“Their food never disappoints. I go from the carne asada torta to the tacos and still can't decide which I like best. The meat, asada or carnitas, is always good and smells great and the beans and rice . Their salsas are really good. I always get this through Door Dash (had not idea it was a food truck) so if you order on there remember to add your request for the salsa.“

“I recently attended an event catered by Food Joy Catering and not only was the food visually stunning, but every bite was incredible! I honestly couldn't believe how impressed I was with the food. It was a gorgeous spread of appetizers, and every time I went in for another bite, it was like each item was freshly made to order. I don't know how they did that, or maybe I was just lucky, but they kept refilling the food so it was all hot and fresh!One of my favorite things they served were beef empanadas with chimichurri. The arancini and vodka sauce was also incredible, as were the chicken taquitos with guacamole! And the dumplings... and the crudites.... and the cheese board and charcuterie.... and the fresh figs!!! Still can't get over how great it was. Plus all of the staff were incredibly kind and organized. Wonderful wine selection too which great glassware. Now, I don't at ALL have any events coming up in my life that will require a caterer. But I hope to attend more events catered by Food Joy!“

“Finally made the trip with my son after spending the night before drooling over theirInstagram posts. My son had La Encajosa and I had La Mamalona. I almost asked for mine with no pineapple because it just seemed weird but OMG Im so glad I didnt. It was so good!!! “The Landmark is the ultimate banquet hall in LA. It is based on a large property in Mission Hills with huge open air parking lot and a big green garden. Entering into the building, you enter the beautiful hallway area with lounge sofas, a bar that you can use for tea/coffee or alcohol, and the beautiful grand piano by the long windows. On the right side, the big doors get you into the magnificent hall where the party is going to be. You are welcome to use the hall however l you desire to design it for youe special occasion. Some prefer to have the curtains open, some prefer to hire a vendor for their specific desired design. Menu is 10/10. “I just stopped by today and had a great experience here. I got carnitas and al pastor street tacos and they were unbelievable. Such great flavors in the meat. Also the green and red salsa were very complimentary (red salsa is smoky spicy yum). Got the asada quesadilla for the kids (of course I had a bite) and was really pleased with the asada flavor too! Even the sour cream is great, homemade you can tell. The attention to quality is apparent!I am super glad because the first few times I was not impressed. Maybe I got the wrong things, and it seemed expensive, but everything was great at the service was great as well! It was only $20 and was enough food for 3 adults. Saw they have really good $12 lunch deals now too. Can't wait to come back!!“

“So happy to have tried Sugo! I only dipped my toes into the flavor pool ordering only the French Fries and the Meatballs and sauce! Having had an Italian Chef for a Father, I grew up being able to tell good Italian flavors from a simple dish like Meatballs and Sauce (gravy)! Both were excellent from Sugo! Hot from heat, great texture and fine flavors and plenty of food! I'm looking forward to delving deeply into the menu next time! The rest of the family dinner was a hit with everyone too! “This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

“Food is great! Even though in LA there are a lot of luxury hibachi restaurants, even high end omakase, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, this restaurant is phenomenal. This restaurant cost you little but delivers high-end Omakase level service and awesome food. The key part is the hibachi scallops and fillet mignon, nice flavor and juicy, a real gem!“

“Food and Service 10 out of 10! This is our second event booked with Marcelo and crew. From the first call, he was the upmost professional, very attentive and responsive. Our event was held in Santa Ynez, Ca. Marcelo & crew arrived at 6:30 am to service food by 3 pm. From beginning to end, theses guys got their stuff down. Their set up is impressive, then they start preparing all meats, marinating everything on site, all high quality meats, sausage, ribs, chicken served with salad, bread, chimichurri sauce and empanadas (beef, chicken, spinach) and we opted for roasted veggies for 175 ppl. Our guest could not stop raving about how spectacular the food was. Being from Argentina, I can attest this is as authentic as it gets! They are legit. Throughout the day, Marcelo's attitude was so positive and there was nothing he did not answer with, "no problem, we got it covered ", this was so reassuring for a "control-freak like me" lol. I just knew I had nothing to worry about when it came to the food. At the end of the day, the breakdown was as impressive as the set up, as I watched them clean every utensil, cookware and grill back to new before loading things back in their trailer. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any event small or large, they will not disappoint. Thank you Marcelo and crew for a spectacular job.“

“Churro man is the best churros I've had here in the SFV. The churros are made fresh to order and they come out super hot and crisp. They aren't too hard and are soft in the inside. The individual that makes the churros is always super courteous, kind and is super cool. I usually come here every other Friday and always get the 7 churros special. “Where do I even start. Every time I come to this spot, they never miss. This is by far the most consistent taco stand I've ever been to. Their burritos are the best ones I've ever had in my life. This is equivalent to getting street tacos in Mexico. 10/10 recommend. (Their al pastor is euphoric)“

“Thanks to Ruben and his wife our party was a huge success! I picked Dos Tacos because I really liked the presentation of the cute serving dishes and the food looked delicious. It's a family business and keeping the business in Simi Valley was important to me. All the food was fresh, flavorful and prepared with care. I had a baby shower in the backyard and wanted something special and fun! Ruben and his wife showed up a little early. Set up everything without any issues and after an hour of cooking and preparing the feast, we were all ready to eat. Everyone was so happy and there was plenty to eat.. even grilled veggies for my vegan friends! I highly recommend using Dos Tacos Y Tu!“
