“This is a great French restaurant in Ridgefield. Food and service all on point. Very reasonably priced wine selection by the bottle. We enjoyed the salmon ND the haddock dishes. Our first meal there, and we will be back. Parking is off Main St-- in the back of the building“

The Benjamin - Ridgefield American •
20 West Ln, Ridgefield

“All of the food our party of four ordered was excellent. Starters were creative and delicious and the main courses did not disappoint. Another highlight was the fabulous homemade whole wheat sourdough bread! However I got the feeling the restaurant was over-ambitious about the number of people that could be comfortably accommodated. There were long waits for everything most notably our main courses. Unfortunately several parties around us had to pack up and take meals to go because children had become restless (understandable). Also the noise level was uncomfortable which could easily be remedied by installing more acoustical panels in the dining areas. We would go back for the food because it was that good but we hope the management addresses the shortcomings.“

“Cenadou is quite the little gem in North Salem for fellow Francophiles. The inviting ambiance immediately draws you in, with warm lighting and plush seating. But the real star is the window into the kitchen, where you can watch Chef Tyrone meticulously plate each dish with such care promising culinary excellence with every bite.I've had the pleasure of dining a couple times now enjoying both the grilled Wagyu beef (HIGHLY recommend) and Cod fish, and both were exceptional! The Wagyu was cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection with sides to share including roasted bone marrow, while the Cod was delicate and beautifully cooked with a sorrento lemon sauce that will leave you never wanting to eat cod without it ever again. Can’t wait to go back to work my way through Cenadou’s menu—highly recommend a visit!“
