I can't stop ordering their bim bowl, and they always listen to my modifications which showcases their incredible customer service. Nonetheless, the food here is high quality, affordable and delicious, making this an incredible restaurant to consider in your weekly rotation.“

“I like a lot of the food from Africa, and have been to Ghana and Morocco. I was excited to try out The Peppered Goat, and as you can tell by the five stars, they did not disappoint. I've got a few suggestions as well. I ordered a Peppered Goat Pie and a Peppered Beef Pie. Both were delicious. The crust was a perfectly flakey crust, and the meat in both were cooked to perfection, flavorful and tender. It's pretty rare that you can have meat this tender. 1.) I showed up there instead of ordering ahead. I think it's probably easier to order in advance or order via delivery rather than hang out in the hallway for 30 minutes. In other words, it's not a restaurant. It's one of numerous kitchens in a hallway, nothing more, although there are a couple of metal benches with seats in the parking lot outside. 2.) If you are curious about trying goat and have never tried it before, this would be an outstanding first place to do it. I don't know what people think goat might taste like, but here, it's very tender, spicy, and flavorful. It's not "weird" tasting at all, but I do notice that a lot of my friends have never tried goat, so I figured I would mention this. 3.) If the pies are this good, I can just about guarantee that the egusi soup, eba or fufu, and other dishes are really great. Also, I noticed that other people seem to love their jollof rice, so there's that. 4.) What's also cool is that they have vegan dishes. For instance, one of the choices is Peppered Vegan Pie, which are mushrooms smothered in their signature pepper sauce recipe. There is also a vegan swallow combo (a swallow dish is dough-like food that is typically eaten with soups or stews, and can include cassava or yam that has been pounded....so it has nothing to do with birds). Definitely recommended. I'll be ordering again!“

“Food is great! Even though in LA there are a lot of luxury hibachi restaurants, even high end omakase, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, this restaurant is phenomenal. This restaurant cost you little but delivers high-end Omakase level service and awesome food. The key part is the hibachi scallops and fillet mignon, nice flavor and juicy, a real gem!“
