“This is an absolutely wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The quality is more fine dining and both the seating inside and the patio are lovely. They don't rush you out, so we had a family birthday party and everyone could hear each other and we didn't feel like we had to hurry up and eat. It is the birthday lady's favorite restaurant - wish there was another one in Elk Grove! food is consistently excellent and service is considerate, if a bit slow due to perceived understaffing. Trying to catch them on the phone is a challenge. I literally called back the minute I saw a missed call and no one called me for a week to respond to my message. Then when they did call and I missed the call I again called back immediately and it again went straight to an answering machine and I got no call back from my message to clarify their inquiry. So I was not sure what we were going to encounter when we arrived. I thought maybe a trainee was making the calls but it turned out to be a manager, so I'm confused by the phone thing. It created some stress because it was a BIG birthday party and I wasn't sure what the no response meant. Sorry to be picky but it did scare me.“

“I can't believe this place has been opened for a year and I am just now trying it. In 3 days, my wife and I have had the BLT, Chipotle Turkey Club, Gyro wrap, and Falafel wrap. Bread and Falafels are made in-house by the owner, Ramzi. Super nice guy. This is notched on as one of my favorite places already.“

“Stumbled upon Divided Sky while looking for a place to set up my laptop and get some work done. This was a great choice. Steady foot traffic, but not crazy loud. Lots of interior seating and outdoor seating as well. The music was groovy but not distracting. Bourdain on the TV. Loved the decor and locally made art. Friendly staff and mellow vibes. I'd say the setting is welcoming for anyone. The food: I'm a snob for fried chicken sandwiches and they passed the test. I approve of this place and will be back!“

“Iv been here once before with my fiance , we came back today , I got the BLT &' it was delicious!! (I added avocado &' got a large amount , which is fine , I love avocado! ) All of the staff are super nice &' very welcoming! I love the fact they call out the order by name &' they also make sure they repeat your order when giving it to you that way there is no mix ups ! This little shop is amazing , we will definitely be back !“

“I stopped by for lunch here. Initially it was pretty chilly in the restaurant while waiting for the food to arrive. They must had overheard some of us talking about how cold it was because the heater seemed to be turned on. The food took a little long. I had ordered the drunken noodle. It was great I had it at spicy level 4. Maybe should had went to the max for some heat. It was clean inside. Waiter was good to us.“

“The food here has been continually surprising me with delightful items I've never had before. The Thai red curry is beautiful,. I ordered medium spicy and it was perfect for me but a bit over spicy for my wife. But she loved it anyway! Goes great with the Beerlao from Laos. It's rich and hoppy for a lager like Singha, but crisper. If you love Pad Thai like I do, you'll need to give it a try. Finally, try the fried sweet potato appetizer. It's somewhat like tempura but less fluffy and it has a great hot and sweet flavor!“

We had the Birria Tacos, Chips & Cheese, a Bean and Cheese Burrito and a Steak Mulitas. I have to start with the restaurant. It was so clean. The napkins, cutlery, and salsa fridge were well stocked. Starting with the Chips and Cheese. The chips were warm and fresh. The cheese was warm and just spicy enough for both my husband and I to enjoy. The portion of cheese sauce was perfect. It was 3 times the size you get at other taco joints. The Birria was so good. The consome was hot (temperature) and spiced perfectly. The tacos were not lacking in the amount of meat at all. They were very fresh. The Steak Mulitas was also stuffed with meat, and avocado. It tasted fresh and meat was well seasoned. The Bean Burrito was a generous size with lots of cheese. The beans were whole instead of smashed and had good seasoning as well. The only negative thing was that they were out or Horchata, but they had so many other options for drinks it really didn't matter. I cannot remember the last time I was surprised by a visit to a "fast food" restaurant before today. It was great food, a very clean location, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!“
