“The drip coffee is brewed right! Not burned. Just perfect. They use a light roast which isn’t sour. Fruit forward and a pleasant smell. The blueberry scone is delicious. Ask for it to be heated.Coffee taste 10/10Coffee brew 10/10Scone 10/10Service 10/10Atmosphere 8/10 (would be 10 except there are several homeless folks outside using the outdoor seating next to the entrance. It can be intimidating to enter the cafe.“

“This was my first time at Great White, or I should say my first time being able to get seated. It’s typically very crowded in the late morning to noon time frame and they only take reservations for dinner. The food is good, and the ingredients are on the healthier side. That said it’s very loud and chaotic so not exactly a great place to enjoy a relaxing meal and conversation with friends.“

“Incredibly impressed with kodo! We found kodo via an Instagram post and immediately decided to book it. The atmosphere & design were relaxing, minimalist, and spa-like in nature. The staff was friendly when we walked in and led us to a beautiful table in the courtyard. They have heaters and are very attentive to offering one to your table. Our server was fantastic, attentive, friendly, gave excellent recommendations and guidance on the menu - and didn't rush us! We're typically fast diners but were encouraged to relax and enjoy our post-dinner drinks. Drinks Lychee Martini with vodka was so light, crisp, and not too sweet. Sake was light and floral and they do an over-pour into a cute wooden box. Espresso Martini was the perfect post-dinner treat for my husband and the Umelicious was perfect for me! Food Crispy Rice - was one of the best crispy rice orders I've ever had, the mixed potato into the tuna which adds a great savory flavor. Croquettes - were a showstopper, you really taste the blue crab, but the fried eggplant marinara was the star for me. Ribeye - perfectly cooked medium rare, good fat, with a great dipping sauce. Risotto - so tasty, consistency semi-similar to congee, the pork belly was cooked beautifully melt-in-your-mouth, and I loved the curry sauce. Highly recommend for a unique menu, super friendly service, and a beautiful atmosphere!“

Thought the wait time can be long. Bring ansun umbrella for sunny days. Their locals are rather small for the high demand.“

“This was an adorable place for pastries and lunch. There is free parking in the structure nearby, and paid street parking around. My partner and I split the Chilaquiles, which was phenomenal with fresh and crisp chips. The pastry we ordered was an apple danish of some sort, and that was delightful as well. You order in the front before self seating, and enjoying a laid-back time with yourself or your friends. The staff were super friendly. The prices were quite high, but understandable for the location and quality of food.“

“Matcha Village has the most delicious desserts! We tried the Green Vine Cheesecake and the Fruit Box Cake. Both were fantastic! The consistency of the matcha for the cheesecake was perfection. “Delicious!!!!! All in house, quality ingredients, and no short cuts. The process and pride in the baking shows up in the food. The pasties are high quality, and very tasty. They use whole food ingredients; no extracts or artificial flavors. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel like part of the family. We grabbed a couple pasties, and sat in their lovely (kid and dog friendly) porch. Amazing views!! The owner came out a few minutes after we finished to ask how everything was, which pastry we enjoyed most, and catch up generally. We had a lovely conversation, and really loved our experience. “Came here on a random morning with my kid after their doctor appointment and so so glad I did! Called ahead to see if they had a high chair & thank god I did cause they only had 1! No biggie, strollers exist for a reason. We got the 1. Catfish special - 2 filet catfish (fried to perfection btw) 2 over easy eggs and cheesy grits 2. Fried chicken with 2 scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes Grits were okay, I make them better at home so obvi I wasn't expecting home outdoors lol Chicken and fish were PERFECT. Tasty and crunchy. My kid ate it up!! Each plate came with a choice of toast, we got the sourdough (it already came buttered) that's customer service! Not to mention, the waiter looked like he was handling the tables and the register. He did so with kindness, attentiveness and promptness. I was never waiting for someone to check on us for very long. I love Inglewood and moved away from here a few years ago so it was nice to come back and feel that community feel again Prior to getting the check, a young lady checked on us (we sat outside) and promptly got us our check and some to-go boxes. 10/10 would recommend. “Not sure why the incredibly high reviews. I would do 3.5 if I could but the atmosphere was really nice so bumped it up. It’s a cozy cafe in a cute area, seating is great. Food was fine— not super expensive, but for what it was, a little more costly than I’d prefer. Definitely not memorable, but tasted fine; cappuccino was meh. However, I’d come back just for the vibes since it’s a good place to catch up with friends etc. and I’d be interested to try a different menu item!“

“This place is a hidden gem! It's conveniently located with plenty of street parking and a small parking lot. From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. We're already looking forward to going back!“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot.The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good,and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“The brunch spot!!!! Such good food. I have only been here once so far so I have a lot more I need to try but when I did go I ordered the chicken and waffles....MY GOODNESS!!! it was one of the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Everyone working here was super nice and the time we went we took our dog so we were eating outside. But too many people were walking by and distracting our dog so the server kindly let us eat inside even though we had a bigger dog. The staff here were super sweet and friendly. The only thing that was a little annoying was inside was REALLY loud. It's kind of a small spot and it gets really packed so it just sounds like people are shouting their conversations to be heard. We had to leave a little early because my gf was getting anxious from the noise. But the food and service was amazing!“

“This is actually a review for Homegirl's catering service: I hired Homegirl to cater my book launch at the University of Southern California. Nadine was super easy to work with in planning out the kinds of foods I wanted for my event. Abel did an excellent job finding our venue and setting up a delicious spread. I got turkey sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, and vegan sandwiches. Everything was delicious on fresh bread baked by Homegirl. We also had agua frescas, hummus, and salad. The hummus was actually so popular that I barely got to try any. My guests ate it all! Note to self: order extra hummus next time. Putting on an event is time consuming and stressful, but Homegirl made the food portion of my event easier to manage. I highly recommend them. They will be at the top of my list for future catering events.“

“Blue Lounge is an amazing lounge to sit and enjoy Shisha. They have a large variety of tobacco flavors and all pipes are "Regals" unless you choose a different specialty pipe they offer. This place is safe, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of lighted parking out front and a large outdoor patio with heaters and seating outback. I love smoking here and will continue to visit GG and team!“

“I went here for breakfast, and it was delicious. We had the vegan breakfast burritos. The restaurant itself is really cute. Honestly a little hidden gem in Van Nuys. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Only downside is no public restroom but luckily we didn’t have to go.“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“incredibly hectic. don't expect perfect service during their busy periods. we went on a sunday at 11:30 AM so it was totally expected. what the service lacks in, the food makes up for. the famous breakfast burrito is near perfection, i didnt know i needed runny eggs in my burrito but they were terrific, as was the chile verde with the burrito. the california chicken wrap was fresh, creamy, and very well seasoned.“

“I really enjoyed Sycamore Kitchen. Be prepared to wait in line to order your food, be assigned a number, and struggle to secure a table. This place is super casual in their approach, which has its pros and cons. The French Toast (available only on weekends) was divine, and the eggs Benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had. Of course, as you’re waiting in line to order, a bakery display stares you down… and we couldn’t resist ordering the Lemon Custard Cake and Apple Bar…. Both of which were phenomenal. This place is a little pricey for being so casual, but it’s worth it.“
