“Such great Chinese food! I'm glad they're open on Tuesdays now. I usually get pick up for Chicken Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, or Shanghai noodles. The food is always perfect and delicious. Today though... I ordered SnS Chicken and when I went to pick it up they had told me they are no longer mixing the sauce in because it gets soggy. I love it soggy!! And it's not even soggy. Just a perfect sauce mix ratio. So who ever complained about it being soggy... you just ruined it!!! I'll order it next time and ask that the sauce is mixed in.“

“Great little restaurant for fast sushi. The staff and owners are amazing. They have pretty good sushi for pretty decent prices. However, I feel like for the price that you're paying you could probably get better sushi in town elsewhere. This sushi place is delicious is probably somewhere between, a high and sushi and a low and sushi place. Overall their rolls and their menu in general is pretty delicious. I'd highly recommend popcorn lobster roll. It's one of their staples and it's delicious.“
“I've been coming to this place for many years and the service was and continues to be great. I love the chicken bowl. It's really tasty and tbh you get a lot of food for your buck. I have nothing but good things to say about this place!“

“They have the best American style Chinese takeout in Burbank. I had a hard time finding a place when I moved here and they were right under my nose! Lovely employees, good value, great portions.I will say they do close a bit early for what I would have thought for a Chinese restaurant but it is a pretty quiet suburban neighborhood.“

“Service was great, location was great, food was delicious! Food is light and doesn't leave you feeling sluggish! I had the rice and chicken dish while my cousin had the pork banh mi. She says the pork was cooked to perfection and not fatty at all!“

“We were looking for dinner last night and decided to give silverlake ramen a chance. We ordered the Garlic truffle and the shoyu on fire. The portion size was okay, we both got pork with one piece in each bowl. The flavor was good but it wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked it to be. I got the garlic truffle and added chili paste to it. I couldn't really taste the garlic & if you're going to call it garlic truffle those flavors should be strong. The chili paste gave it the kick it needed and enhanced the taste. Now I don't think this would be my first pick next time I want ramen, but if I want gyozas this would be the spot. I didn't get a picture of them but they aren't your typical gyoza. These were rich in flavor and the texture was great . During our time there the waiter was friendly and checked on us a few times.“

“The ambience is great! Very nice and homey spot. The staff was very kind too. We ordered a bit of everything.Pros:Prices are very good for all the dishes. Nothing was over 15 dollars on the menu. The shrimp wontons and pan fried pork buns were the best items with the most flavor. The beef roll was huge in size. Great for people that enjoy cucumber and thicker slices of the meat. The bean curd salad had a nice bite and flavor to it. They also have sparkling water on tap!Cons:Parking is bad. Getting street parking is like winning the lottery. The other option is to pay for parking which can range between 10-30 dollars. The dan dan noodles and sha gua mian did not meet our expectations. The noodles seemed a bit overcooked and a sauce/acid could have given the dish more of a balance in flavor. Our table marker was taken off the table a little early and that's when we saw on the receipt that a missing item was added incorrectly. Our server fixed it promptly so that was great.“

“We really liked the food! Both got noodles, one street noodle with chicken and one pad see ew with chicken. Prices are super reasonable and the food tastes good, especially compared to some of the other options in the area. Excited to try more of their food. Chill music and good service. Nice casual option.“

“YOOO, this place is BOMB!! I got the Curry Ramen with Egg and I couldn’t believe how good it was. GREAT curry broth - well-spiced but not spicy. Nice noodles and meat too. Wish it had a bit more meat though. I’m from Hawai’i and grew up on Japanese Curry and Ramen. It really tasted like home. They were playing some good reggae music when we were there, so it sounded like home too.Went here because the other ramen place we wanted to go to down the street was an hour wait. So glad we did! We (party of 3) were seated right away on a Saturday night. We sat outside in the covered area. It was a cold night out but their heaters were so good that I took off my jacket and was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Nice waiters - did a great job at checking on us in case we needed anything. DEFINITELY coming back the next time I’m in the area. Will be bringing more friends along too.Parking: Parking sucks at night on the weekend, but that’s common in this area. I got free street parking as I parked after the time you have to pay. I wanna say past 8?“

“Tsujita La Artisan Noodle Annex is the best Dipping Ramen ( Tsukemen ) in LA , closest noodles I’ve felt in Japan. Here the noodles are thick and springy, they kept separate from garlicky and flavorful broth to maintain the chewable. It’s perfect for me!“

“Authentic, tasty, explosive. The Golden Tree Restaurant, located in the heart of Chinatown LA is a pillar - albeit a young one - of this community.Humble interiors, which refer to the Asian motherland. Chairs and tables that served workers, mothers and friends. Smell of life going on.From lambchops to orange chicken, from fried rice to Mongolian beef, my palate was karate-chopped from the beginning to the end of the meal. The kind staff, honest prices and divine quality of food make the Golden Tree a unique pearl in this concrete ocean that is the city of Angels.“

“Totally worth the 70 minute drive. Delicious food and great Taiwanese hospitality. Friendly, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Minced Pork (Lu-Rou) Rice, fully loaded delicious stewed pork with egg. Meats are juicy and tender, kinda on the sweet side. Clamshell bun (Gua Bao) comes with tender thick cut pork, a bit on the salty side, but very well cooked. Fatty but not greasy. Thousand layer pancake with egg and basil was crispy and flaky. The basil flavor is a wonderful addition. Scallion bread sandwich was what we expected. Same tender thick cut pork, very happy to eat this. Next time I will probably get the beef, too much pork belly today Wonton soup is very classic, if you like shrimp wontons, you have to try this. We ended the meal with Hakka mochi and Oolong tea, the mochi tasted just like the ones in Taiwan. The tea was fragrant and is just the perfect compliment to the mochi. Overall an amazing meal with warm and friendly people, highly recommend!“

“Compared to a few years back this street food spot has gained a few more food stalls to neighbor it. There is now a bbq meet place, a salad and fresh foods place and a dessert one. I got three plates, one pad Thai, one pork fried rice and one of their new ground pork with egg dish. Pad Thai is good as always, fried rice was lacking flavor as before but they have seasoning for you to use. Their ground pork with egg was so good but holy crap it was spicy. It did have a good spice though I recommend it.“

“After seeing some vids about how great the mul naeng myun is here, I had to come try with my family. My sister and I got the mul naeng myun and my grandma got the sagol dduk mandu guk (ox bone soup with rice cake and dumplings). The broth of the naeng myun was clear and crisp, but a little bland, I had to put in a lot of the mustard paste and vinegar to increase the flavor. Overall, I liked the thinness and texture of the noodles, but the flavor of the soup was nothing too out of the ordinary. The banchan though... deserves a standing ovation. The side dishes were fresh, well seasoned, and Korean grandma approved. I think I preferred my grandma's rice cake soup to my naeng myun, but I would be willing to come back and try their other dishes. We got a pajeon (chive pancake) on the side as well, which was crispy and came with a lovely soy sauce on the side. The waitresses were also very attentive and kind. The restaurant was nearly empty when we walked in for a late lunch on a weekday. Overall a great experience :)“

“We’ve been to many, many Thai restaurants in LA and this one is about to become our favorite! We had 3 dishes and they all were absolutely delicious. The satay chicken appetizer was the best one we ever had. You gotta try it. The vegetarian papaya salad was so good with just the right level of hotness we asked for and the chow menu with tofu was so delicious we licked it off the plate. Service was excellent and the place is warm and fun to be in. Highly recommended ❤️“

“I love their noodles so much. It was my first tome trying their spicy menu and woah, no joke, it was soooo spicy that I couldn’t eat much. I’m not saying it is bad, it was amazing actually but I just can’t handle spicy food very well. I’m going to stick to my regular noodle, but I’m glad I tried. Especially Jjolmyeon, try if you can handle their spicy level. It was an amazing one bite for me and my friend finished it and paid for it the next day iykyk lol. Their kimchi pancake is amazing! Not that spicy and perfectly seasoned. Their dumplings are the best in ktown btw in my personal opinion.“

“Rakkan Ramen in downtown LA is a fantastic dining experience. The broth is rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. The noodles are cooked to perfection, and the toppings are fresh and abundant. The vegan options are a highlight, offering delicious alternatives without compromising on taste. The ambiance is cozy and the service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommend for any ramen enthusiast!“

“We wanted something healthy but flavorful for dinner and happened upon this place in the neighborhood, pretty no frills on the inside. Clearly a big focus on deliveries, but there's plenty of tables. We each got a steak banh mi and WOW was it good! So much flavor, and the bread was perfect; hard enough to hold it together, but easy to bite into. The crispy spring rolls were perfect as well, clearly freshly made and decently sized. We also split some noodles and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Definitely will be back.“

“Bursting with flavors and tastes homemade, I’m a big fan of Holy Basil. They do not carry Thai tea but they do carry a fantastic selection of fine wine, sake, sparkling wine and beer.Their seating area is a whole vibe and makes you feel like you’re in Thailand with the red crates and red plastic stools. No modifications to orders, and honestly they know best!Favorite dishes are the Moo Krob Slab (takes 48 hours to prep before it’s baked then fried.)Their Grandma’s Fish Fried rice literally tastes like someone’s grandma cooked a dish that everyone raves about. Their egg rolls are long and thin, definitely a favorite too.“

“Been going here since before the Pandemic and it's always great! However, today they asked us to see our Vax Cards and Id's, that was a little uncomfortable. If I was the owner, I'd loosen up on that and not do what you're told. It's your business and it's on its last legs. It was much better when YOU called the shots and not the Government. Otherwise foods usually good and authentic.“

“The 2024 Smorgasburg season kicked off today, 1/14/2024! While it is not close to me, I usually go at least once or twice a month. It's an ideal spot for outdoor dining with diverse culinary offerings, exploring distinctive shops, and soaking in a positive atmosphere.Smorgasburg LA is open every Sunday on the five-acre site of the weekday Alameda Produce Market in Downtown Los Angeles, which is part of a larger, new development called ROW DTLA.Each Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM, you will find dozens of exciting food vendors plus sophisticated shopping from the realms of design, craft, style, vintage, wellness, and more. Cultural events, pop-ups, and other surprises transform the vast site into a new node in Downtown LA's burgeoning scene, and a unique destination for the area.Today, I tried Pad See Ew from the Radna Silom vendor. In terms of rating for that, I want to give it 4.5 stars due to price and portion ($15+tax and not much on the plate). I remember it being larger before.Overall, it is a must-check out for various foodie options.Tip:-Free 2 hr parking-Take your food outside of the main space and sit in the main ROW area-Go with others to try many things“

“Dropped in on a whim for lunch yesterday and could not have been more wowed... my wife and I got their cheese and mushroom tasting menu which was extremely reasonably priced for the extremely high quality food and service we received. Despite the electric feeling of the open kitchen in the center of the bar, it never felt panicked or frantic. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by a manager who filled us in on their menu and the concept of the restaurant (fresh pasta shipped from Italy daily including eggs the likes of which can only be found there!). Then, an equally friendly and helpful server came and grabbed our order. After a few minutes, I was surprised to see one of the chefs himself whip around from working over a burner to plate our pasta for us straight out of the pan and present us with our first course (as he would continue to do for each subsequent course). He smiled saying, "Oooh, this is a velvety one! The pasta water must be really good today... You'll love this!" He seemed just as excited as we were. I also got a glass of vermentino to wash everything down, but I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes and other wines on their list. The entire experience just felt so passionate and organic in its approach to simple but perfected pasta dishes. The best part is undoubtedly the pasta itself, but it was a nice cherry on top to see this is a "no tipping" restaurant that charges a 16% pre-tax service fee... I assume this place just pays their workers what they deserve because DAMN they worked as a team flawlessly. I just love everything about this place now, so I highly recommend you go.“

“It was my first time dining at Thai Central. It is a gem in East Hollywood for a Thai food. The food is very tasty. We ordered a few things, Kao Clook Ka phi, Boat noodle, and Papaya salad - the was delicious. And awesome service - from getting our order in and getting the food from the kitchen to our table. I like the cleanliness of the restaurant. We dropped the lid of something on the floor , and the server took the lid from us, he cleaned it and brought it back - impressive. Very nice and friendly servers, great food!“

“low-key authentic Korean restaurant. The ahjumma was so nice to us!Food is great:banchan (side dishes) - lots of variety! I liked the seaweed, fish cake, kimchi radish, and bean sprouts.Specials #13 seafood pancake $19.99 - Good. Not overloaded with green onions. The sauce that came with it could have been saltier.Specials #9 chicken stew $25.99 - spicy! Chicken was cooked well. Lots of potatoes. The small bones are annoying.#22 stone pot bibimbap $14.99 - tasty. The ahjumma brought out a bowl of gochujang filled to the top. It was good and not too sweet.#9 chewy spicy noodles $13.99 - delicious. I'd get this again. Came with a soft boiled egg.Specials #12 stir-fried squid $24.99 - I'd get this again too. The rice cake was eh, but the squid was good. Not too spicy.Prices are a bit high, but so is everywhere else right now. The menu is extensive but has some solid favorites. They have a small parking lot in this plaza, so it wasn't hard to find at 7 PM on a week night. Typical of a local Korean joint, they post menu items with prices on the walls. Even better - they have pictures of the food!“

“We decided to give this location another try and we were blown away by all of the delicious meals they prepared. The shrimp pad see ew was flavored to perfection. The crab fried right was just right and the spicey fried rice was balanced with the right amount of heat. You can always request the kitchen to turn up or turn down the spice level according to your taste buds. Try the lychee martini, you will thank me later. The service was five-star from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a local date night. We had a great time guys, thank you and we will see you guys again soon.“
