“My son and I were looking for something different. We drove by this place and decided to try it. I ordered the snapper with spinach and brown rice. It was delicious. Cooked perfect and seasoned perfectly. Even the brown rice was good. ( which brown rice sometimes doesn't taste that great, but the cashier suggested the garlic butter or Cajun seasoning for the rice and they both were sooooo good!!) Spinach was excellent. My son ordered the fried fish and French fries. We both shared our food with eachother. His was so good!!! He said he really liked mine too!!! When we finished we were more than satisfied. ... We were full and SO HAPPY. Everyone was really nice and we are definitely coming back soon!!!!!!“

The only thing about going here in this area?? is when you pull up in the parking lot there is always about 2-3 young men that are standing out in the parking lot. Which make it alittle uncomfortable to go there.Parking: Their is always like 2-3 young.men just standing around in the parking area. Which is very uncomfortable.“

“California Fish Grill serves amazing fish delicacies at good prices. This was a new dish on the menu and I enjoyed it very much. The servers were nice and helpful. The restaurant itself was nice to dine in. I would definitely return again when I can.“

“I've been here before, but I was impressed tonight. As with a lot of places, you are greeted by an order kiosk. The process was easy. I had a short wait and my name was called. The food was more tasty than I remember. The Salmon power bowl was good and appeared to be very healthy. The fish taco was tasty, but seemed a bit over fried, but still good. All in all I'm pleasantly surprised.“

“I wanted y'all to see the consistency of their food. The seasoning is great. It's lightly battered. Very tasty. I've only had one issue and it was handled very well. Thé music is good inside. The food always tastes fresh. They work hard to give us great service. I normally get the red snapper with the shrimp. The basa is good too and there's one more that I want to try.“

“Discovered this little hole in the wall a few years back while looking for something new near my place of work. I have to say, penguins never disappoints. When ever I decide to be a tad bad, I bring on the whole office to sin along with me. Lol. They're always so patient when calling in multiple orders and their service is a quick in and out. The food is always fresh. And they have lots of fish to pick from. Easy on the pockets too.. if you haven't tried it, DO IT! Stop thinking about it. My person fave is combo 15. Fried oysters with my choice of fish, sole filets. And I always add a piece of orange roughy.“

“Visit family who live across the street several times a year and we always get lunch here at least once per visit. Have not tried breakfast but have had a variety of sandwiches and they've all been good with plenty of meat. They are fairly quick and have always been accurate. Food is for take out only. Not bad prices and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Nice (small) selection of groceries, especially drinks and chips to go with lunch. Looks like a good selection of wine, etc., but have not gotten any liquor there. Would definitely recommend for lunch.“

“I love my fish and chips and this place along with their tartar sauce delivers! Also their zucchini slices are the best. I am off Standish to order any kind of seafood from a new place but it was delicious I am so happy I did. Good choice for comfort seafood.“

“The food is always excellent. Cooked to order so it's not super fast food but it's really good food. It is a small four table establishment. Most people take it to go. But we have sat and had our dinner there and enjoyed ourselves. They have canned and bottled beverages, no Fountain drinks. And according to my wife who is English this is the correct English fish and chips.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp to get to the walkway to the store a couple of shops away. The walkway to the store is clear for wheelchair use.“
