“This was a step back in time, where you are treated as an honored guest and each course is perfection. The steaks we got were cooked perfectly to order and our waiter was attentive to all our needs without seeming to hover over the table. This was our most expensive meal on the trip, but was soooo worth it.“

“We were in town for an annual work conference and were very pleased with this restaurant. The location in downtown Napa was great, and there is public parking (on street and free in a public garage) adjacent to the building. It felt like a fun, safe location and the downtown vibe was fun. The food was great - good variety, cooked exactly to our liking and the drinks were SO good! The blood orange margarita was to die for! Our server was very friendly, service was quick and efficient and prices were very reasonable for the quality. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. We will definitely be back next year. “I love Frida Kahlo and I love Mexican food so it's a love match! There is no outside seating as the Yelp listing had said (had my pooch with me), so I ordered to go. Food came out fast and hot and well packed. Staff were very friendly and nice and the decor was charming. Lots of happy people coming and going and parking was quick and easy in front. We had a variety of things all delicious although for me a little too spicy overall but my son loved it all. Huge portions and great value I will definitely go back again“

“Just like most of the other reviews say this course has a great layout! That is the best part of the course for sure. The driving range is grass not mats which is a huge plus! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The cons are maintenance is lacking. Par 3 tee boxes look like a war zone and near impossible to find a comfortable place to stand that doesn't have one or both feet partially in divots. Fairways are ok but not great. Greens roll pretty good but don't look very good. The worst part of this place however is the "grille". I can honestly say of any golf course I've ever played including some courses which are far worse than this course, Hiddenbrooke has the worst food I've ever seen. Staff is friendly and it isn't their fault it's the management to even allow such a horrible menu/quality of food. It's really bad. I had a chicken Caesar wrap thinking that would be the safest of the 5 or so options and I was worried the rest of the day I would be sick from it. Still giving 5 stars because I would come back to play the course again as it has a fun layout. If this course were maintained better and had a decent food option I would pay twice as much to play it. Since it doesn't I would definitely not pay over $50 with cart and probably won't play unless it's a $40 or less deal.“
