted to get out of town so we headed up the hill. Burgers were on their radar so we searched what was available and we randomly stopped here. There was a light show parade going on which the kids thought was cool.I really didn’t have high hopes as too many highly rated burger joints in Sacramento can’t get it right (when did people forget to season meat?!?). But we were all blown away. Perfectly seasoned (FINALLY) and cooked burgers. Burger was very tasty, and melted in your mouth. Veg was fresh and crisp. Incredible fries and shakes that tasted home made. The 1/3 burger with medium fries was spot on for serving size.Sure the place could use a coat of paint and some upkeep. But the burgers are bargain priced the staff super friendly. This is now my fave burger joint outside NYC.“

“Hung out inside on a very rainy day. The food and drink was great. Enjoyed looking outside through the big windows. However, it was freezing inside. Might have been warmer in the tent. Was wishing for a fireplace. I know it's awesome outside on warm days though.Parking: Street parking only.“

“The food is really good, fresh, and flavorful. Portions are ample. The restaurant is located in an old but renovated, Auburn house which is expansive and bright. It's across from the old town Auburn courthouse and a very short stroll from the cool old downtown. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices are in line in with prices charged by nice independent or non chain restaurants but the prices are reasonable. Our lunch for 4 without cocktails but with tax was about $95 so just over $20 a person. Tap and Vine has their own free parking off the street. This is a plus because parking in the old town area can be tough. We really liked this restaurant.“
