“EMA Karaoke & Bar in San Jose is a vibrant spot for a night out, offering both an open bar area and individual rooms for rent. The karaoke experience here is a blast, with a diverse selection of songs to choose from. However, if you're expecting gourmet cuisine, you may find the food to be just average. As the night progresses, the bar tends to get crowded after 9 pm, so it's best to arrive early to secure your spot. Despite the crowds, the energy is infectious, adding to the overall excitement.“

“We came on a Saturday around 11:20am and it was completely empty, I imagine they were just opening but we were seated quickly, given tea and we already knew what we wanted so we ordered pretty quickly. The food came over very fast for just being open! Mongolian beef 4/5: a little bit of a spice but nothing major, a good kick and the beef was really tender. Green beans 5/5: I usually don't get greens but my partner has been wanting to incorporate more so we agreed on these and they were really good, maybe my fav thing we ate here! Mapo tofu 4/5: very classic but done better than a lot of the other Chinese places I've been to around the area. Chongqing spicy fried chicken 4/5: they were great, had the spice I was looking for and will be a staple when I come back.“

“I set up decorations for an event at Puesto and the staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and engaged! I was there also painting faces and making balloons, and the service was fantastic. Good looking space. I wasn't even the customer, but definitely a great venue for a special event!“

“As indicated by other before me, this place is fascinating with its display of customer photos. Service is great, food is even better. I had a breakfast burrito in the way to an all-day training at the Levi's stadium. The food was a bit messy, but contained, and super good. I ate in the car, so didn't have much time to really enjoy the ambiance. If I ever find myself back in the area, I'm definitely stopping by Kenny's.“

“The food has generally been great, hence the 5 stars. However, I've noticed the quality is starting to drop over the past month (Apr '24). We have had two consecutive substandard orders recently, where the dosa was underdone. I hope the ownership addresses quality issues as I'd hate for this place to go downhill.“

“Service was attentive without being intrusive. Staff were courteous and kind, explaining the food as it was served to us and even offering extra dishes but this was likely because we came on the first night of the new month as they were removing certain items from the menu. Delectable food and calming ambience. One of the best dining experiences I can remember.“

“Absolutely loved this shabu shabu hot pot experience! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the broth was packed with rich, savory flavors. The variety of vegetables, meats, and dipping sauces was impressive. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and authentic shabu shabu experience!“

“Best place for Poke, hands down in the Bay Area. We go here at least a few times a month, if not every week.Their chutoro roll is the best value and price in the area and their bowls offer quite a few choices and have always been fresh for us. Their topping selection is always fun to choose from also! They are very serious about allergies and will open new containers for those who have celiac and other allergies if you let them know what you have.I also love how they have a point system where if you order 10 bowls, you can get a free one.“

“I was in the area so I came here for a late lunch and I was so impressed by the interior remodeling!! I think the last time I came was more than a year ago, so I was definitely surprised. I got my favorite, Galbi Tang, and it was well seasoned, with small pieces of meat (which I preferred over the huge chunks) and definitely filling. I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pics of the food!! Definitely the place to go for traditional Korean soups.“

“As first time "attendees" we loved Su's! My son constantly asks when we can go back! The food was so tasty and the food line immaculately clean. We met the owner who is very cordial and constantly checking on us for any need we may have had. The dining room is very casual. It is clean but on the older side. We will go back especially because it is within walking distance by from our home!!!“

“Food was so good that my mom asked me to take her again just a few days later. We had the aged ribeye. The second time we went for Mother's Day and the Hostess, Angelina, was amazing. My parents are elderly and they asked to change our table several times for various reasons and Angelina was so patient and friendly and she made sure we got a table that both my parents were comfortable with. Then we got even luckier because Javier was our server and he was super friendly, professional, and nice. He really went the extra mile when I was concerned that my Dad hadn't come back from the bathroom. Javier went and checked on my Dad even though Javier was so busy. I highly recommend this restaurant. Here is what we had Aged ribeye Regular ribeye Salmon Fried mushrooms Sauted mushrooms Asparagus Olive oil cake Carrot cake Crambule Even the Latte and Capaccino were great.“

“First time having Paik's!The two of us ordered:-jajangmyeon large $13.35-tangsuyuk #8 $15.45 crispy porkThe noodles were good and it was my first time having Korean jajangmyeon. Definitely great to try! Flavors were good. Noodles were a bit on the softer/stickier side. The crispy pork was super crispy. A bit heavy to eat on your own. I would recommend sharing it with 2-3 people. The radish wasn't crunch which was a bit surprising.Service is quick and there is a lot of seating inside.Parking is limited and can definitely be a pain.I'll definitely be back to try out other items on the menu.“

“I have had the pleasure of dining at numerous restaurants around the world, but none have left me in awe like Golkonda Restaurant. This hidden gem is a must-visit destination for any food connoisseur, particularly those who crave the rich flavors of authentic Indian cuisine. The crowning jewel of Golkonda's menu is, without a doubt, their biryanis - the best in the world, in my humble opinion! Each bite transports you to the spice markets of India, with the perfect blend of aromatic spices, tender meat, and fluffy basmati rice. The variety of biryanis offered is impressive, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. From the classic Hyderabadi to the innovative vegetarian options, every dish is a masterpiece. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. “This spot is so good! It's open until midnight as well. I got their CC Chicken Dupbop bowl to go and the portions were huge! I like that you can choose a rice option in which I got the Kimchi rice similar to Korean fried rice. Food was very good, chicken was sweet and spicy, and had the right amount of crunch. The interior was also very nice, it had a lot of Kpop vibes. It was also quite lively at nice. The staff were super friendly and very helpful! I'll definitely be coming back soon.“

“Very delicious food. Atmosphere was great, the place felt nice, almost formal, and the service was attentive. They serve you green tea in addition to any drink you want, which was a nice touch. Be aware that the meals seem to be eaten family style, as there is a lot of food for what you pay for. The orange beef and prawn chow mein plus meat dumplings was enough for a small family. It was very delicious, I will definitely be returning!“

“Small cute, hood service. I had the sashimi special. It was very good. Fresh buttery selection by the chef . Ordered the veggie tempura. Didn't like the breading or the dipping sauce: veggie selection was good. Miso soup was ok but 3 very small squares of tofu. I prefer a more robust recipe. Ordered a very nice orange roll to go. Again salmon was yummy. Price seemed ok for lunch. Since I enjoyed the roll/ sashimi I will visit again.“

“Easy 5 stars. "Choice." Men's bathroom: paper towels or air blow dryers that blow bacteria and viruses everywhere. ? 4 beer flight. Choice! They were out of one though, but what they had made up for it. And I had the breakfast burrito for dinner. It's all about choice. Great place, our 1st time here. We'll be back. And a special shout out to our server: Ashley. Very helpful, friendly, and attentive, but not annoyingly so. ???“

“Pizza was ok. Not my favorite style, I prefer New York style pizza with thinner crust and better undercarriage. We tried the butter chicken pizza as well. While butter chicken is my favorite Indian dish, this had no flavors that tasted like butter chicken to me. It definitely had Indian flavors but I wouldn't call it butter chicken.“

“This is your mom and pa store, serving good honest American Chinese food. If you are looking for some authentic Chinese food, you should keep looking. But if you are a fan of Panda Express, this place beat Panda by a mile. First of all, the service is great. The lady at the counter (owner) helped me picking out the dishes for lunch when I couldn't decide what to order. She also told me the history of this place while I wait for my orders to be ready. Second, the price is un-real in 2024. When I first read the menu, I was like, is this an old menu from years ago? All the dishes cost maybe 2/3 of what the going rate at other restaurants. I asked the lady about the price and she assured me that is the right price, LOL. Now comes to the food. To be honest, I was skeptical about the food with this cheap price. I quickly got home to try them, they were pretty good. The salt and pepper fish was still crunchy and tasted great, broccoli beef was also good. The Singapore Fried rice noodle is a bit plain but nothing a bit of spicy sauce couldn't fix. Last but not the least the Young Chow fried rice is also good. Like I said, if you like American Chinese food, this is the place. It's cheap, fast and friendly. I sure will come back to try other dishes on their menu.“

“Authentic Korean soondubu (soft tofu soup) and haemul pajeon (seafood pancake)I love ordering their Seafood Soft tofu soup in medium and their seafood pancake. Their dishes have the right flavor and is not overly salty like at different soft tofu shops. The seafood pancake is also perfectly made with the right crunch on the outside and is not soggy. Their appetizer side dishes are also tasty, filling and can be refilled. Love the fish cake! They accommodate dietary restrictions and I usually order the vegetarian / seafood broth as the broth usually is made with meat. This location out of their Palo Alto, Milpitas, and South San Jose locations is the original and the best.“

“Quality of meat is superb. Our group got beef belly, brisket & a small amount of pork belly. Sides are just ok. The hospitality is one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was like being at a friend or family members home and being waited on, treated like our experience mattered. The lady was laughing and joking with us & catering to our every need. The price was spectacular under $200 for 8 people !!! That's $25 per person! We tipped we because the staff deserved it. Most definitely coming back :)“

“The spicy edamame garlic was a but of a disappointment, not spicy and very sticky. The spicy chicken karage was not your typical crunchy chicken, the texture was more like a chicken's general type of meal. Everything else was pretty good including the 49ers roll. We were able to sit instantly, no wait on a Friday night. The waitress really did rush us through the meal though.“
