“Best hot pot in SFV! Always come here when we want some amazing flavors for a worthy price. Recommend asking for the garlic sauce and peanut sauce. Love spicy so asked for chili oil and flakes. The portions are great, come hungry. 100% recommend to anyone and come frequently“

“I walk by this place daily and it's always so busy. I decided to try it for myself and it was delicious. Everything seemed fresh and full of flavor. The waiters were all super sweet and attentive to our needs. We went for lunch so it wasn't as busy as it normally is, which was nice because the space is a little tight given its all bar seating. They play good music and it's a fun atmosphere. There's plenty of street parking and valet (10-15$). I will say this spot is on the pricer side, Im not convinced the meal was worth the price give theres an omekase down the street.“

“If you want to experience authentic no substitute beautiful sushi please come here. Outside, a very unassuming strip mall. (fun fact: Superbad's notorious Liquor store is in the same strip mall.) I started coming here about 15 years ago, so this review is long overdue. The Omakase experience is truly a magnificent journey. The price is very good, and the service is great. The staff keeps the food coming, and also makes sure to refill drinks in a timely fashion. I'm so happy their still around, and I will continue to come and experience this one of a kind place.“

This location you have to walk in to make an appointment or just be a walk-in. They are so busy they can't answer the phone. The food is worth the wait trust. The owner is an OG. “Stood the test of time! Was in their neck of the woods and swung by to see if they're still serving up teriyaki goodness and was pleasantly surprised they still have the same friendly cook and setup as it was in the 90's. Somehow salt and pepper have found its way up on top of his head as it has mine, and it hasn't lessened the tasty consistency of the food he delivers. Generous portions of their staples with rice and noodles is as good as ever! The only sour thing about the place are their prices. Of course they won't survive should they have kept their fees in the $4/5 range. Quite reasonable to this day.“

“Food is always good. My husband likes the sashimi deluxe platter. And I love the two-item dinner special with saba and beef short ribs. The grilled saba is juicy and full of flavor, better than my home made broiled saba. And the Japanese salad dressing is probably more authentic than those in other restaurants. “My fourth trip to this establishment for lunch and not my last. I go for their lunch specials on rolls and bento boxes. 1/2 off on designated rolls and 30% off on bento boxes. Ordered a three item bento box which also came with rice, salad, miso soup, sushi, and gyozo. All fresh and tasty. Ordered an additional roll at 1/2 off. I did not leave one morsel behind on my plate. And service is fast and attentive. It's a great lunch option.“

“I’ve been in USA for 8 years and I’ve never been able to enjoy sushi rolls as much as I used to back in my home country. I’ve been to 50 states and I tried it in every state. “Hands down, the best Poke place I have eaten at. I travel for work and I love Poke and I try to visit local Poke restaurants where I'm visiting. The large selection of seafood and toppings makes for a great meal. I love the spicy tuna, the shrimp and scallops. I usually get two scoops of crab meat and add avocado, edamame, cilantro and spicy Poke sauce. I never get tired of eating it. Co-workers say it is the best Poke restaurant they have ever eaten at. They have pretty loyal clientele. You can order online, although I have never done that, and pick up your order. There isn't a lot of seating and it's a large long table in the center and a section against the wall where you can sit and eat. Seating is usually available and most people I noticed take out their order. The parking lot is small and you can usually find parking on the street if necessary. I totally recommend this place. The owner is nice, the management is nice, the step is incredibly friendly and it's just a pleasure eating really good healthy food at this location.“

No, like I order it everywhere I go. This restaurant had one of my favorite spicy tunas in LA. Fantastic job. Other rolls were great as well :)“

“This sushi establishment is one of my top favorites. Ive eaten here since 2013, and I can confirm the restaurant only kept on getting better. The chefs always do such a good job on presentation and the overall taste of the food. The waiters are always so kind and polite as well. The atmosphere is also one of the main things I love about this place. The dim lighting, the cleanliness, and the outside eating area. Even at times when its crowded, theres this sense of calmness I always feel when I eat here with my mom. Anyway, love Blue Fish!!!“

“Food was great as we went with our family of 6. Wife and I had sushi while the kids enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries. The service was on point and they were very attentive to our needs. The ambiance was nice and family friendly with a bunch of seating for larger groups and even a sushi bar if you wanted to sit and eat at the bar.“
