“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“I used to love sunright! I used to get the grape frostie almost every day! They even had a buy one get one free grape frostie for a month before they discontinued it since it was a seasonal drink! I stopped going because their other drinks are not that great in my opinion. If I did want something similar to that, I will occasionally get the strawberry frostie. Their blueberry frostie and their grapefruit frosties were not it. All their new frosties r not it either... BRING BACK THE GRAPE“

“Woke up with a tickle in my throat and knew I needed fresh juices n ginger asap. I called to ask if they make ginger shots and THEY DO! Just not listed on the website. I forget the prices he quoted me. I think 16oz ginger shot was $20? I got 8oz. The 8oz is easily about 3 shots so I'm a happy camper. Also got a large immune system booster. I'm not a beet juice person *at all* but this wasn't bad. Tasted the OJ and carrots more than beets. So glad I found this place. I've tried misc ginger shots in the area and all have been pretty subpar. I KNEW there had to be a place out here that served amazing fresh ginger shots and I didn't have to drive all the way to Silverlake. Will be back!!“

“This little shop is one of the best!! I come here all the time and the customer service is always amazing! They just started selling poke and premade sushi! They have a sushi chef that makes the sushi fresh every morning! If they run out of the sushi you like, you can ask him to make some more but he leaves at 2pm so if they sell out after that, that's all they have! They only sell sushi on weekdays! However, poke is 7 days a week and let me just say it's one of the best poke bowls I've ever had. It's so fresh and so delicious! I am an avid poke lover so trust me when I say this. If you order a poke bowl I recommend trying the house sauce, cilantro sauce, and spicy mayo mixed altogether- chefs kiss! The drinks/boba is just as amazing! Peach Mango Passion Green Tea is my go-to! If you're in the area and craving poke or boba, definitely come here! It's better than any other poke spot or boba spot!“

“I came by this place for the first time with some co-workers. They ordered the bulgogi sandwich. It looked massive and smelled delicious. The person in front of us in line told us the breads are baked there. I decided to come back a few days later to try a breakfast sandwich and pour-over coffee. “When I think of Melo Melo, I think of a homey type of feeling of comfort. Not only are their desserts both delicious and the right amount of sweetness, it reminds me of my mom and grandma making Vietnamese desserts called Che where some have coconut milk and it just gives it the right touch of creaminess to the dessert. You can feel the love that was put in with each bite. For Melo Melo, even though it’s not che, I still get that same nostalgic feeling and my heart is full (and stomach too). They have a wide range of flavors, from different fruits, to jelly, to childhood favorites like ovaltine or oreo mixed with their signature coconut jelly, and more! They just came out with a Sunset Series, the Sunset Mango Coconut, Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut, and the Sunset Durian Coconut. I also grabbed a jar of Matcha Coconut to go. I love the fact that the desserts aren’t overly sweet and get the sweetness from the fruit or mix-in. The soothing coconut cream jelly/pudding consistency makes it a dream to slurp or in my case, inhale the entire thing. Also just upon opening the jar I have instant joy from seeing it jiggle jiggle! The Sunset Mango Coconut reminds me if a mango sticky rice dessert had a baby with coconut pudding. Genius! The Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut reminds me of the glutinous purple rice vietnamese che, with the coconut cream on top. Mmmm! The Sunset Durian Coconut.. OMG.. if you are a durian lover… yes! And yes!!! For you haters out there.. It is the king of all fruit.. Only kings and queens can handle it! Jk! It tastes fresh and not rubbery as if it was frozen and thawed. The durian was creamy and custardy, and then adding another layer of texture coming from the sticky rice, and POW some velvety coconut jelly to put it all together. My absolute fave! The matcha coconut was delicious and not too strong in matcha flavor. I’ve had where matcha was so overbearing and bitter that it was difficult to enjoy. Not this one! This one was super smooth and slurpilicious! Right amount of matcha, right amount of coconut where it doesn’t overpower the green tea, great texture and enjoyable! Yes I devoured that! Basically I inhaled everything because the desserts were light and not heavy! I can totally eat this for days!!! So whoever said they don’t have room for dessert.. that’s a lie because there is room for Melo Melo!“

“Surprisingly good boba tea shop in Bev Hills. They offer in-house made pudding and also cheese top options. They use an auto measure system so drinks are consistent and well balanced. Found boba to be perfectly done, tender but with slight bite. Enjoy that you can adjust the ice and sweetness level. The store is nice but they do have a few junky items kind of scattered around which is ok but lowers the overall experience.“
