“great place. friendly staff, great and quality drinks, and great and quality food. only downsides, not the biggest place and easy to miss if you're driving by. also, small place so you may leave smelling of fried food. guac and chips, nice. avocados super fresh queso and chips, fire. haven't had queso this good in I dunno how long shrimp with asparagus with rice, bold flavors. very savory dish, recommended if you want garlic, saucy, and shrimp. overall, highly recommended and would frequent often if I'm in the area.“

“Recently in the area and in the mood for a good steak burrito with black beans. Unfortunately, they only do burrito bowls (gluten free guidelines). Was able to get a steak quesadilla tho. Good quality steak, fresh quac and pico de gallo. But it had grilled fresh corn off the cob on it--interesting. Good taste, good service, but way too expensive--$21 + $1.30 packaging fee. Lots at courtyard like seating. Next to a full service bar. Big screen tvs. Busy seating area tho.“

“Special players, special chefs, special times. A truly fantastic experience filled with flavor. It is definitely a tapas style dining experience. I didn't even look at the menu to be honest, someone in our party ordered everything and I think we had a little taste of everything chef was making. Everything was fantastic. We sat out side for an authentic street exp, wasn't too cold either with the heat lamp on our buns. Compliments to the chef and their staff.“

“What a charming place. After a comedy show at the Paramount, we were looking for something to eat and this place was on our way to the motel. It was really hopping in there. They squeezed us into the lounge area, which was really comfortable. We didn't order a lot of things, but what we had was really good! Empanadas and plantains with shredded beef. We had a mocktail as well which was delicious.Loved the shared plate thing too!“

“Loved their Al pastor cauliflower tacos! They're delicious! Haven't seen this vegetarian option on menus. We also got the mushroom cheese dish to share. They give about 6 fresh tortillas with it. Great for sharing between 2-4 ppl. Great service. The decor and the vibe of the place totally goes with the menu. Came here for a friend's birthday. We were group of 10 ppl or so!“

“Waystone is a super cute neighborhood wine bar. I highly recommend going here for a little happy hour after work or to enjoy on the weekend with friends. The bartender name is very kind and helpful and educating you about which wine you'd like most. In addition to wine we also ordered the chicken bites and the spinach dip which were both delicious.“

“Nice small tapas place owned by a couple of guys from Madrid in the Mission. +++ great location +++ lots of tapas to pick from +++ fast friendly service +++ nice owners and wait staff ++++ convenient and easy street parking +++ Blue Cheese Croquetas was awesome. +++The tinned Mussells were delicious. +++ Very tasty burnt cheesecake +/- Chicken skewers - chicken was very tender but lackluster on flavor. - stuffed pepper with salt cod way too salty for me. “Shockingly delicious food. Like, the best food I've eaten at a place that still feels very much like a bar. Good drinks, comfortable seating. It's a great place to hang out with others. I recently had the roasted cabbage salad and it was outstanding.“

“Fenikusu is one of favorite sushi restaurants. If you like Ju-Ni, The Shota, Wako, Hinata, you'll enjoy Fenikusu but in a different great way. The quality is terrific and at a neighborhood friendly price point. Please note that Fenikusu is about sushi so expect great, delicious Otoro and no California rolls. Lastly, it's a super date night spot!“

“The food was a 7/10, I got the chicken and it could have been cooked a little bit more. The hummus never misses here, high recommend (barcha's hummus). The service was a little slow for my liking, they get very busy at lunchtime and are often times spread thin. On a nice day, highly encourage sitting outside!“

“Finally tried this little gem on San Pablo Avenue after passing it for years saying, ‘I gotta try that little gem’.A couple friends and I managed to get a same day reservation at the corner of the bar, which worked out perfectly. We ordered exclusively from the tapas menu, and I’m glad we did although I’m sure their paella and mains are equally exquisite.Everything from their BIMI to cheese platter, to croquettes and churros for desert were a delight. Each plate had its own distinct and satisfying flavor, and nothing we ordered disappointed.I suggested the octopus which sounded splendid, but my friends protested that octopuses (octopi?) were too smart to eat, so we compromised on their dumb cousins, squid. Dumb maybe, delicious certainly!Being a dedicated carnivore, I had little hope for the mushroom croquettes , but they were also scrumptious. Better yet were the chicken and crab croquettes, with each of us expressing a preference for one or the other. If you have to chose, I say go for the crab and my friends would say go for the chicken. The best solution is to order them both! The atmosphere of La Marcha is ‘classy casual’, and very lovely. Every table seemed to be celebrating something, much like you’d expect on a warm summer evening in Barcelona. As the saying goes, “You can judge a person by the company they keep” and I think this can be applied to La Marcha’s ownership. He/She/They must be remarkable people to attract the kind of talented chefs and servers who made our evening complete.I was too shy to ask our server her name, but I think one of the other (regulars?) called her Seejay (which isn’t a real name… I Googled it), or Cindy (a name I haven’t heard since the Brady Brunch). I’ll go with Seejay because it is as uncommon and unexpected as this young lady. Anyway, you’ll know who I am talking about when you go there. Seejay fills the room with her beauty and charisma, and she seemed to be one-person army. I don’t know if they were understaffed that day, or if Seejay just takes on the responsibility for the entire restaurant, but she seemed to be everywhere at once, and yet the level of service she provided my party made us all feel like we were sitting in the VIP section of some swanky club. I hope and trust that the ownership recognizes what a blessing they have with Seejay (or Cindy… whatever).Well, that’s about it. If you are still hesitant to give La Marcha a try, then all I can say is thatyou are more squid than octopus.“

“This is my favorite cafe in SF, and I always make a point to come while I'm there. My fav is the breakfast muffin with all the fixings. The bagels, crostinis and baked goods are great aswell. It's a really small space so try to grab a seat outside or just do take out.“

“Small wine bar in the heart of Russian Hill. Perfect spot for 2-3 people, since most of the seating is bar seating or communal tables. All the servers are knowledgeable about the wine selection and always have great recommendations. I love their orange wines and all the food is amazing. They make beautiful cheese plates and pair the cheeses perfectly with jams and honey. If you can't decide what cheeses to order, tell them what you like/dislike and they will curate the perfect board for you!“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting family at CPMC. I enjoy finding different cuisines when in SF and Piroo was a great find. While they don’t have an extensive menu, they have more than enough options to suit any tastes. I had the pork jhol momo and it was great. Just the right amount of savory and spice to make it memorable. They also serve beer and wine to round out your meal.“

“I love this restaurant. The pan con tomate is one of the best things I've ever eaten. A lot of people complain about the price, but you're getting extremely high-end food that would cost even more at a stuffy restaurant. Everything is high quality and meticulously put together. Also, it's a wine bar. If you want large portions and want to be a glutton then go to Applebees...“

“A unique brunch spot. I had the pandan waffle and fried chicken which was tasty. The waffle was cold and a wee bit soggy but good flavour. Someone else had the bo luc lac and the beef was super duper tender and juicy but also very sweet. The shrimp Benedict was quite good and the chicken sammie was good but the star of that was the French fries they were spectacular. The service was friendly and good. There's no atmosphere but still a place I'll go back to.“

“Just had a phenomenal meal with a large group to celebrate a great friend. The food was incredible - we seriously had almost every item on the menu. Everything was delicious but my top three were the Lechon Paella, the Tomate, and the Chuleton; it was difficult to not eat second and third helpings of each of those, but I knew we had several more tasty dishes to come. The service was fantastic; my sangria and water glasses were full at all times and we never had a moment without something yummy on the table in front of us. We had quite a bit left over and everything was boxed a labeled for us so we could take home more of what we loved. I highly recommend Bellota if you have a special occasion or if you just want to have a fantastic dining experience.“

“I love it here! The food is fabulous. As you can see from my photos, I have been here more than a few occasions to eat chicken and waffles in different ways! Breakfast, snack and dinner versions! “Do you like a place that's locally owned, well this is the place. The owner is there working with the staff making sure everyone is having a great time. Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.“

“I'm a big fan of squid ink paella and this is one of the best I've tasted in my travel experiences, including the paellas I tried in Madrid and Valencia in Spain, and a Spanish restaurant in San Jose, Bay Area. We were really delighted and pleased with the squid ink paella - good texture of rice, not overly salty and calamari were perfectly cooked. We loved the happy hour Sangria (ordered a pitcher), fresh oysters were great and the deep fried anchovies were tasty (although it would be better if crispier).Friendly and extremely efficient staff. We'll come back very soon for the second round!!!“

“Great hotel restaurant, but ridiculously overpriced. I met a co-worker for a business breakfast, and it cost me over $60 for myself alone for eggs Benedict, black coffee, and orange juice. It was good, but it was as good as other places where I've paid half that price. Buyer beware.“

“My fiance and I visit this restaurant before a recent concert located at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. We ordered drinks and pizza. Both were reasonably priced and were generous serving sizes. The setting was similar to a lounge/speakeasy vibe. It was a beautiful restaurant where we were able to get seated quickly in the early afternoon. During our visit we noticed it getting busier as time went on. If you plan on visiting during dinner hours we suggest that you make a reservation. The quality food, attentive service, and beautiful spacious setting was memorable. We will be visiting this restaurant whenever we are in the area.“

“Top of the Mark in San Francisco impresses with its blend of old-world charm and breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Nestled atop the historic InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, this iconic sky lounge offers a unique vantage point from which to enjoy a sunset or a glittering night sky. The ambiance is steeped in a bygone era, making it a perfect spot for those seeking a touch of nostalgia along with their drink. Ideal for both tourists and locals alike, Top of the Mark remains a quintessential San Francisco experience.“

“I found this place on yelp, my wife and I decided to go. The place is cozy, the food average, wine a bit expensive, the bartender was nice and attentive. I'll give a 4 out 5. I can recommend this place but they have to improve a few things on the menu.“

“What a find. My wife and I were strolling down Valencia on a beautiful Tuesday night looking to grab some dinner. We stopped because of the mellow 3 piece band playing and the seemingly delicious menu, which did not disappoint!! First, the wine...wifey had a delicious "natural"' Chardonnay that was crisp and light, reminiscent of a cider. I had 3 different reds - a round the world trip starting in Portugal, Chile then Spain (my favorite). The food?! Well, outstanding!! Quinoa salad, Pancetta and caramelized onion flatbread, ending with a Spanish potato tapa. Ya gotta come here!! The service was fee-nomenal!! , great wait staff and very knowledgeable and friendly.“

“?full stars for an amazing happy hour experience?I cant believe this spot has open tables when we came in at 530 to catch their happy hour.Everything was absolutely delicious, my favorite was the crab sunomono and the wagyu skewer. The pork kimchi and gyozas were also very tasty. The dishes that I thought were good but nothing to write home about were the fried chicken skin and agedashi tofu.Service was spectacular and the music and overall vibe was great. 10/10 will come again! For 3 people we paid $188 with tip, which included 2 cocktails.Vegetarian options: There are some veggie dishes on the menu, nuts it's predominantly meat based.“

“My go-to spot for takeout! I love coming here when I want a hearty meal. It's a relatively small spot that only accommodates takeout orders. They take online and in-person orders and service is always pretty fast. There are also some outdoor tables right across the street that can be a nice area to enjoy your meal. My favorite menu item is the chicken rice plate but I'm also a huge fan of the short rib and salmon rice plates as well. Pictured is the three item rice plate with chicken and short rib. Portions are always generous and for the price point I would say it's excellent value. I love the side of edamame as well!“

“My favorite part of this establishment? The sound system. You will hear clean bass coming out of those speakers. I literally sat there, people watched, enjoyed the vibe, food and drinks. “Wow! That should encapsulate everything I'm about to say. To start things off to a strong warm welcoming for me, duck as a protein is a sign that this place was meant to be. The duck tacos with guacamole and pomegranate seeds were a nice end to my day. I confess I'm now using pomegranate when I roast a duck! At Fonda, the meat is tender, juicy, and so flavorful. An unexpected treat! The fried plantains are delightful and they're paired with black beans, cream, and salsa molcajete. If you're not a fan of overtly spicy things, like me, get the salsa on the side as I will in the future but regardless, all things were tasty! The drinks are well made and thoughtful. It didn't feel like I was just ordering from a generic drink menu. The Fonda drink was delightful. Overall I suggest this place for lovers of Latin food. On my try list: mushroom empanadas, tuna tartare, and fish tacos. I believe I shall pair it with an Idle Hands cocktail! Great job to the chefs and staff at Fonda!“

“What a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. After several attempts to eat here,I finally went when they were open and was delighted at the not too busy, somewhat quiet vibe.If you get a house special roll, make sure it's the Bobby G Roll! I love soft shell crab, so if that sounds tasty, this is for you. There are two different yummy sauces that come with it, and the presentation is nice. The sauce can be overkill, so wipe at your own discretion.Sashimi is cut a bit on the smaller side but still tasted fresh and good. I like that they had a 5 PC nigiri sampler. It came with salmon belly, and the chef even brought it out himself, which was a nice touch.I like the convenience of ordering as you please on screen using a combo of bullet train and human assisted robot delivery methods. Staff is kind and sincere, and I didn't feel rushed. This place has a homey vibe, and with that, $11.99/pp AYCD is a great option for a date, quick meal, or fun small group of 4.Check this place out. I'll definitely be back to try other things as the menu isn't deep, but from what I tried, they prepare what they offer well.“
