“I've been coming here for a long time and let me say - one of my FAVORITE go-to's in the area. The furikake ahi I crave at least once a month! I haven't ordered a bad item from here, and they always come for decent prices and a small, family-run vibe. There was ONE time where my food was late, and they gave me some desserts to apologize. I cannot recommend this place enough!“

“I was extremely sad that the sushi place in the montebello mall closed down. I came here and saw a lot of the same workers! The sushi was 11/10, ambience was 11/10 and Service was 11/10! I will totally be back and this just became my new all time favorite sushi spot compared to kaiba! Watch out Monterey park, this one is going to be in the newspapers“

“GYAT this was so damn good. We called in the order at 3pm, but they said they were too busy to take on anymore orders. We left our number and they called us back at around 4pm. We placed our order and asked us what time we would like the food ready. We said 530 and it was ready for us when we pulled up. Crane and Chicken teriyaki bento was so damn good. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Potato croquet was fried perfectly, california roll and tempura roll was on point. Like seriously the calfornia roll was so damn good. The sausage/salad/egg was delicious as well. Haven't had a good bento box since Japan, and this really hit the mark. The salmon/yellowtail sashimi bowl was also delicious. It just melted in our mouths. Everything was amazing, my only regret was we didn't order more. I live 5 min away from this place and wish I knew about this place earlier. “The tempura soba, beef udon, and spicy tuna roll were well prepared and fresh, the taste of each dish is well-balanced. While the restaurant was empty tonight, the service provided by our waiter, Kevin, was not. Kevin has been attentive and consistently courteous, which made our dining experience greater. I am truly grateful for his patience and excellent service.“

“I’m very picky with Japanese food as I grew up eating it. So, when I found this place (which is a mom-pop small restaurant), I felt right at home. Everything was so authentic! . The fish was fresh, the noodles were delicious, and the appetizers was great! I had the unagi, yellowtail, uni, amaebi, scallop, octopus, edamame, sukiyaki, zaru soba, and miso soup. To boot, customer service was phenomenal. Will definitely go back!Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian selections like salads, tofu, soups, etc.Dietary restrictions: If asked, they will accommodate diet restrictions. For instance, my guests don’t like wasabi so I had all sushi ordered without wasabi for them.Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant. There’s also street parking available. Parking is all free.“
