“The drip coffee is brewed right! Not burned. Just perfect. They use a light roast which isn’t sour. Fruit forward and a pleasant smell. The blueberry scone is delicious. Ask for it to be heated.Coffee taste 10/10Coffee brew 10/10Scone 10/10Service 10/10Atmosphere 8/10 (would be 10 except there are several homeless folks outside using the outdoor seating next to the entrance. It can be intimidating to enter the cafe.“

“If there’s ANYWHERE in LA that you want to go for the best gelato in town, THIS is the place!Previously on Melrose, but THANKFULLY still here and now located conveniently (for tourists anyways) on Hollywood Blvd. (on the same side of the Dolby Theater & ACROSS the street from Ghiradelli’s - nor a coincidence, I’m sure). Don’t bother with need t any other gelato option in the area.I’ve had mucho gelato in this town and this is the ONLY place that has the best, creamiest, most authentic quality. Even the VEGAN gelato is incredible & would fool any non-vegan. If you learn about their training and history, then you’ll know why their products are SO amazing. Yes, its pricey, but worth it.Mainly a take-out place, but there’s lots of spots at the adjacent mall to sit at(find me on Instagram via @aida.loves )“

“It's 60-some cents per ounce. Cheesecake and peanut butter were really good, but dulce de leche was meh. Lots of nice toppings; the cheesecake bits are real and yummy - not the weird fake stuff Yogurtland has.“

“I was shopping all day and was famished. I wanted to keep shopping so I decided to get something that I could walk around with. All over the Hollywood shopping complex, there were pictures of these taquitos in a cup with guacamole so I had to check them out.I went over Tacos Neza which is tucked in the corner of the mall. It was closing time but the staff was super nice and still served me. I told them I wanted to walk and eat and they said this taquito dish would be good for me.Even though the place was closing people were still coming to enjoy the food and ambiance. I walked throughout the shops with my taquitos which were a little too crunchy for my taste but still good and the guacamole was delicious. I will definitely be back here next time I'm shopping. See for yourself.“

“Haven't had Which Wich? in Years due to nearby locations closing / completely forgetting about the chain.. but after a reminder through old photos, I did some research & was pleasantly surprised to find that their nearest store is 10ish miles away from me, on Hollywood Blvd. My Experience: 7.5/5 Shafkat, alongside being Wonderfully Kind & displaying Selfless Hospitality, presented to me today what was By Far THE BEST Italian hoagie I've had in Years.. So Good in fact that I'm going to start making the trip over the hill every weekend for my once again Favorite, Superior sandwich on this planet. Super, Super Glad to still have a Which Wich? close enough to be able to travel to & I encourage all fellow fans of the chain to make the trip & give it a shot. So, SO WORTH it! :^) Jimmy who? Jersey where? ..this 'Superior Sandwiches' thing is Definitely NOT a joke! XD UPDATE: so damn good I ended up going back the next day. 10,000/10.“

“My mother and I have been coming to the Hollywood Chado Tea room since I was 12 years old (15 years now!) when they previously were located on 3rd street. My absolute favorite tea room! During my 3 years in college in London I compared every afternoon tea to Chado. The best selection of tea in the country (be sure to check out their full book) and such adorable afternoon tea sets. I don't eat eggs but I'll always devour their tea egg sandwich. When my grandmother was gravely anorexic due to Alzheimers, we could always bring her to Chado as the tomato soup was the only food we could get her to eat. Always dear to my heart, thank you Chado!“
“No clue how Mel's only has 3 stars... it was easy to find via GPS and was what we expected; Hollywood diner with basic breakfast staples at a good price. All of us enjoyed our food, unlimited coffee and the environment. Wait staff was nice and attentive and again we were very surprised at the affordable prices so close to Hollywood boulevard. The only thing that was weird was parking. There is a large parking lot right next to Mel's. There is a sign that states they validate parking but when we went in there the attendant said we had to do street parking. So, we parked in the street and used the meter which was fine but just a bit confused why we couldnt park in the parking lot and have it validated... anyhow, would recommend this place and will be back again!“

“Food was delicious and service was excellent. Went with a group of about 13 around 5:30 on a Friday evening and there was nobody else at the restaurant that early so service was quick and food came out hot and fresh. My spouse and I split an order of the pesto angel hair pasta and the sauce was delicious but the chicken was sparse and cut up so small that I barely tasted it. Still good, though! And we also got an order of the garlic bread which was great, as well. Our entire table all got different dishes that everyone seemed to enjoy as well as cocktails that were a hit. The fresh bread with oil and vinegar was also plentiful and deserts were very good, as well (my spouse and I shared a panna cotta which was tasty but small).Bonus for the parking in back which was nearly empty because the restaurant had just opened and they allow you to leave your car to park for $10 until 11pm which we did as we were seeing a show at the Pantages only a short walk from the restaurant.Parking: Free parking when dining and $10 to park until 11pm if you're planning on leaving your vehicle to go to a show or anything nearby“

“It’s an iHop so you know what to expect, but this one is one of the best we have been to. Food good, coffee hot, staff efficient and friendly. We ordered from the 55+ menu which gives slightly smaller portions (see photos) at a discounted price.“

“The Cat & Fiddle is a local pub that has spent many years in the bustling town of Hollywood. It has been passed down from one family member to the next and has retained a grand reputation as a great establishment in a small nook of Los Angeles that serves fine British fare. The service is exquisite. The staff is friendly and offers wonderful suggestions. The space is what you expect from a great pub. Loud, raucous, fun-loving, and lively. The food is delicious. Served in a true British fashion. Flavorful and delicious. It's definitely worth the trip to come over and grab a pint and some chips with malt vinegar.“
